Although I fit the stereotypical Pisces model (AKA hopeless romantic/dreamer), I am a bit skeptical.
If you look at most horoscopes, you'll see that many of them are very vague and generic. Anything found in them could be applied to almost any situation.
Like it could tell you that you have been stressed lately - um stressed from what? From work, school, from your parents, siblings, friends, lovers?

And astrology is one of the things I both believe and disbelieve in. Obviously it doesn't work for everyone, and yes there are a lot of generic statements within the signs that can apply to everyone. I think the way it really works is psychologically. It was so strong in the past simply because at a young age a person would be told what their sign was and how it affected them. If they believed it, they'd start behaving that way.

Different example. The brain is a pattern recognition machine. If you're driving down the street and you tell youself, 'Geez! All I'm running across are red lights!' you're probably only going to notice the red lights and not the green lights. A red light will be the only reminder that you're always hitting red lights.
So, then, with astrology, if your friend is a Taurus and someone says, "Man, you are so stubborn!" then everyone's going to equate the stubborn moments to your friend being a Taurus, regardless of how often or rare those moments may be. Your friend may even proceed to be more stubborn because they were told they should be (whether they're more stubborn consciously or not is not something you can tell.)

Sooo, I half-believe in astrology.

About the whole christian thing, I completely agree! I go to a christian school and I'm forced to church every sunday. I can say that it really used to be all about god but then I realized that nobody there really followed what they "believed". Then I slowly began to realize that I didnt really believe any of it anyway lol... it was a scary feeling at first 0_0
