Have you guys ever been ghost hunting?
So at work I made this idea (because me and my boyfriend always like doing this stuff) I asked one girl if she wanted to go ghost hunting and she said sure, she knew of this haunted asylum in warwick, rhode island. So she said we were going to go there next week that we should make this plan to go an invite people at work an see who wants to go. We got at least 10 people and were all gonna go next week on tuesday after work. Were gonna drive 45 minutes to the next state in this abandoned asylum that was made in the 1800s. Its supposed to be the most creepiest place in the world in Rhode Island. And were just gonna like sneak in, some of our friends are gonna bring the equipment around 10:30pm were gonna sneak in an see if its actually really haunted. There are like 40 floors and there are wheelchairs an they say that the lights flicker and crap and they see shadows an hear noises.
Have you ever went ghost hunting an where did you go?? Tell me what happened? Do you believe in spirits? |
I want to go to San Diego to go see the Whaley House.
It is the most hunted place in the US. I do believe there are spirits in this world of ours. I have encountered a few of them in my life. My mother and sister also have seen ghosts too. I can scene them around me and sometime I can see them. |
Hello~~
I'm the Vice-President of a college-based paranormal club, PSIUP. I do believe in spirits, but I've never seen one in real life. The best advice I can give you (other than not to go; I don't know if sneaking in is such a good idea because you can get in BIG trouble) is take a lot of pictures and make sure ANTI-SHAKE is TURNED OFF on your camera if it has it, and bring with you at least one voice recorder so you might be able to catch EVPs (electronic voice phenomena) with it. My club has been to a few different sites and most of what we catch are EVPs... pictures are actually -VERY- rare, because unless the "orbs" are very bright AND moving, they're probably just dust particles... If you want to see the evidence we've found, it's on our website here. Just in case you were curious to hear our EVPs or see our pictures. ^^ Good luck on your ghost hunt though! <3 |
I believe in them, alright. I used to live in Beacon, New York. And there's a this asylum right up the road- Craig House. This place is sick, my friends and I have seen white lights squirming in the garage through the window, one of my more sensitive friends saw shadows moving up the staircases on the second floor outside. I've seen things in the pool, we've heard loud banging on the windows in the chapel across the grounds...
Then there was somethin wierd. One of my friends knows the place really well and it's history. And she said that the pond out back of the chapel was where they used to drown bastard children because it was a sin to be a bastard. I was standing about 30 yeards away from it and the next thing I knew I was about to walk right in, standing on the edge of the bank with my friend Rena grabbing the back of my shirt, calling my name, asking me what I was doing. The minute I get out of the car and step on the driveway, my stomach sinks. There's something not right there. Good luck ghost hunting. Sounds like fun. :) |

I have been ghost hunting and it was scary and so much fun!
The first time was with my mum, we went to the Whaley house in old town San Diego, it's on the U.S. registrar as the most haunted house in America, and I did have a ghostly experience, but I posted the long ass story in another thread about ghosts. Since then they have renovated and don't go as in-depth about the house's bloody history which makes me really sad. The second time we stayed at the Hotel Monte Vista in Flagstaff, Arizona. It was a blast, they give you a list of all the hotels hauntings (you can see some here; http://www.hotelmontevista.com/ ). We didn't find any that time but I didn't sleep a wink because of one of the stories about a little boy ghost who people see standing at the end of their bed in the middle of the night. I don't know why, but I find child ghosts way more creepy than adult ones. I don't think I'd ever go to an asylum though, there's just to high a concentration of human misery in places like that, I think the energy of all that pain would be overwhelming. |

Okay, no I was just asking. I dont think I would want to do it though. The only thing is that this asylum is abandoned but has some security so best thing for us to do is sneak in, I'm just afraid if we get caught I can just say that we didnt know without going to jail but we will see.

I never have. But it would be interesting~ Tell us how it goes?
What exactly are Ouija boards? o_o I never seen one here, so I was wondering what are they? And how would you know whether it's the spirit thats making you spell out those words? XD |

I believe there's a right way and a wrong way to use oujia boards. I'm against them unless you really know what you're doing and everyone involved is aware that things couldgo very wrong. I've used them before but they can open gateways to evil things.
Please NEVER burn a oujia board. I've lived in a house where this happened in basement. Do not EVER do it. |

Why musn't you burn Ouija boards? '^'
@Rennakins;; So they basically like a board, and you call a spirit? In a group? Does it work without a group? Also I was wondering, can you just write the alphabet on a piece of paper, and use something to guide it. Does it work? Sorry. Trying to figure out why people make a fuss over those boards. XD |

There are reports all over the paranormal online community of all hell breaking loose. In the house I lived in... The easiest way to put it is that I saw hell in that house. Demons out of the corner of my eye, sick twisted images. Maybe I'm just nuts. But that stopped when I moved out. Animals just died for no reason in the house- pet rats, cats, whatever went into the basement. The basement's where it happened with the previous owners of the house. Even the family ferret died down there. There was nothing found wrong with them in autopsies. No neurological problems, no vitals problems, just died. We've expirienced doors slamming shut hard enough to splinter the wood and voices screaming down there. Maybe it's all coincidence... Or in our heads... But something's up there... And just last week I hear the current owners lost their pet rat to the basement. They'd put the cage down there just to clean the house and when they went to bring them up, it was bleeding from nowhere, going into seizures then died. |
Oh my god thats scary! No I never burned one but I threw it away.

They look like this. |
Oh. :O! That's what they look like! They look kinda freaky. Sorry. Just had to say that. ;___; It looks like something you shouldn't play with. ><
|
Yea thats what they look like, you never seen them before?? Thats a suprise most people know what they look like!
|
Yes, I did. I saw one white lady roaming around but my friend, who has a third eye, saw way more than I did. Not that I hope to see them though. x) I never tried Ouija Boards. They scare me. >.<
|
I find it disgusting that Toys R Us sells oujia boards as a bord game and makes it out like a family game... They're going to screw over alot of people... =\ Next thing you know, they'll be adding fake money to it and calling it "Fortune Teller" or something... It's horrible...
