We have a religious pancake day. It's on the 2nd of February, St Mary's Light Mass. Or festival of light, I don't know what it's called in English.
At home, we rarely celebrate it though. My mom often forgets the date, and when she thinks "oh, Lightmass should be around this time", it's usually too late.

I wish we had pancake day. Or any food holiday, as long as it doesn't involve hot dogs. Because I can see the US doing something lame like that.
I just love pancakes of all kinds. Thin, fluffy, sweet or savory.

Hmm that sounds very fun actually because i love to make pancakes with lots of butter and syrup ^_^. Sadly i don't celebrate it. In fact, this is the first time i have herd of it.
I love to make breakfast foods like waffles too! Yum yum :3 with berries and more syrup and whipped cream! I love to make things really sweet haha.

I don't celebrate it in the religious sense, but i do try and make pancakes. More often than not, on a day either slightly before or after Shove Tuesday.
I like pancakes in moderation. Not to sugary or lemony. I can only take about two or three small ones before i start to feel sick.

There's usually a day for everything, isn't there? Lol. To be honest though, I don't like pancakes at all. So I don't think I'd celebrate a pancake day. :XD

Hmm... February 28th? I'll have to eat pancakes that day =3
Yes I like pancakes =D I like them with nothing but pancake.
Something random: I have a cat that at 3 (big) pancakes on her own... mainly because she attacked the other cats that got near "her" pancakes.

O.o P-Pancake day?! I ought to move to Australia! I love pancakes, but I've never heard of that holiday( or if I did, I forgot). I barely get to eat pancakes once a month now.

I love pancake day, it's my favourite. I love pancakes and that the only time I can get my mum to make me some. I always have my pancakes with ice cream or a choc ice, it's always fun to put a choc ice in the middle and roll a nice hot pancake around it and make melt.
I want pancakes now.
Edit: It's the last day before the start of Lent, it's on the 24th this year here.

I wish the United States had a Pancake Day! Or some holiday involving good food that you don't eat until you keel over, unlike Thanksgiving. The food is good but there's far too much of it! I'm not fond of overeating so I don't really enjoy Thanksgiving as much as I should. It's far too easy--and in my case there's too much peer pressure from family--not to eat until you feel like you're going to burst.
I love German-style potato pancakes, they make a tasty side dish.

My brother and I have a Pancake Day every now and again on a Friday ever since we found a Pancake Day video on youtube from some Maid Marian group. Go look it up, it's there. It's hilarious.
In any case, I've been craving pancakes all week. I'm going to go to IHOP as soon as I can get ahold of my boything and drag him there. I like all of the kinds of pancakes that they make there, the regular ones are my favorite though.
My mom used to make us pancakes, but they were horrible. Always came out really dry and hard to eat.
My favorite stuff to put on pancakes is fruit, and sometimes the butter flavored syrup that they have at the IHOP.
I like theirs plain a lot of the time, though :O!

That sounds like one of the few most awesome days I've ever heard of! You know, apart from Talk Like a Pirate Day. >_>
The only pancakes I'm a huge fan of are the really unhealthy ones. Yaknow, drowned in chocolate sauce with chocolate chips in them?
Yum. <3
Though I have to say, I like waffles better. *Shifty eyes*

In my city, we have what we call the "Le Festivale du Yoyageur"
in my old school we used to have pancakes and sausages a week before the festivale, and they tasted so good! Dx
I have never tasted pancakes and sausages like that other than made by then.
Fortunately my old school has a cabane each year at the festivale where you can buy them. ;w;
The pancake breakfast was my favorite day each year.
After having left the school for six years,
I still feel melancholy a week before the festivale because I really want pancake breakfast day. ;__;

I LOVE pancakes.
I can't remember when pancake day is.
We used to have pancakes every Friday night, it was like a tradition we invented because my parents liked to cook something quick and easy when they got home from work on a Friday night, and Friday night was also treat night. Because we ate really healthily throughout the rest of the week.
I never got bored of them after years. They're really filling though, and I must say I prefer sweet to savoury. :)
I haven't had too many savoury dishes involving pancakes, but I made some for my partner a couple of weeks ago for when he got home from work and he said it was the best thing he'd eaten in ages! It made me a very happy bunny.

Oh my, a Pancake Day? How fun!
When I was younger, my mother would make pancakes on Sundays. We looked forward to it. Real maple syrup was much easier to come by then.
So February 28th is the day we should all eat pancakes? That sounds like a good idea. I believe I will do that. Pancakes and sausage would make a very nice brunch.

Wow! I've never even heard of pancake day! Is that like a national holiday or something in Australia? We have a lot of little silly holidays here that don't get national acclaim, but some people celebrate just for fun, like Talk like a Pirate Day!
What do you do on Pancake Day? Is it like.. mandatory to eat pancakes? o__o Nu waffles on pancake day or ELSE! :XD

When is Shrove Tuesday (Pancake Day)?
Shrove Tuesday always falls 47 days before Easter Sunday, so the date varies from year to year and falls between 3 February and 9 March.
What is Shrove Tuesday?
Shrove Tuesday is a day of celebration as well as penitence, because it's the last day before Lent.
Lent is a time of abstinence, of giving things up. So Shrove Tuesday is the last chance to indulge yourself, and to use up the foods that aren't allowed in Lent. Pancakes are eaten on this day because they contain fat, butter and eggs which were forbidden during Lent.

So it's like Fat Tuesday! I love Fat Tuesday! I used to live in a town where there was a good number of people of polish descent so the bakeries would always have pachski (I probably spelled that really wrong but it's pronounced Poonch-key) It's basically a really tasty jelly or cream filled donut. It's bigger for one thing, it also has a richer dough.
I like pancakes too. They're tasty.
