Have you ever gone through your room or gone through old files on your computer and just start laughing your head off at it because of how old it is?
I remember conversations I've had with friends at diners about 90's cartoons and how we had the best compared the junk they have nowadays. We all laughed our heads off when we realized some of us still remember the theme songs to our favorite shows.
Just now I'm clearing music that I don't listen to anymore on my computer and I'm finding things from '03 that I barely remember. I can't believe that I listened to this stuff XD It's hilarious.
I've done that with clothes, stuffed animals, and little trinkets too in my room when I clean. Like those gold plated pokemon cards that Burger King had for a while? That was the ONLY time I ever went to Burger King when I was a kid because I hated beef XD

I go through my video collection some times and just stare at these strange movies I have acquired, unfamiliar names with no nameable actors in them and a predictable plot line, and I can't in the slightest figure out how I got them, but I love them sooo much ._. :heart:

I found a diary I kept from like 2003-2004, it had some shitty poetry and crap. I want to go back in time and punch 10-11 year old me so hard.

Ohh time, give me back my Freakazoid, Doug, and ThunderCats! ;__;
*cough*
One of these days my mom made me look at old drawings. The ones from when I was in pre-kinder. Sheesh I was so pathetic! Good thing I know how to color in the lines instead of across them now 8D

It's funny that you mention it as we got both of my stepkids to sit down and watch aDarkwing Duck and Animainiacs. My stepson loved Darkwing Duck, while my step daughter loved Animainiacs. We're thinking of it being a possible Christmas or birthday present to purchase the series for them.
As for old files on the computer....I remember finding some old old pictures of when I was back in highschool on the computer and thought wow what happened there. Since I've moved out though I haven't really kept the same computer for any great length of time so I haven't found any other discoveries.
I don't have any old journals unfortunately, as I left the only one I wrote in on a normal basis in England and my ex has probably trashed it. Most of my belongings I had were left in England, as well as my clarinet from highschool, and I pretty much had to try and stuff as much as I could into two suitcases and bring it home with me. While I was gone from home my mother did some serious cleaning of any belongings left. She kept my yearbooks, and I've gone through them to look at people I use to hang out with and read their comments they wrote in my books. Some of them wrote phone numbers. I'm almost tempted to try and call them up and see if I can track them down. I have a couple of people on Facebook that I use to hang out with...
Ohhhh the biggest 'blast from the past' came from when someone I haven't seen in over 14 years sent me an invite to his facebook!! I haven't seen him since he was 10 years old and now he's 24 and it's like that cute little boy I knew and grew up with is such a hottie. Wow! I got the shock of my life! :P

I can't say I've ever started laughing over something old I found unless if it's one of those things where I smile to myself and slightly chuckle remembering all of the fun things I used to do with it//all the good times I have shared with it.
Like my stuffed doll I used to plot the end of the world with, his sole enemy was my best friend, and many a night I spent confiding in him my secrets.
I miss that doll. ;-;
I left him out in my back yard during the rainy season when I was fourteen-ish and he mil-dewed, and I thought I was all grown up now so I threw him away. .___.
I wish I could go back and slap me. D':

Reading old roleplays that I have saved on my computer makes me all nostalgic. Most of it is really crappy, but I still miss that days when I just sat around and roleplayed with my best friends.
It's kinda funny looking at my old sketchbooks and how I tried to make all my characters look so cool, but they didn't really look that way at all! My old writing makes me laugh and cringe in horror at the same time, it's so pathetic and not very coherent at all.

I found some of my old comics I used to make when I was seven or eight.
My oldest one I think, was started when I was five. It's called Ugly Puppy & Smelly Cat. xD

Well I don't laugh at them, but I can always remember back when I first got it and be like "Oh I remember this!"
It brings back old memories. :)
