If you could just change your first name or last name what would it be

for me I want my first name to be either David.......or Teg (aka Tegowai lol)

i don't know about last name so i'm not going with that

What kind of name would I want to have, hmmmmm, I want the name Akirah. It's Arabic and means life after death. Than again the name I already have is pretty cool too, I mean you meet someone with the name like Mahfooza very often.

I would have liked my full Bulgarian first name on my birth certificate. But my family is kind of from the hick part of the country, so we just have our nicknames on them. -.- Like having "Billy" on your birth certificate.

I plan to change my name to Lenore. I've always loved that name. it just sounds so.... exotic i guess.

I love my name the way it is. It suits me perfectly, but I love giving middle eastern names to the characters in my stories. Khalid (everlasting) and Sidra (of the stars) are my favorite, although Sidra is actually Latin.

I want my last name to be more Filipino. That's what I am, but my last name is Hernandez. So when someone meets me for the first time and asks about my name, they always ask if I'm Hispanic. It gets really irritating. I love my first name though, so I won't change it.

I think I would want my name to be Lilly. Or possibly Emily. Or Emma, or Emmaline. (Although Emmaline is my cousin's name and everyone calls her Emma.) Elizabeth is nice, or Beth and that's already my middle name.

The only problem I have with my first name is that my little sister (who was adopted) pretty much has the same name. Well, it's not the same, but if you go and look at it's meaning and origin, it is my name in another language. I don't think my parents thought that through completely when they named her.

I like the name Winter.

I'm very unhappy with my real name, so I do plan to change it one day. Last name...I think I'll keep as it is; it's really not that bad. Long and confusing and annoying as hell, but not that bad.

My first and middle names, on the other hand, HAVE to go. I don't dare say them here because I just plain hate them. As for what I'm changing my name to...I'm not entirely decided. The idea of Akira Nova is standing out to me at the moment though. May go for that...may not. but either way I like it. I'd have some name or another attached to me that would be pronounceable in every language I know. That...would be nice.

Hmm....Well I have never considered changing my first name and well, xD My last name was changed against my will, but it is very unusual for where I live so I grew used to it ( Z last names unite! xD) but the name I want to change is my middle name. Not a huge changed. Just from Lauren to Laurena. It would make my full name flow so much better. Instead of two syllable x3 It would be a 2-3-2 format and sound so much prettier. xD

For a long time I wanted to change my name to Denise Davies (Day-vees). It's rather close to my actual name, but I still wanted to change it. I named my Build-A-Bear that. I plan to name my daughter Denise if my future husband agrees.

Whatever I changed my name to, I wanted to keep my initials of DDD. :yes:

I like my name actually. It's Luz Marina which is Latin for "Light of the Sea" I think I have a beautiful name, because it's symbolic to my life. How I found the light in a stormy sea. It's poetic I think.

My dad influenced a lot in the name... his mom was named Maria de la Luzand he was in the Marines in Mexico (I was born in Mexico, btw) Which was called "la Marina" or "the Marines" in Spanish. So they thought it was appropriate since I never met my grandmother, and my mom adored my dad. Personally I despise the man, but I got to hand it to him for giving me an awesome name *shrugs* :sarcasm:

I'd like my first name to be Cathrine. (My first name is Kristamarie ;-; ) I do not have a middle name. Neither of my parents could agree on one, so now I'm stuck with two first names. -_- But I usually only go by Krista.

i didn't used to like my name at all. I always fancied changing it to Sharn. Now though, i don't think i would. Like most things about me, i've grown into my name. It's mine, and mine only. I've never met anyone else my own age, that has the same first or last name. If i don't know what else i am during life, one thing i can remain sure of, is that i'll be Marion Godwin.
My middle name i'm not to fond of, but i never use it, so i can live with it.

I think my name is perfect for me :yes: but I hate my brother's name. His name is led better which sounds weird -_- it gives me teh feel that HEY I WANNA CHANGE YOUR NAME TO SOMETHING ELSE!!!:illgetu:

I used to want to change my name to Jennifer or Elizabeth, but after taking Latin, I really like my name :)
Amanda is a future passive participle that can form passive periphrastic constructions (She must be loved) or just be an adjective (She will have been loved, or She is fit to be loved).
From the main verb amo, amare, amavi, amatum - to love.
Latin makes everything fun :D

I've chosen the name Juniper Silver for myself. I don't think I'd change it legally, but I use this name on websites and on my artwork.

I always wanted my name to be Monica, when I was younger. I still wouldn't mind being called that. It's a pretty name. And my last name, I wanted it to be Willard. My half sisters last name. Monica Willard. Sounds a little funny now though, heh. Maybe I could start using it as an alias.

These are all lovely names.

I don't believe at this time in my life I would change me name. It's possible I would then forget it, and not know when somebody is talking to me! `laughs`
I do love being called Gramma though.

My sister in law's name was Judy, and she changed it to Anndrea.
My nephew's name was Troy Damion, and as he got older he decided he didn't like Troy for some reason, so he started using his middle name, Damion.

Unfortunately, he's in the Navy now, and they don't require him to keep his first name. But I think they do fine with T. Damion.

I don't mind my Last Name, it's Lieu-Dang, and if you took out the Dang, I think it'd sound cool
As for my First Name, I'm a little unhappy, since it's "Amy" but spelled as, "Ammie"

I think my name defines me. if I change it, then I won't be me anymore. :P

But there are these two girls, a year older, who should totally switch names. I keep call one by the other! (Irena and Claudia)
