Depends on what has been going on that day---sometimes I can fall asleep within 30 minutes of laying down or it can take about an hour.
If I am really stressed out I can hardly sleep at all :-P |
It normally takes me a hour or longer to fall asleep.
Lately, it's been taking me forever to sleep. I'll go to bed at twelve or one in the morning and not fall asleep until three-something.
1ce im in bed im like dead asleep...it usualy takes me like 5 or 10min lol
It usually takes me well over an hour... unless I'm really tired... then I fall asleep within minutes... but I'm a bit of an insomniac so the first one happens for more often. ^^; I'll even try to sleep sometimes then suddenly hop out of bed and start organizing random things in my room or just pace. xD; Its pretty bad...
It takes me a long time to fall asleep everywhere but my Mom's house. I have a bed there that literally sucks your energy away, I swear. xD;
It generally takes me so long because I just can't shut my mind off. My body will be beyond tired, but my mind just won't stop thinking. It can get really annoying, and it tends to make me cranky. |
I suffer from insomnia, which is costing me a lot of sleep, only sleep well when my body asks me to sleep which is usually very rare mind
I don't know if that is normal or not, but it takes me forever to fall asleep when I'm in bed. Like........... an hour to five hours or something. One time, my eyes opened straight 6 hours, and I didn't even feel tired, but then I forced them to go bye-bye and go to sleep... cause I had to; and if I didn't I'd be up 24/7..
Well, insomnia runs on my dad's side of the family. Basically, I'm up all night. I'm usually unable to fall asleep until 3:30AM-4:00AM, regardless of what time I went to bed. |
Hmm
With out my medicine, I can't even lay down I'm too restless. With my med.s...I'll be out solid before I even lay down. xDDD |
^ Hahhhh. Ever take Zopiclone? I get so high off it. It's fricken hilarious. I once walked out of my bath and apparently wandered about naked because my hair was supposed to look cool or something...? So lucky I only live with my mother, haha.
I take several hours to fall asleep. I also pee 4 times an hour and once an hour past a certain point in the night, so I'm constantly up in the night. |

Mine just get you sooo dopey, like right away too. It hits ya like a bag bricks. xDDD Its totally funny like the first time I took it I was like "Oh I'm Ooooookaaaay, Iiiii juuust want to siiiiiit heeeerrreee." Oh god it was too funny |
Haha you should see my mom after Zopiclone.. fun-eee. She starts a sentence about one thing and mumbles off in her own little world about something else.
On average, it takes about an hour for me to fall asleep. It varies based on whether I'm thinking a whole lot, what happened that day, what's going to happen the following day, and how tired I am.

Lately it's been taking me four or five hours to fall asleep. Even if I'm extremely tired, and I have a hard time staying asleep or I wake up feeling like I didn't sleep at all. It really sucks.. I miss being able to fall asleep fast. =/
It can take me hours really, I usually just end up lying there in my bed staring into nothingness, Thinking about things like 'Three years ago, I saw this teddy-bear in a shop window. I should of actually brought it. He was so cute.'
Most of the time, it takes 5 minutes for me to fall asleep. But sometimes it takes 30 minutes to an hour.
Longest time I've laid awake is probably 5 or 6 hours. If I'm really tired I fall asleep in like 5 minutes... When I have a lot to think about, it takes me about 2 hours or more to fall asleep. I find that music or a book/audiobook helps me to fall a sleep though, so I usually read or listen to something before I go to sleep.
Well, I am someone who has some issues with sleeping, so I'm hardly one to compare to, but on a really good day it will take me around an hour, on a bad day, it can take me up to five to fall asleep. It really seems ot depend more on the temperature in the room and just how many things are spinning around in my mind at the time.
It depends. If I'm particularly exhausted after an active day or something, I'll fall asleep very quickly, around 5 or 10 minutes. Usually though, I'm not very active, so it takes a long time to wear myself out, let alone fall asleep. It often takes me about an hour to fall asleep; it's always been particularly annoying when I'm sleeping around other people, because I'm usually the last person to fall asleep. >__<
It always takes me at least half an hour to fall asleep, and I usually wake up sometime in the middle of the night and lay there for about an hour again trying to get back to sleep.
Then when I try to sleep in the daytime, that really doesn't work out, because I can't sleep without complete darkness. |
I fall asleep usually in about 5 to 10 minutes
Oh geez.
Depends on my mood. The most it's ever taken to get me to sleep is like an hour, unfortunately, but it's usually because I have too many things on my mind and I need to journal it all out. Otherwise, other times, I could like just pass out if I'm laying down if I'm really that tired. Or if I've taken the Theraflu medicinal tea things. If you ever have a cold or the flu, seriously, that stuff works for knocking you out. That's the first medicine I've ever had that actually made me fall asleep within an hour. |
I think that's pretty normal. You're probably just not tired. I've never actually had problems sleeping before. I pretty much fall asleep the moment my head touches the pillow. Lol. But then again, I'm a sleep addict and I can sleep ANYWHERE at ANY given moment. |
