Well, I don't use hemp products, but I think it's cool that people can put cannabis to good use, y'know, other than by smoking it. :'D

You're making gloves and stuff out of hemp? That's really cool! Good to know it has many uses.

i have always wanted to know how to make those amazing hemp necklaces, but i don't know how or where to get it haha. where do you get cannibis? and maybe you can teach me how to make the necklaces? that would be amazing, and i love the gloves :P

Although these are made from the fibers of a cannabis plant, the species of cannabis does not contain enough THC to get a person high. Most fibers are taken from something called "industrial hemp" which has been bred for the low THC content.

You cannot smoke these gloves - you are more likely to develop lung cancer than to get any kind of high.

Hemp fibers are very durable, and have long been used for many, various purposes - paper, string, etc. The plant also has antifungal and antibacterial properties. Industrial hemp is a natural pesticide and herbicide. This reduces the amount of harmful, chemical pesticides and herbicides used in it's production.

On the topic of uses for hemp, I bought hemp milk today. Very tastey and it's one of the non-meat protein sources (the hemp seed, that is), that, like soy, contains many of the necessary amino acids that other non-meat substitutes (other beans, etc.). The milk contains all.

I love using hemp as a material. It's more durable than cotton and it has so many other uses!

Random fact: Hemp used to be required to be grown when the US was in it's early stages (colonies/after the civil war) because of it's do-all ability. I mean, we can eat it, wear it, write on it, drink it and of course, the more common use for it now a days, smoke it.
