I don't like bugs but I hate to kill them, they have life too. That's why I just put them outside.

I used to scream when I was young but nowadays I just flick them off... And I got stinged once by a bee behind the ear, it hurt A LOT! But the teacher didn't believe me! :( And I stayed with the pain, after a couple of min. it didn't hurt that hard. I defeated the pain and moved on... |
I can not stand spiders. I can't get near them without having a panic attack. I don't scream or anything but I just have someone else take care of it for me. Almost anything else I can deal with.
|
I have to confess that on occasions I'll scream over a bug. I only scream if the bug is absolutely massive, though.
Like, say, a two-inch mosquito. Which we get where I live. :gonk: (Technically they're "sand fleas," but they're still up to two inches long, suck blood, and look like mosquitoes. So yeeeah. o_e; ) Other than that? It's either "Get it off! DDD|" or even...just shrug and go about my day. Even with cockroaches - which I absolutely despise. It's weird, though - I'm too scared of cockroaches to even step on one, but they don't make me scream unless they're unusually large. But I'll squish one of those giant mosquitoes, no problem. I guess I'm just weird. |
I'm not quite what one would call a girlie girl, but nor am I a full on tom boy. I'm somewhere in the middle. :P Spiders don't make me flip out, but they make me uneasy. I'll admit to totally freaking out at the brightly colored ones the size of a quarter, though. But that's mostly because after reading enough nature books, I've got the whole "If it's smaller then a bird and brightly colored, that's nature's sign to STAY THE HELL AWAY I STING/BITE/AM POISONOUS." thing ground into me. e_<; All I have to do is remember that black widows and brown recluses do not, in fact, fully follow that guide line and that I do live in black widow country. Joy.
I stand up and run across the yard/sidewalk/parking lot/what ever I'm on if wasps are involved. >_> It only took being stung by those blighters twice to make me stay faaaaar away. As far as other bugs go... I don't bother them, they don't bother me. P: I'm more likely to be staring at them for hours if it's things like centipedes, ants, butterflies and moths, and the like. They just don't scare me. |
I don't mind bugs too much just as long they don't get in my mouth or splatter on my glasses. One time I had my mouth full of Mountain Dew only to find a wasp in it. I spat it right out before I could get stung.
|
I am usually a tomboy. I can deal with snakes, gators, bats flying around at me when I take my dogs out at night, but I will run and dodge like an idiot from a wasp. I hate those things! Why did winter have to leave?
I also have a problem with spiders and where I'm at, we have big Banana Spiders. Who love to make theirs homes in garages, in barrels, on your house, and in your home. Daddy-Long-Legs, I can deal with, but nothing that can actually bite you. Oh, and Black Widows must die! |
I'm crazily scared of wasps, but I don't scream. I tend to make a quiet, high-pitched noise then run away. It is a bit silly to deafen someone just because thye've seen a bug though. Apart from wasps I love bugs. If I see one on the floor I'll sit down and watch it for ages-I look a bit odd sitting on the ground in the middle of the pavement...^^; Also, whenever I find a giant spider in my house I name it. That started off with a giant spider whom I named Billy Bob Joe -after the duck abandoned me D8- but he drowned [atleast, I think it was the same one..] then Billy Bob Joe the second came along, untill my dog clawed at it, most likely killing it. The most recent is Billy Bob Joe the Third who lived on the bathroom curtain for a while. |
ROFL. Reminds me of that time in my reading class, these girls came in and all the sudden starting screaming and running and hiding under desks. Because of a ity bity fly. And they were worried it would land on their prepped up hair.
._. I don't get scared of bugs, I just don't like wasps/bee's because I'm slightly allergic to their stings. The only time I would actually "scream" if I saw a bug was if I didn't know it was there and I picked up a book or something then felt it crawling on me. Then that would be the time to scream in terror.:sarcasm: |
I really hate it when people do that too. I don't mind anything being on/by me. As a result i'm often called in to evict the unfortunate creatures. Rather that than have them killed by somebody else though.
|
Okay, bugs don't normally scare me but, the other day there was this really big spider and when I say big, it was like 2 inches long... and that's big enough to bite a human and make them sick with poison... well I was sitting in my room and it just crawled in my room under the crack at the bottom of the door and I saw it in the corner of my eye! I didn't scream like a crazy person but I did immediately say, "Oh my god!" Over and over again, and tried killing it for like 30 minutes, it kept hiding that little thing was uber quick!! It would run so fast that it freaked me out, I didn't think I could go to sleep if it was still in my room, i'm glad I finally killed it and could relax.

