I was wondering what you do to slow down Global Warming? Right now I'm saving a 100-200 square feet of Peruvian Rain Forest every 2 weeks, I recycle aluminum cans& ocassionaly other metals, and I walk to some places I go to.

We recycle everything we can at my house. I really don't go out that much and when I do, I usually go with my parents when they run errands if I need to get anything. Sad to say, I don't do much else. We still use paper plates and cups at our house sometimes. :O It's a hard habit to break.

Most of the normal stuff here
recycle, buy in bulk to reduce packaging, compost, drive less (only 1 car in our house, Chris takes the train or rides his bike), we pay for 100% renewable electricity, shop local and organic for our food
nothing disposable - we have cloth napkins, towels, and stuff like that
When we have a BBQ we bring all our dishes and silverware and cloth napkins outside and just wash them all.
All of our cleaners are natural, non-toxic, and biodegradable

I use Save the planet and Lil' green patch on facebook to play all of my flash games now. They donate money to save rainforest when you use them. I have also started eating a lot more poultry and fish and cut back on the red meat. Cows use a lot of natural resources and produce far more waste then meat. It's just a little thing, but every little bit helps!

I dislike the rainforest. :/
I don't like going out of my way to save the earth. I don't really care that much, actually.
I recycle because it gives me money, I walk everywhere because I don't have a car, I clean up the river because if we don't, it stinks like shit and it goes past my house. :/

I don't eat red meat, poultry or pork and I recycle everything I can. I also go out of my way to buy products that don't over package their products. I try to donate anything I'm no longer using instead of throwing it away as well. I bought a toaster oven to cook with because it uses far less energy to cook and doesn't heat up your house, which is important in Phoenix because there really is very little we can do otherwise to use less air conditioning in the summer. I also belong to several earth watch groups and support politicians that support environmental protection.
Even if you have never been to the rain forest, or spend time in the ocean, or enjoy nature you should understand that we need to take care of this earth. The majority (more than 80%) of the world's oxygen comes from the ocean, a vast amount of life saving medications come from components found in the rain forest. This earth takes care of us, we need to take care of it as well, now more than ever.

The only reason I'm saving the rain forest is that I like orange juice and the brand I drink gave me the means to help other than recycling. Tropicana and Cool Earth have joined forces to save a stretch of Peruvian Rain Forest along the border of Brazil. So far I'm up to 1,000 square feet. A lot of folks think a thousand square feet isn't much but in that small area over ten thousand lifeforms depend either directly on or live in the forest. The only Rain forest I've been to is one that covers the south part of my home state. It's mainly Cedar and Old Growth Trees. The Forest has been around since that section was a large Island in the middle of a Prehistoric Sea.

You can slow it down, but you can't prevent it, so I don't get why bother trying, sorry but there have been climate changes in the past, so I think it's just a natural thing, the only reason people are concerned about it because we have idiots living on the coast near oceans which will eventually drown under water.... no offence...
I recycle and yes, I do care about the environment, but at this point in time I see no way to prevent global warming so it makes me wonder why bother to slow it down? It's going to happen so let's just get it over with....

That's true about it being natural. But I do doubt your reason why people are concerned. You never lived through a Dust Storm.

I refuse to use aresol(spell check?) cans.
I like to recycle and I'm eating more economic friendly foods. I also walk home from school, since that's all I can do because mom is scared I will get abducted if I walk alone in the morning.:|

There have been natural climate changes in history, but never before in history has there been this many people on the earth, all contributing to pollution and climate change, it is our duty to counteract our negative influence on our environment, not to consume unchecked until we completely destroy our home. If anyone is to lazy or jaded to do something about it, anything at all, then they should do every one a favor and hold their breath until they no longer expel carbon.
And the reason I am concerned about it is not because I think people living on the coast will drowned, that's the most ridiculous statement I've ever heard. Do you really think that if the sea level rises and you live in the mid west it wont affect you? Maybe you should actually pay attention in science class, you might learn something about the delicate ecosystem and how one thing out of balance effects everything else.
