So, it's the end of the week (for most people), what do you guys do when you get home from school or work on a Friday? Are you totally ready to let your hair down, shake the dust of the week off of your heels and have some fun; or are you looking forward to completely vegging out and recharging your batteries?

When I worked shifts, getting home on a Friday afternoon meant just one thing for me, nap time! Kind of pathetic how much I'd be looking forward to it by the time 2PM Friday rolled around too, I couldn't wait to get home for my date with the sofa. Falling asleep was like some kind of bliss..

When I was younger I'd get excited about going out clubbing on a Friday night. I liked going out on a Friday night because it seemed to make the weekend longer (unless I spent half of Saturday in bed with a hangover of course xD)

So what do you guys look forward to the most as your working or learning week is ending?

Every other week I work on Saturday so to me Friday is a big tease on those weekend (like this wekend)

On the weeks that I have off Friday is my night to stay up late watching movies, playing video games, and just generally snuggling and hanging out with my Chris. Sometimes we'll go out to eat - but we're trying to save money so eating out is off our things to do list right now

Friday means pizza and soda and hanging out with my sisters. :D Sometimes it also means no parents for the night which is pretty snazzy. But it also means my heaviest course load for the week. D: Bah, it's sad. Oh and we try to get to Tae Kwon Do too~

Friday was yesterday for me but when it rocks around I am so happy. Mainly cause we get out at 12.30 on Fridays, I normally come home and start bludging and either get on the computer or I watch t.v. It is like a day off and makes up for working all Sunday almost.

Friday for me means vegging, staying up late reading, and sleeping in! <3 Some days it means coming home from a sleep over, or others it means lounging because I feel worse then crud. This Friday for me, however, taunts my poor, aching calves. Because tomorrow I'll most likely be doing a lot of walking from store to store as my mom and I shop. D; So... it promises sore feet and mom time. <3

This semester I have a class at 10:00 AM on Friday so I have to wake up around 9:00, which is just too early for me. So as soon as I get home from my class I usually end up taking a nap the rest of the afternoon. So my Fridays are mostly a waste. x_x

Fridays are pretty much the same as any other day for me, really..
I do exactly the same thing every day. (Yes, I'm aware of how boring that sounds. Because believe me buddy.. it is boring.)

I don't really get the chance to do anything else with my time.. -gonk-

Mmm Friday. Fridays are usually BS and School-tests days, so getting through the day is a huge pain in the ass. It feels incredibly nice to go home and be able to sleep for 4 or 5 hours.

Pay day! xD

Usually Friday means starting work early, 7.30am, and finishing early. When work finishes, I am lugging a bag and my laptop bag to the bus stop to stand in the sun for thirty minutes while waiting for a bus that takes me to the train station. Then it's a nice lazy, sleepy two hour trip to see my boyfriend. Alternative weeks, when I leave work and take the bus to the train station to meet him coming here so we can go grocery shopping for the weekend supplies.

Lately though, Friday is a day off as my boss has decided to have the factory closed every Friday as we are having a slow time right now... damn this economic crisis, eh. I love long weekends but this means I am down $80 to $100 a week. :gonk: My boyfriend and I are only seeing each other every two weeks now too so we can save some money.

So this weeks Friday was very quiet. It was raining so I could not go out. On the other hand, it meant I found this site so that was good. :)

Friday, to me, generally means work sadly, which sucks. When I don't have work, I'm either playing snake or the Sims 2. *drools*

Friday is just another day to me.
Right now I don't go to school or work, so it's not much different than any other day.
So I don't have much to look forward to. o.o;

Friday for me means "Wine Friday".

It's something my hubby and I have done together since we were at university; Friday night rolls around, and we both stay home, watch a film or play computer games, and drink wine until we both turn into ridiculous, giggling idiots.

It's kind of gearing up for a fun weekend and relaxing at the same time.

I veg out for a bit. If it's nice weather i'll go outside and amuse myself somehow. Basically i'll do anything that involves forgetting about my workload for a day or so.
Yesterday, i spent the afternoon with my friend, who i'd invited to my house for a general moan fest. We had a laugh.

Actually the weekend comes earlier for me and its usually thursday when I get back from my long day of classes and I get home and just feel like I have free time! Though I get bored easily, I usually just love to spend time by myself on fridays. There are times when I end up doing my work or just lay in bed being a lazy bum playing pokemon on my dS all day, which is what I had been doing so far today until I decided to switch my computer on to see whats going on in Menewsha.

I do look forward to spending the day with my boyfriend on Saturdays though. Its always our date day and all my friends usually know that. So I look forward to the plans we have and what we would do on Saturday since we always spend the whole day together. I plan what we would have for our meals and all too ^^" Sometimes its always nice to look forward to things that aren't our usual routine like going for a small road trip or going bowling or something. Generally, I just look forward to having some time off and seeing him in the flesh since all we get is Skype all the time ^^"

If we don't have plans, I usually look forward to lazy days or what I call 'Quiet Sundays' I love to look forward to time spent alone and just walking around the house doing nothing. And since I have a pretty hectic university life with constant assignments being thrown my way, quiet sundays are very relaxing and I get very irritated when people intrude on them ^^"

On Fridays I work in my school library as a part of community service and when i get home i like to eat right away since i don't get very hungry at school XD That's more of an everyday ritual of me eating when i get home from school though and today since i'm on break i'm just going to chill here..

That sound wonderful!!!

Chris and I used to do stuff like that . . . but now it's usually a move and a beer or two . .. I should get back into drinking wine, it gives the most wonderful mellow buzz after just 2 glasses

siaasgn: Yeah, especially as wine makes us both so talkative after the initial mellow feeling, so after a few glasses we end up ignoring the movie and just talking to each other, setting the rest of the world to rights.
It's great for chilling out and then getting silly in the same night!

It's the one thing I've really missed the most over the past nine months (pregnancy down-side). :(

Friday to me means someone is getting paid - Aaron and I get paid on the alternating Fridays, so there's always money hitting the bank. Every other Friday is usually when we pick up the kids, so that's always a major event in itself. Most Friday's we're picking up the kids I'm truly looking forward to it. Normally the other Friday is worked so it feels just like any other day of the week.

Right now with Aaron's schedule so messed up I'm sort of loosing track of the time. I can't wait for things to return to normal.

Oh and lately I haven't been having many days off from work -- normally if I have a day off it's because I couldn't physically get hours to work or the kids are here and I take a day off to relax and spend time with them.