The only thing that makes me jump is spiders.
Especially when I find them in my bed, or my food, or my bathtub, or on the toilet seat, or in my locker, or on my laptop..... They don't really bug me much (haha, pardon the pun) when they're outside. Where they belong. Catching mosquitos, and wasps, which I hate. I like ladybugs, butterfles, crickets, grasshoppers, and beetles. They're crawly, and cute. Ants aren't all that bad, either. |
Ive never screamed over a bug, well.. when i was little but that's a different story entirely. i normally just go outside and let them go if they land on me.
|
Haha yeah I kind of dislike when girls scream about bugs and stuff like that.
((I had a friend that screamed over everything, like when the bell rang at school, I got so annoyed. -____-;)) And yeah. Spiders. I can sit and stare at a spider and examine its creepy legs. But then as soon as it goes running around all fast-like, I jump back. I might gasp or something, but no screaming for me. xD I hate beetles. Those big ones with the shells omg. Dx I'm just so scared I'll crush it and that's the most nauseatingly creepy thing anyone could ever do.. So if one ever came flying at me, I might actually scream, who knows. xD |
The only time I scream because of bugs, is if it's a centi/milipede that just COMES OUT OF NO WHERE AND IS HEADED RIGHT FOR ME.
And it's usually just a shocked squeak, nothing too fantastically horrible. XDD |
I scream when there is a bee or wasp flying near me. Well its more like a "Holy crap!" Then I jump from where I'm at, at the time and go quickly to the other side of the room. I'm highly allegoric to them though.
Other bugs don't bother as much, just bees. =3 Edit: P.s. I'm a not a girl. So go ahead laugh. xD |
i have never screamed over a bug... its pathetic that girls do that!!! i've only ever shouted "GO AWAY YOU HORRID THING" at spiders(not bugs.. there not bugs people)....
|
I haaaaate it when girls freak out a bug. I can only understand it if the bug is either really vicious or really poisonous. Then you can freak out as much as you want (so long as you don't act useless and get in the way).
'Sides, imagine how a bug feels? Something more than 200 times its size and shrieking and dancing away at it? Eep. There's only two bugs I don't like and get the hell away from - hornets (which seem to hate me. I get stung every time I see one), and silverfish. (Look those little things up. They... ARGH. Too many legs, and move way too fast. My old house used to have an infestation of those) |
The only bugs that I will scream about are bees and wasp. x:
|
Most insects I'm okay with, and I too feel that girls get way too shrieky when a little fly comes along. However, I run in terror when I see a cockroach. I don't know why I hate them so much. Once, there was a dead roach in the hallway leading to my bedroom. I tried, but I couldn't walk around it in the narrow space. My brother let me sleep in his room (it was near midnight) and I had to get my mom to get rid of it in the morning.
|
Ugh. You know those long, skinny centipede-like bugs that crawl from your drain or plumbing? I hate those things. They terrify me. My solution to them? Pour scalding hot water on them and then pour bleach down the drain to ensure they're dead. -Fist pump.- :sarcasm: |
haha I totally agree with the centipedes here. They scare me as hell.
Most of the time, I'm okay with insects like wasps, bees, ants... But I can't stand spiders.. I don't know why! put a big black beetle on my hand, I won't care. But with a spider, I'll run and go hide in a corner of my room! |
I don't mind most
but any bugs with more than 4 legs kind of creep me out. D: |
OMG cockroaches! I hate them they are big and crunchy and gross. A couple years ago i saw one that had gotten inside my boyfrineds house and it was on the wall. He told me that they can fly and I was like "Psh no they can't." So, he throws something at it to prove me wrong and the thing flies right at me!! I thought I was going to die.....I didn't scream though.
|
Wasps come back and sting you if you flick them off.
I run away and get help or stay away from the area if I see a bug that can sting or bite me flying around my head. I love beetles though, bees' too. June Bugs are my favorite 8D |
