So I've spent the entire day tearing my house apart looking for two games. Fallout 3 and Rockband 2. Two band new games that were gifts done MISSING. The disk for fallout has been missing for a while.... we just realized it the other week when we opened up the case and found no disk :stare: I went to go play Rockband today and can't find the case anywhere. I am very organized when it comes to my electronics. Always in one small area, this one being by the TV in a cubby. If they aren't there they SHOULD be within a four foot radius.
I'm pissed :angry:
Now then to the discussion. Have you ever lost valuable items for no reason? They're there and then gone out of no where? Have you ever suspect thievery? And have you ever found a valuable item after weeks/months/years in the strangest of places?

ahh that sucks DX
yeah one time I lost my keys...and I couldn't find them anywhere!!
no where to be found. I destroyed my room, and yet i couldn't find them...I destroyed my house. I looked everywhere even in my shoes. Without my keys I couldn't go out cause I was home alone..., so I decided to leave anyways so i ended up finding my keys outside my door on the front steps. DX
I was looking for them for an hour, and it just happen to be on the steps.

Well, I've never lost anything actually valuable, but I lost a personal item that I really loved. I had a dragon pendent that I wore everyday. The chain I wore it on tended to open up sometimes, and one day I was walking along and realized my chain was hanging open and the pendent was gone. I lost it at school after walking across to the other side of the building so there was no way I was going to find it. But I guess it was time for it to move on, because I actually found the thing on my elementary school bus, like four years prior to that. Maybe someone else is wearing it now.
Other than that I've never really lost anything of value.

I lost my favorite pair of earrings a few years ago. I had worn them at my fiance's parent's house and I forgot where I put them when I went to bed. His mom and I searched the whole house but we never found them. I think they got buried in the carpet. T_T It was kind of sad, but I've gotten over it.

I have a silver cross with green stones in it that my dad, who I rarely see, gave to me. It's very dear to me, and I thought I had dropped it in the woods near my house once because I saw the chain had broke. I combed through the trees for ages in the cold, enlisted the help of my friend, but to no avail. Bawled my eyes out, a rare occurrence for me. Then about a week later... I found it stuck in the strangest spot. It had somehow dropped into the lining between my pocket and the inside of my jacket when the chain broke... :shock:

All the time, they disappear somehow and once its gone, its gone forever. Sometimes I get very very lucky and find it again, but most of the time, I lose it and its gone for good. And I'm not organized, but I do not lose a whole lot of stuff :D
Its pretty interesting how chaotic I am but yet, I manage to find what I'm looking for most of the time hahaha

Yeah, I've had stuff like that happen to me all the time.
And THEN, a week or two later, when I'm not looking for it, I end up finding it, and its in the most obvious hiding spot, in plain view. D:
Its gotten to where sometimes, I'll make myself believe I'm not looking for something, just to see if I could find it faster that way.
I have yet to be able to prove my theory. xD;;
