My Signs

My Star Sign is Scorpio, in fact, in three days, I'll be 21, so i might have to make a birthday thread or something for that...

As for my chinese horoscope, I am an Earth Dragon! RAWR! (I forgot to put my element, and i supposed to be level headed...^^;)

I don't necessarily believe in these things, having studied metaphysiological things, i know that predicting the future makes it more 50/50 as to what happens, on certain things, like love, money, and such...but on predictions using methods like Tarot cards and Crystals to see death or outlook in life as a positive or negative in the near future, that can be very accurate.

A lot of it depends on how the person read decides to look at their readings...choices change everything, though we may all have the same fate, how we get there is still a matter of choice.

I can also do palm readings, and have found that to be the most accurate of 'predicting' methods. I don't practice that much because my Father is a Pastor, but i at least know how to do it...

Also, predicting for yourself is a major no no. That is just giving yourself an excuse to do things because your mind is not only working the reading, but working what you want the reading to say...so no self-predicting!

On the other hand, I find horoscopes to be very vague so you can pretty much fit them to your current situation, and though some say that is a hoax or bull, having something to relate to can be very valuable in a moment when you feel all alone.

So, as to whether or not I believe, no clue, I just know what i know.

Kamarie~Logos 11-13-2009 04:25 AM

I'm a Sagittarius, year of the ox. And I have the personality to fit.

Aries born in the year of the Snake (fire snake ?o_O)

Personally i don`t belive in horoscopes, because they are not worth attending to. They work only in cases of active life, with often changes of places. And when you going only at the same places there is no chance that you will get what horoscope said. I`ve tested it myself :|

Lixlaria 11-13-2009 09:28 PM

Leo-Ox

Not sure that I really believe in horoscopes but I think that if you read them you can always pull something from your day that relateds to them so I cna understand why some people would believe them.

rurutia 11-13-2009 09:59 PM

I'm a Capricorn and Born year of the horse...just in case is a horse or an capricorn you might like to read this and if your not you still can read it.

Chinese Zodiac - Horse

Personality Occupying the 7th position on the Chinese Zodiac, the Horse symbolizes such character traits as strength, energy, and an outgoing nature. Extremely animated, Horses thrive when they’re the center of attention. Always in search of a good time, Horses keep the crowds happy with their humor and their wit.

Horses are extremely intelligent so they’re able to grasp new subjects with ease. They’re also capable of multi-tasking however they don’t always finish what they start because they’re forever chasing the next opportunity. Horses are honest, friendly and open-minded. They’re perhaps a bit too centered on themselves and have been known to throw tantrums when situations don’t go their way.
HealthHorses are very healthy, most likely because they maintain a positive outlook on life and because they’re athletic. Lead Horses to wide, open spaces and watch them run free! Horses will usually only feel ill when they’re trapped inside.

CareerHorses enjoy positions in which they can interact with others. They aren’t fond of taking orders and they’ll run from jobs they consider routine. They’re able to grasp new subjects with ease making them capable of handling most any job. They’re effective communicators and they enjoy power. Good career choices for Horses include: publicist, sales representative, journalist, language instructor, translator, bartender, performer, tour operator, librarian or pilot.

RelationshipsHorses, being spontaneous, have a tendency to fall fast and hard for others. They tend to give themselves fully in each new relationship a quality that ends up chipping away at their inner being. Fortunately, this exhausting trait mellows with age and relationships are stronger and more stable later in life.

Horses and the 5 elementsMetal Horse Years 1930 and 1990 – Free-spirited in every sense of the word, commitment is the easiest way to scare Metal Horses away. They prefer jumping from one relationship or job to the next. Because of this, Metal Horses make better friends than partners.

Water Horses – Years 1942 and 2002 Adaptable yet indecisive, Water Horses have a tendency to flow like the current. They have trouble making up their minds and as a result, they always seem to be confusing others. And although this behavior can be frustrating, Water Horses are fun to be around so most people just get used to it.

Wood Horses – Years 1954 and 2014 Stable and strong, Wood Horses are better able to make decisions. They interact well with others; a trait that enables them to have more successful personal and professional relationships.

