See now, I'm writing a post but suddenly my internet jumps to a new page (technically speaking it moved back a page in the thread but counted as going forward to a new page on my Mozilla)

First of all I'm thinking it's a hacker messing around, maybe some kind of spyware, but then I play with the keyboard a little bit and realize I can go backward and forward a page by clicking Shift+ Left or Right.

I never actually knew I could do that, nor have I ever looked for that kind of shortcut. But it surprised me, xD

Anyone ever discovered something this way?

Well I was using this mouse I'm borrowing and I never payed attention to the extra buttons when I accidentally bumped one and I started going back a page. 5 minutes later I realize those buttons went back and forward >.<

I don't remember what i was looking for, but i was pressing things around my keyboards and the windows switched around. O.O
Like my internet would go to my messenger. ;D
I messed around with my keyboards for a good few minutes and I finally found that Alt+ tab switches the windows you are on.

I still haven't figured out why, but whenever I accidently hit random buttons on my keyboard, a new window will open up of the same page I'm on.

When I was using an IBM thinkpad laptop I used to accidentally turn the Dvorak keyboard on - I have no idea HOW I did it - and my friends that I told and showed when it happened couldn't figure it out either. One of them kept saying that I wasn't supposed to be ale to do whatever it was that I was doing >.<

There are these times when my keyboard just randomly turns French on me (like it replaces the question mark with a capitalized E with an accent, for example) and I have to learn how to work my way around it (when keyboard goes french, Shift+6 is the question mark o_O). And then when I FINALLY learn what all the keys are, it goes back to English somehow.

lol i make random discoverys like that sometimes, i found out that pressing print screen while playing angels online or maple story takes a picture.. i was so dumb to know that xD i thought the game was freezing or something!

Happens to me all the time. XD That's how I discovered Alt+Tab and win+d and win+l and...a lot of things really. I never pay attention to keyboard shortcut guides so it always surprises me when something randomly happens while I'm pressing keys. It's easier for me to remember if I accidentally find out though, rather than if I read a list of shortcuts. I mean honestly, who reads those long lists of all the things you can do with your keyboard? I'd rather just use my mouse than read that, and then randomly run into shortcuts and be all like, "EUREKA!"

Like how I found shift+enter on various IM clients. Kay, I'll stop rambling now. XD

lol. Yea, I stumbled upon a way to change the font size with the mouse and keyboard. I was on myspace and was scrolling down to check which friends were online and the page kept warping. So I was like, "Wtf?..."

So after a while I found out that I was accidentally holding the ctrl key while scrolling to change the text size. I was so relieved that it wasn't a random glitch xD

I would be browsing and it would go back and i would be like " What the heck"
It would be annyoing sometimes because I dont really look down when I type
So I didnt know what button I pressed xD it would scare me sometimes.
