Where do you all work an any funny work stories you guys have??
I have been with Wal*Mart for a year and 6 months..funny yeah.. but you know I dont like the store at all but its the only store around here thats doing business right now an they spend 2 million dollars on a remodel thats going to be done like 10 more days. We got a 2x larger electronics section and 75 freezers in the food department with more more food its not a supercenter but it looks like a larger walmart taking out the bakery an anything else we have soo much food now, because those departments are the big money making departments so they made them the only two big things in the whole store. All the other departments got moved around so they arent where they used to be, some departments got shrunk like fabrics and crafts, some of them got less aisles like my toy department thats where I got moved to work. I used to work in toys at my other walmart before i transferred to this walmart here to live with my boyfriend out in massachusetts. So they put me as a cashier and i worked as that for eleven months each month they promised to move me but couldnt they had to wait till the person who was in toys moved so he moved to electronics which is like level 5 an you get a dollar more pay then what you get on the floor. So I moved over to toys finally when I opened my mouth talked to the boss an the assistant manager and now I have the toy schedual. I love it! Its less stress then being cashier where they yell at you an tell you to red line. augh!!!! so now i can do whatever i want, i can clean when i want, i can help people when I want i have to wear a walkie talkie just to hear if there are any calls on my department, which now they made a new rule you can only page becuase they got in trouble for paging over the intercom because of the noise of the store cuztomers wanna hear their 'music' an cuz of noise pollution.
And so I dont have to do much but i get payed a little higher then the minimum wage cashiers do because I have been here longer. But its good because i get alot of hours an no one is getting laid off an i hope to god now. but there are alot of funny stories an since i work in toys an had the experience from my last store I know all the latest toys that come out an everything..
haha im sorry for ranting but yeah thats what i do, how about you guys where do you work??

I work at an Arby's... I have a ton of funny stories from there and when I worked at a Wendy's, but the only one that really comes to mind is the time when this old lady came through the Drive-Thru and said she had a coupon for our cod meal, and she wanted coleslaw on the side... I had to tell her that we were sorry but her coupon was for Long John Silvers, not Arby's... T-T

I work KFC. It's really fun especially with our managers. One of them likes to shove ice down our backs. D: She's really immature, but very serious when it comes to the work. I remember there was one time, there was this customer who complained that the chicken was too 'oily'. My manager on duty at the time, muttered under her breath. "Duh, after all it's Kentucky fried chicken." XD On another occasion, me and a cook got into a mock argument. He wasn't really angry with me, but he said. "Want me to throw this piece of chicken at you?" (he was holding onto a piece of chicken with the tongs at the time.) I told him, "Sure! But one shot yeah?" He looked at the piece of chicken for a moment, before he said, "You can't move alright? You can't dodge it or anything ok?" I just nodded, and waited for him to throw it at me. He looked at the piece of chicken again, before he shrugged and put it back on the rack. "It's too good of a piece to be wasted." XD

I work at Starbucks. I pretty much hate it, due to the ornery business woman. At least the business men tip well.

I love the people I work with at my store. I work with alot of high school kids and alot of people in their 20's. But they are all like kids an they gossip about eachother its like im in high school all over again an there is the old people who are super nice an some friends you can trust not everyone. But I always hear the funniest things that happen. Our customers are all hobos or ghetto looking. And they are all clueless an can never find the bathroom never know where it is.

I'm in the US Air Force, working on the C130 Hercules engines and propellers. It's pretty cool, but I get really dirty all the time, and the chemicals we work with cause cancer.
I have tons of funny stories, but seeing as how I work with almost all men, I think all of them are pretty much too mature for a lot of the users here.

I work at the service desk and photo lab of a grocery store called King Soopers. I don't know about funny stories, but it's a pretty fun place to work. The service desk is in the very front of the store, so we have a great vantage point to check out cute male customers. And of course the hawt firefighters that frequently shop there. My boyfriend works there too, but he's a meat cutter, and the meat department is on the opposite side of the store.
@KH4Life
I used to shop at Winn Dixie when I lived in Mississippi. :)
