You all know what day it is! Weed Day! Also Hitler's birthday. But that last one was besides the point. Who here actually goes out and has a joint?
I'll probably go to my friends' later. They're having a party. Do you smoke weed? inb4 no it's harmful. There have been no deaths recorded that were related to marijuana yet cigarettes are legal, which have caused millions of deaths. Discuss ^ |

Weed is so extremely bad for you in every way of your life… Not only is it an inefficient way to get high, but It damages your lungs twice as fast as cigarettes because joints are not filtered and they still coat your lungs with tar… also not to mention that they destroy your social life too. You often loose friends, family and others that care about you to this bad habit. And don't go writing me off as being a goody-two-shoes, I’ve smoked before I know what it does and I’ve also had to see the pain it cased my family when my parents found out that my brother was smoking… It single handedly started the destruction of my parent’s marriage and my brother’s life So please… THINK before you do it |

I don't smoke, and I can't stand people who smoke either. But I feel that if cigarrettes were banned from the market and weed introduced I would have one thing less to worry about xD |

I can't believe there's even a thread for this. I can't stand pot or regular cigs. I mean c'mon! It's so bad for you, not to mention the reasons Demon posted. I know people who smoke, and it honestly caused me to like them less and less. One of my friends started to smoke and she's been centering around it and partying 24/7 now. She makes me sick. It's honestly a chore being her friend now. |
I think this should be taken to the hangout in the Mene Nations subforum. Considering that younger people view this site and (while yes, it is something that basically everyone knows about), it seems it is somewhat being encouraged here in this thread. Unless it's to just discuss it (pros [possibly health related-/cons [and again, health related]), I don't think it'd be a big of an issue. But like I said, this thread only seems to encourage it in the use of an illegal manner.

That would explain why half of my class was missing today.
I personally don't ever want to get myself involved with drugs. I don't want to miss out on chunks of my life just so i can say "Man, I am so high" I do think I should have watched Harold and Kumar today rather than watching it over the weekend. |

Yea, I am not a smoker of any kind nor plan to do it.
Just another way to have an excuse to do that. I have seen people smoke it and it does not look good through my eyes. |

I think it should be legal, although I don't do it. Cigarettes are way worse, as you stated, they've caused deaths. Plus I think that if weed were legalized less people would actually want it.

Wow this topic has gone completely no where. It doesn't matter if you don't smoke it's just a day the ones who do enjoy and call their own. sadly yeasterday I wasn't able to celebrate it. The economy is killing my wallet.

How was your 4/20?
Mine was pretty fun, same stuff as usual went down. I live in Vancouver, so I spent the day outside the Art Gallery, came back home and took a walk/went to the water park with some friends of mine. A pretty great day overall, and was certainly much more fun than having done to school. How was your 4/20? Did you do anything special?
