We already have a "favorite animal" thread so I am merging this one with that one.

The last post, prior to the merge, was from two months ago, which probably put it on page 5 or beyond :/

Are we really expected to go through every single page to find what's been made? And then necro it?

My favorite animal is the bat :).. I have always liked them since I was a child.. I love em so much I have a tattoo of one :)

i like cats. my most favorite one is the white tiger. i like it because it is rare and i love the black and white. i like cats in general because they are so independent and they know when you need them to comfort you.

I like White Tigers because I think they are beautiful and strong. I also like Wolves because of old lore and they are actually shy creatures. Last but not least Barn Owls because I think they are adorable and it is what David Bowie turned into in the movie The Labyrinth.

I really like giraffes, okapi, and sand pipers. I just think that giraffs and okapi are really geourgous, and sand pipers are really cute. I just reasentely even found our what a sand piper is, and ever since i found okapi (about 4 yrs ago) I've loved them. Giraffes, I have always loved.:insane:

My favorite animals would be cats and foxes and maybe platypuses.
Cats because they're fuzzy and cute.
Foxes because they're sly and cunning and I can identify with that.
And platypuses because they look weird.
Always liked all of them.

You should do research on white tigers. I"m sure what you find will shock and appall you.

My favorite animal is the cat. They're wonderful creatures and every one that I've had as a pet throughout my life has brought me joy. They're there when I'm sad and want affection just when I really need them. And generally they know when I'm pissed and stay out of my way.

My favorite animal is the cat! I've always loved cats and I feel so inspired by them. I treat my kitty like a queen, just as the ancient Egyptians would.

My favorite animal has to either be cats or foxes. I love most of the feline family. xD
I'm not really sure why exactly, they're just so adorable and soft. They've been my favorite since I can remember, too.
Cats are just so easy to be around (as long as you don't have a psycho one.). I spoil my cat to death. x3

Wolves are my favorite animals. I'm not really sure why I like wolves, and they have always liked wolves.

As much as I love adorable little balls of fluff, and despite my username, my favorite animal would have to be snakes, definitely. Specifically, Brazilian rainbow boas and banded sea krates. I was born in a Snake year, like my mother and her mother, and they've just always meant a great deal to me. I also think they're absolutely beautiful, with some of the most striking markings in nature, and their skin feels amazing. As far as symbolism goes, snakes are said to represent wisdom, medicine, and sexuality, which are all quite good things :P And they often are used to represent the fear we humans have of what we don't understand and the parts of our souls that we don't like acknowledging. That's very meaningful to me on a personal level.

I love cats to death. not literally really!! Tiger and leopards specifically. And of course wolves because they are such beautiful creatures that were once so misunderstood. And cats are so interesting in the Chinese zodiac stories. Leopards are just such gorgous, sleek, strong creatures!!

I love the platypus species.

1. They have posinus stingers under there arms.
2. The plural form of platypus is platypuses :P
3. THEY LAY EGGS BUT THEY ARE MAMMALS!!!
4. They have duck beaks and beaver tails.