Fire Horses – Years 1906 and 1966 The fire is always burning inside Fire Horses. They love living on the edge and are always ready for change as change always is more interesting. They are incredibly opinionated and one place you’ll never find Fire Horses is standing on the fence.

Earth Horses – Years 1918 and 1978 Earth Horses will work to meet their goals, no matter how long it takes. They’ve got the ability to view situations from all perspectives and this ability is especially useful when it comes to making decisions. They’re very adaptable and they’re funny too.

CompatibilityHorses are compatible with a Dog or Tiger and incompatible with a Rat or Monkey.

Capricorn

The sure-footed Mountain Goat can climb to higher altitudes than any other mammal. And you sure-footed Capricorns are also well-suited for climbing. Capricorn sets high goals for yourself and then you overcome whatever obstacles may appear between you and the top of your personal mountain. As Capricorn climbs the ladder of success, your ambition pushes you forward. Status can be important to Capricorn and often, at the top of your game, you gain personal satisfaction by knowing that others respect you for what you have accomplished.

Capricorn can dance out on the edge of a cliff, but will never fall. Why? Stability plays an important role, but so does practice. As a typical Capricorn, you may appear reckless, but chances are that your actions will have been very well planned, and probably also rehearsed. Capricorn is always calculating what will happen if you do something. You Capricorns are energetically conservative, only expending enough to get you to where you want to be. No silly impulsive actions for you. This is your best insurance to get to the top of the mountain.

The Capricorn motto might be Milton Berle's "If opportunity doesn't knock, then build a door." But this doesn't mean that if there are no mountains to climb that you must build the mountain. For you, hardships can be your path to fulfillment, but for the sake of happiness, it would be good for you to learn to appreciate what you have, instead of always striving to reach the next plateau.

Element: Earth
Earth signs are naturally practical. In this lifetime we are bound to Earth. There is no escaping the reality around us. The Earth is about as real as it gets; it can be felt, weighed and it has substance. Accordingly, the earth signs base their life on what is real, not what is imagined. Sensation is valued over thoughts or feelings. Earth signs live with their feet on the ground. Others seek their advice because of their basic sensibility. For earth signs, seeing is believing.

The earth of Capricorn is that of foundation and structure. It's about having a stable base so we don't build our life on shifting sand. Even the great mountains earth, and if it weren't for their foundational integrity, we couldn't climb upon them.

Tenth House: Career
The Tenth House is the House of the Father. It is where we pursue the outer world, which is often related to our career. This isn't about our personality. It's about how the outer world sees us through the role we play in it. It is here, in the Tenth House, that we look to find out about status and recognition.

Key Planet: Saturn
Saturn, the ringed planet, is etymologically tied to the word "Satan." But, as demonstrated in the Tarot, the "Devil Card" is not a bad card. It's only difficult if we've made the deal with the devil that we believe the physical world is all there is. Saturn is the planet of boundaries and limitations. If we succumb to those limitations, we are doomed to live within the laws of cause and effect. But if we do the hard work of spiritual practice, we can be rewarded by the wisdom that exists beyond the material plane. As the key planet for Capricorn, Saturn does symbolize that we get what we deserve. Take shortcuts in life and we'll meet up with problems later on. But if we do things with integrity, then the rewards will be ours.

Capricorn Greatest Strength: Your ability to overcome obstacles

Capricorn Possible Weakness: Too much work and not enough play

I'm an Aquarius. x)
And I think I was born in the year of the Rat.

whitebeast 11-14-2009 02:14 AM

I'm a Water Cancer and a Fire Rabbit.

I kind of believe in my zodiac signs since they kind of hit the nail right as to what sort of person I turned out as of late. xD

Not to mention when I found out my elemental inclination they were both fire and water.

Though my sempai says that I'm not just fire and water but I'm boiling water, meaning a blend of both.

o.o;;

guibin 11-14-2009 02:30 AM

I'm a Capricorn, or if you're using the Sidereal Zodiac, a Sagittarius. And I'm pretty sure I'm a Boar using the Chinese Zodiac.

Raeillieagh 11-14-2009 10:51 PM

I am a Capricorn, but I was supposed to be a Sagittarius. As the Sidereal Zodiac goes, I am a Sagittarius. But as the Chinese Zodiac goes, I was born in the year of the Dragon.
