I got a text once that said, "Hey babe, I'm really sorry about last night. I was so wasted. If you want I'll come over and clean off your couch."

i received tons of that kind of calls
best thing you can do is simply forget what happened,
there's nothing to be worried about
somethimes it happen to dial wrong,
somethimes they just make jokes
and jokes have to remain that way, no need to be worried
believe me, i know from experience ^^'
one day, they actually called me saying that is the police calling
(but they called me with secret number, so i knew it wasn't real ^^')
other times, they sad someone in my family suffered an accident which really pissed me off and i started say ... well... ya know what words
i got pissed off, but those guys just have a lot of free time to spend ^^'

I never answer the phone unless I know the number. I have gotten some interesting messages though. Once, I played back the recorder to hear this very angry woman start screaming, "Don't you talk to my husband like that you -insert profanities-! You do that again you -more profanities- and I'm going to call the -profanity- cops! You hear me?!"

There is also some company that keeps calling my mom that has this little recording asking you to hold. Well, when her answering machine picks it up, the recording takes this as an actual human picking up the phone and holding. So, she gets the last half of that recording, a couple of seconds of silence, then someone saying, "Hello? ...Hello? ...Helllooo?" And then they start getting pissed off thinking someone is ignoring them. "Hello? Ugh..." They get that grumpy undignified grunt in there and then hang up. xD

It's funny, though sometimes I do feel a little bad that they're getting all upset thinking we're being jerks when it's really just the answering machine.

theres 3 different numbers that usually phone me, i tend not to answer them anymore.

All I ever ever experienced was someone called me and told me he had fun last night with me in pub.
I put the phone on loud speaker as I was study with my housemate
Both of him and I were shocked cos last night I was actually at home :O

I get people dialing me with wrong numbers a lot. D: I don't answer for numbers I don't know anymore.

But a few years ago, there was this freaky guy. I've no idea how he got a hold of my number, but he was basically phone-stalking me and it got to the point where I was asking to have his number blocked.
Basically, he would call and say all sorts of disgusting sexual things. At first I thought it was sort of funny, so I talked to him for a little while. But he just kept calling me, over and over, and after I shut my phone off he left me tons of voicemail about how he wanted me to bear his children. I think he was some sort of sexual predator, because he was "seventeen" and supposedly went to a high school that doesn't exist. This went on for about a month. Out of the blue, I'd just get a call at 5:00 AM from this guy. D: People are so unpleasant.

I got a phone call from an anonymous person once. I really don't know that guy but he knew my name! He also knew my phone number and address! o.o I was totally freaked out. From the way he sounds, he sounds like a green-minded guy. He asked me if we could meet some time and stuff. He said that he would want to visit me. I was so freaked out but luckily, he doesn't call me now. Phew XD

Gah, I always get odd area codes. I haven't tried looking them up as of yet, but I get them nearly twice a day. And it's never the same area code, and it's never the same one day to day.

I had prank calls like that before. They are annoying.

Argh..i hate when that happens. Once this guy called me and he was singing a song to meh O_O;; it doesn't happen a lot..they always call when i'm in school for some reason. so i don't call them back. But they leave mii weird Voice Mails.

I find most people who have wrong number phone calls are weird.

I used to get calls from a restricted number all the time. And then when I would answer, nobody would say anything. So I would hang up. And they would call back. I just started ignoring it.

Well it happened about 5 times a day for a few months, and as it turns out it was the crazy ex of my (now ex-) boyfriend. She just didn't like me so she would harass me. But I didn't have any proof that it was her so I just had to get my number changed. :(

One time my grandma was the weird caller. She kept calling "me" because she didn't know that I had changed my number (from the above experience) so when that person finally answered, my grandma sat there and had a conversation with the woman! Haha.

It was the other way around me an my sister found a number on craigs list from this guy named Jabar who said he was looking to have a sexual affair with married women and everyday we would call him an say were talking from a pay phone an bullshit with him an he got annoyed and then a few weeks later when we called him again it said that he changed his number. HAHA!
