ok you know how in movies you see these teenagers do extremely stupid things in the movies when the killers in their house. and everyones like no dont do that do this. well i want to know what would you do?

i would either leave or if i couldnt hide, and if i couldnt do that id probably just try to killl thm first.

If there was an actual killer in my house I would just go into one of my families 3 bedrooms, each with a wooden box hidden in it containing a handgun for self defense purposes, then I would use my cell phone to call the police and report an intrueder, then just sit and wait for the police to arrive, if the killer stumbles upon me I will have a bead on him until the cops bust open my door.

Probably to the same standard as Leath. Except if someone was going to cause myself, or anyone else in the house harm, or had already. I would have no issue killing the intrueder. It takes a lot to actually take someones life. Though, if you know this persons intent is to kill you. You should try your damndest to get past that barrier and take them out.

Hmm. Well I'm not a teenager. I haven't seen the latest horror movies but the classic ones, the bad guys don't seem so bad, just that they have perserverence when the people run away or do stupid things. Those guys don't seem really hard to kill.

If it was just me in my house, and I didn't have anyone else to worry about, than I would probably just slip out my bedroom door that goes out to the side of the house, run over to the neighbors house, and from the safety of their backyard call the police. I really hope that if a situation like this ever arrives, that my dogs will be in the backyard. I wouldn't want someone to kill them because they are barking at him.

run for life or call the police. i wouldn't dare hit him b/c i mite kill him &then i'd end up going to jail <_<

I would make a lot of noise and try the phone. I would also try to get out of my house.
If some half naked chick is running down the street, I'm sure someone would call the cops. xD

step 1: grab kitchen knife
step 2: insert knife into kidney of assailant
step 3: call the police
step 4: (optional) take your knife back from his bloody back

I'd go apeshit on his ass. Id try to fight him AFTER I called the police.

For me, I guess it depends on the situation. Am I at my mom's house or my dad's? What time of day is it? Is anyone else home? Which room am I in? Does the killer know people are in the house or do they not know where I am?

If I was home at my dad's house, in my room and the killer was downstairs, I might be in some trouble even knowing someone was in the house. My room's in the attic, so if the person came in silently I wouldn't have any idea they were there since there's a floor between us.
If I was already downstairs on the computer and I heard someone come in, I would grab the home phone and run out the front door. I can't leave through any other door since the side door can't be opened without a key (which we don't have) and the back door is just too confusing to open. You have to lift it up (the hinge is broken) and turn the lock to a 90 degree angle to open it.
If someone came through the front door, I'd be in trouble xP

Probably lock myself in my upstairs bathroom with my phone and call the cops.... With whoever else was in the house, nobody gets left behind.

If that was not an option, I'd grab a baseball bat, round up anyone in my house/collect weapons and confront whoever it was.

Depending on the weapon the killer had... I'd obviously hide if s/he had a gun. Unless my family was endangered. :O Then I'd go crazy on them D:<

If you ever get a chance. You should watch the movie "The Strangers." It is a rather new movie that came out, I would have to say last year. It changed my perspective on this topic when I saw it due to how realistic it seemed versus the normal horror flick of the guy that wont die.

If there were anyone I didn't know in my house, I'd lock my door be extremely quiet, put my pet rat in my hoodie and climb out the window. Then I'd run out side grab rocks and throw them at my parents window in hopes of awaking them up. ._____.'

But I most definitely wouldn't do what most people do in the movies, I think sometimes those people are a little mentally ill.

It really depends on how serious the situation is. But of course I would call the police first. If they don't arrive in time and he is armed and dangerous I would incapacitate him/her with either my father's hand gun or a blunt/sharp object.

Um. I'd probably panic. I'm not a very good thinker when I need to actually use my sense.

But assuming I'd actually have my wits about me, I'd try to get out of the house. If I couldn't, I would, hopefully with my dogs and cat in tow if I was able to get them without risking getting killed, lock myself in a room (preferably my mother's bedroom, because if the killer got in, there's an attached bathroom to hide in, and also there's a phone in there). From there, I'd lock and baraccade the door with whatever I could, and grab the nearest weapon-like object, and call the police. Perhaps I'd try to climb out the window to get out, but that could take a while and could end in the killer waiting for me.

I'd dress up as an attractive lady killer, a la Bugs Bunny, and when he leans in for his kiss, i'd chainsaw him in the face.

I would run to my room, and I would open my window. xD After that, I would crawl out onto the roof. Right outside it is the roof, and I can walk on it. xD After that, I would go to the side and crawl down the side of my house. :3 ( Spider Man! Spider Man! O: )

I would run into my bedroom and lock the door. Then I'd get the shotgun from underneath the bed and load that sucker and pelt the killer if he manages to break open the door. My daddy always said to aim for the largest part (the midsection) so I shouldn't miss. XD I'm a bad shot. Hopefully, I'll have my phone with so I can call 911 too.

Oh gosh, I'd be so scared though.

Call the cops and try to leave. If I could not leave try to hide, if that fails, I think I might try praying. I really hate that my apartment has only one door, and is second floor no fire escape.

I would go into my bathroom with my new cell phone and lock the door or I'd try jumping out the window.. Course in these two rooms not many choices.

I'd grab my sharpest knife and move very slowly and quietly to find them, and I would attack them until THEY got out of MY house. :D
Sounds stupid, I suppose, but I'm not exactly one for hiding in the corner. I'm a fighter. Of course, that's assuming they don't have a gun, which most killers that break into your house in the middle of the night don't. If they did (and I knew) I'd probably try and get out one of my dad's guns. He has four and I know where the keys to their cases are. I'd try and wrest the gun away from him if I knew how.

One of my parents friends had a burgler get int from the balcony and she met him in the living room. Not fun.

I'd grab the nearest object, no matter what it is, and use it to bust open the screen from the window, then jump out.
I might sprain my ankle doing so, but it's better than being stuck in this small apartment with a killer in here.
Then I would run as far as I could, having my cellphone with me. When I was sure I was far enough away, I'd call the police.

My demonic dog would jump on him/her, distracting her while I pull out the quarter staff I have in the back room. And I am not joking, I have a quarter staff, full wood and hard as hell in the back room. Or Ill get the bamboo sword used for kendo. Hell, I might grab my Katana just for the intimidation factor >:]
