Lets see..I've had dogs, cats, ferrets, parrots, doves, parakeets, mice, rats, gerbils, guinea pigs, naked mole rats, hamsters, finches, turtles, fish, frogs, snakes..and I think thats it..haha. |
ok here we go lol
over the years we have had four guinea pigs we bought two girls (the albino one was mine!) and one of them must have been pregnant when we bought her besause a couple of weeks later my little brother came running up to mum with a tiny black ball of fur in his hands lol so i ran to look in the hutch and i found another one!!! they were so cute We had a gorgeous tricolour border collie until last year. her name was Sarah Jane III (my dad loves border collies haha) it was great because we live on a farm she had so much room to explore and run, it is 150 hectares of land after all lol Anyway a few years ago she had puppies! they were awesome they looked like guinea pigs when they were little and the way they flopped around and snuffled was gorgeous. we gave two away to locals and kept one. One of the ones we gave away got run over :( but the other one is fine last time i heard (she was my favourite :)). The one we had, Furby, was cute but really stupid. he had long black fur like his dad and he was such a ditz haha but we couldnt handle having two big dogs because we have a toy shop too and they would jump on the customers and frighten them. so dad had to put furby down. Sarah died last year, she was the best dog ever. It was so cute, whenever i was upset she would sit next to me and just put one paw up on my knee and look up at me with her HUGE brown eyes. I loved her to bits. She was out at our back paddock with my uncle who was chopping wood. She was hiding in the grass so he couldnt see her and when he cut a tree down she went to chase it as it fell..... luckily she would have been killed quickly so she wasnt in any pain. that was june last year, i still miss her. Dad, my brother and I all want to get another puppy, but mum doesnt for some reason, we are working on talking her into it :D Ok at the moment we have two cats, they are mine :) the rest of my family doesnt like cats My cousins cat have birth and there was only the two of them... They knew how much i wanted a pet so eventually my parents let me have them, becos my aunty didnt want another two cats, and i couldnt just take one of them, all i could imagine was one tiny kitten alone on a huge farm. and i have school so i couldnt always be there. Mum and dad let me have both! We brought them home in a box and they lived inside for five days before mum evicted them haha we have never had inside pets its amazing she let them stay inside so long! |
I currently have one calico cat, Luvs, and one rex rabbit, Momiji. In the past, i had a wolf, Domino, he was my guard dog lol A very large male calico, Fatcat, a little black cat, Snowball, a little gray rabbit, Thumper, and a mix dog, Bobo or Bear. (Yes she had too names lol)

I've always wanted to have a cat. I had outside cats at my grandmother's farm but that wasn't the same. My sister got one when she was in third grade. I was so jealous.
So the first thing I did when I turned 18 and Grandma moved to town...I adopted a kitten. Currently I have Two turtles, Sumer and Fall. I've had Sumer for 13 years now. I've had Fall for about 5 or 6 years. I also have a cat named Scribbles. She is my spoild, stupid baby. lol She just turned 3 years old. Gosh, the things she gets into. Growing up I had three other turtles (one was blind and died) the other two were just too big and were given away. I also had a calf Rusty, she had to be sold after Grandpa died. And I've had a but load of fishes. Three little feeder fishes I kept as pets lasted 2 1/2 years though. Aurthur, Guenevere and Camelot. I was at Hallmark Wed and I saw frogs! I REALLY want to own a frog!!! |
I HAVE A BETTA FISH named SEVERUS! :D He is super cute, lol! He's the only pet I can have while in college and the last pet I've ever had were guinea pigs in middle school, but my mom was allergic, so we got rid of them :(
I always wanted a cat, I love cats! But again, mommy allergic, so no pets. I also want a couple dogs. I want a sheltie and a yorkie :D They are so cute! |
As of right now. I have a Dog named Aaliyah She is a beagle.
Two cats named Jetta and Saskia Past animals i had this year. A bunny named Tsuki Four Cats named Yuna, Aphrodite, Shiva, and Audi A puppy named Remi I am about to get a bird. |
I absolutely adore animals, but sadly I'm allergic to anything with fur (which is why I can't have plushies either :()
But my house was like a zoo before I discovered my allergy xD I had two dogs: Luna, a black lab, living with my aunt now, and Slippers, a toy poodle, but I had to give him away. Those two always made my day. I remember that Luna had cancer or something, and was definitely going to die. Then we got Slipeprs and she was magically healed. I miss her a lot, and I often go visit her to my aunt's house. Then I've also had cats. Thing, Caramel and Sunday. All gone, though, because they liked to use my backpack and my mom's clothes instead of their sandboxes. And I also had a turtle, but had to give her away. And fish. But they died because my sister forgot to feed them. |
I have seven animals in total: A full grown German shepard named Xena, a pit puppy named Max, a mix named Walker, a flame tail named Skyler, a bobcat mix named Griffion, and two birds with no name.

I never had a pet other than the two ducks I had when I was little, but never any other time. The first duck was named Newspaper because it was black and white with a red thing on top its head. The second duck was named Pearl because it was all white. Newspaper was fine and didn't cause any trouble, but Pearl was mean and it hurt our housekeeper when she was cutting his feathers so it wouldn't fly away. Eventually they both flew away. And I never had another pet again.

Together, my fiance and I have six pets.
Two cats, both female. One named Pussy-Willow, the other named Lil' Puss. One seven-month old Dachshund named Nathan [yes, after Nathan's hot-dogs]. One five-month old Chihuahua named Delilah [after that Plain White T's song]. One three-month old silver and white Chinchilla named Pikachu. AND one adopted Ball-Python named Brommy. Our friend couldn't take care of him anymore, so we took him in. He's about four feet long. :heart: |
I have to lovely golden retrievers. They are both girls but couldn't be more different. One is huge. She's over 90lbs which is gigantic because she's not very tall and is probably the most loving dog I have ever met.
My other golden is much more aloof. She honestly reminds me more of a cat than a dog. Unfortunately she tore her ACL and had surgery not too long ago. Her one haunch is completely shaved and she looks like she got hit by a car. But I love them both sooo much. |
Cat
Well, I have an extremely adorable cat named Pekoe! She's orange and white and really fluffy! She follows me on walks and even though she scratches me sometimes I still love her!

I can't have any pets in the house, cause the landowners don't allow pets. Pets I've had in the past were mostly cats. The mixed breed kind. I had one named Sassie, cause she looked like that cat on homeward bound. My first cat, I was very young when I got her. I don't remember much about her. Cause I can't remember much from my younger years. I like to think that she looked out for me back then, maybe she did. The next cat I had was very recently, it's been almost a year since she died. A black cat named Midnight. She had a mean streak, but I loved her like with any pet I were to have. She had her good moments, and bad moments. She was real bad, like mean, in the middle of her life; when she got older she started to mellow down some. I never had any dogs though. We never could afford to maintain them. I've never had any good first impressions of them. My relatives always had dogs on my Dad's side of the family. They always got the dogs that would yip too much. They never bothered to train them either now that I think back on it. >_>. They were just everywhere, always making a mess of something or otherwise. Out of control, and spoilt. They always had the dogs that were toy breeds. The small dogs. Back then I guess I didn't realize it wasn't the dog's fault--I know now, it was the owners. Now I feel sorry for them, to be raised by people like them. There was this one dog that my Aunt Regena had, it was a Cocker Spaniel. Such a small little dog, I loved it. I think it was female, she was a cute little thing. I would have loved to be around her more if she didn't hate my Dad's guts with a passion. :lol: She looked similar to this dog: http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c2...aniel-0015.jpg Whenever she saw my Dad, it like she knew what kind of person he was. She would bark at him, nip at his ankles, and she wouldn't stop until he would leave. There were times that Regena had to hold her off in a room, with someone in it of course; until he left. I find this kind of funny now. If there were any kind of animal that I would love to have, for a cat it would either be an Egyptian Maul, or a Blue Persian. A dog, an Irish Setter. I've seen them before on tv and pictures. They are beautiful! Wow! you've had lots of pets! I've had some fat goldfish and now I have a cat. No, my cat did not eat them. My dad was cleaning the tank so he took the fish out and left it outside on "accident". It was winter so they all froze over... >.< I was only five then so I cried over them... :cry: Now I have my cat and over the years she's gotten lazy and annoying LOL. She's not fat though, which is weird. She acts like a dog. She drinks the water from the toilet, her left hind leg kicks you scratch under her chin, and she has to do her business outside. She refuses to go in her litter box no matter how clean I make it... She too much to handle... LOL BUt I lover her :heart:

Currently I have two cats, and three fish. <3
My first kitty is my baby boy Kio. He's three years old now and still thinks he's a cute little kitten. He's positively gorgeous and knows it. XD He likes to flaunt his beauty when he wants attention. Sometimes he'll even paw at the door softly just so you'll open it to look at him. :3 He's like a school boy with a crush. The second one is Angel, the overweight cutie. XD I didn't mean to make her fat... She apparently has made eating her fixer-upper for everything. When she gets scared, depressed, angry, hurt, etc; she goes to look for food. She's really sweet though. <3 Angel will come lay down with you if you're sick or have been crying. It's really cute the way those two interact with each other. Kio feels the need to protect her. (Even though I'm pretty sure she could just sit on whatever was scaring her and it would go away limping.) Angel's really clingy and needy, so they fit together perfectly. My fish are slightly more or less amusing. The first is Axel, my betta. He's a little moody. XD Depending on how his day's been going he's either very happy and active or very sad and reclusive. It's hilarious to watch him eat though. XD He attacks the food. The other two are Ren and Saevio. Ren's a pop-eyed goldfish with black-tipped fins. Saevio is a black moor. I decided to get them as a pair because while I was at the pet store looking for fish, they were ignoring the others and swimming in a circle together; head to tail. I thought that was just the cutest thing ever. <3 So I ended up going home with them. They still do that every now and then. Ren likes to chase Saevio around the tank. XD When Saevio gets frightened by something he goes to hide behind Ren. <3 <3 I love my pets. They're all too cute for their own good. |

When I was little we had a black cat and a springer spaniel. My cat had lived to be like 17 or 18 (human years), but she still died before I was a teen age (my dad had her from when he was in college). My dog had to be put to sleep when he was only 8 (human years again) because he had cancer :(
We got a new cat a few years after my old one died, she lived a long time, but eventually had to be put down too - she had been since with a tumor in her lip for 2 or 3 years and we had tried medication, which worked for a while, but after some time she just stopped eating and she just got horribly horribly thin (like to the point where she was fur and bones). So my dad had her put down, it's not fair for an animal to live like that, she had no energy to do anything, she'd just sit down in front of her food dish and stare at it Now I personally have two beta fish, one's 3 years old and slightly blind (had to switch to the flake food just so he could eat) and the other one I've only had for a few months and seems as healthy and happy as any fish normally is. There's a fish tank in the dining room, but something is wrong with the filter (none of us can figure out what) and fish die every time they're put in. The water PH reads fine, there's just something weird going on in it. We're sort of waiting for the last fish to kick it so we can just clean it out completely and maybe try again XD |

I haven't seen one on here but i'm curious
Things to discuss: Do you have a pet? What Kind of pet do you have/ have you had? What animal do you enjoy the most and why? ect ect. I myself have two guinea pigs, I very much enjoy them, they are actually pretty low matinence on my part which is nice and they are friendly. In the hosue i live in though we have 8 hamsters, which are rather fat, but they are friendly unlike the one at my old house was just mean. There are also four dogs. I love dogs but I personally, am a cat person and would love to one day have another cat. I miss the one I had for the longest time, and find them to just make the greatest pet for me. |

Currently: Hundreds of goldfish, a Russian Blue Previously: Two gray rabbits, goldfish, other fish, two Russian Blues At the moment I have a pool filled with goldfish.. It's a bit weird actually. Though I'm not sure I'd count them as my pets, they are just.. There. Technically, we had nothing to do with our swimming pool so we put in two fish and then the birds and the bees came buzzing. The one pet I consider my true pet is my darling Russian Blue (cat), 'Shady', he is such a neurotic nincompoop but he means the world to me all the same. I like most breeds of felines, though I do wonder what it would be like to have a pet wolf.. :sweat: |
Right now i have a Dog and a rabbit. hahahhaa.. I honestly don't like dogs that much. I prefer cats over dog ANY day. lol.
But my parents won't let me own a cat. So i got something close to it. A Rabbit... XD I named it Pochi and loving it! |
I grew up with many dogs...my mother loves animals. We had all kind of animals(dogs, cats, rats, mouses, tortoises, amphibians, bearded dragons, bunnies, guinea pigs, bird spider, snakes etc.) xDD So I am really used to take care of animals and I learned a lot about their characteristics. x3
At the moment my boyfriend and I have 3 rats :3 The black one is named Pixel, the white one Ophelia and the black/white rat is called Muffin x3 Pixel is our favorite rat! She is sooo cute and nice and very foxy. Ophelia is a little bit dumb xD But cute...and she is very a glutton. Muffin is a little bit sneaky...but we love them all x3 In the future we want to buy 2 cats...but only after our rats are dead ._. My boyfriend want a white female cat and I want a black male cat x3 My favorite animals are...hmm...cats, corbies and ferrets...I am like a witch*haha* xD Hmmmthe worst pet? Don't know o_o° Ah!!! Parrots! They are sooo loud <_< |
Critters
I have 2 stray dogs I took in.. I have Buddy, which is a chow-chow lab mix, and Gizmo, the pitt lab mix.. I also just got 2 Betas last night.. I haven't named em yet.. Gonna see if they last more than 3 days LOL..
