So, what are you up to? ... I'm in the shower >.>
Okay, so, most days during the summer, I'm home alone. So, when I decide to take my daily shower, I take both my cell phone and home phone into the bathroom with me, just in case of an urgent phone call. Anyways, sometimes, I'll get an unurgent phone call, and truth be told, despite the fact that I know the person on the other line does not realize I'm in the shower (I turn off the water and vent before answering the call) I still feel awkward when talking. :roll:
Anyways, discuss awkward phone calls, awkward times/places of phone calls and so forth. ^^ |
Shower.
Wow, I don't think I'd ever interrupt my shower to answer the phone. Unless I really thought it might be important. But I don't take long showers anyway, and I take them at night so there's only been a few times that I was the only one home. I also take them pretty quickly, so if someone does call, it won't be that long before I could call them back. It just seems like a waste of time to turn the water off and get out of the shower and answer the phone, and then the person is going to have a conversation with you, and when will you finish your shower? By the time you get back in, you'll probably be all dried off by then. That would drive me crazy. :XP

So it's still wet, drippy and steamy. I don't really talk too long to dry off, either. I often take 5-10 minute long showers. I'm not big on taking forever in the shower. Try to be considerate of the others in the house that need the water. :P |
I take very long showers. But I'm also the last person to get it.

My ex-boyfriend always seemed to call me while I was just about to get in the shower, just getting out of the shower, taking a bath or having a 'good time' with myself.
Always. And it's not like I took showers at the same time each day. I tried doing it at odd times so I wouldn't have to get out of the shower to answer his call or ignore him and miss his call. But noo, it never failed. |
Nothing interrupts my shower. Not even out-of-control banging and shouting at the door.

There is no way in hell my phone would work in my shower. My phone gets absolutely no reception at all in the bathroom. It's pissed off my boyfriend several times when I had my phone charging in there and he was trying to call ;]
But even if it did, I never would interrupt a shower just for a phone call. I don't even bother going out if I'm just out of the shower and finishing getting ready. They can leave a message. |
I've answered the phone while asleep and didn't even realized it. My mom told me I was rambling on about pineapples and zombies. It amused her but, I don't remember. xD; It just makes me think "What kind of dream was I having...?"

I for one would never interrupt a nice shower to answer the phone. I very seldom answer my phone half the time anyway. I am not one of those phone people. Yes I do screne my calls.

Uhh yeah. I don't usually get calls from people, because my friends know I hate talking on the phone and most of the times I don't even pick up. o3o I do take it in with me at times and it feels really weird. I've texted while in the shower because I was meeting up with friends and it's annoying. D:< Having to turn the water on and off and dry my hands to ensure that I don't fry the phone. I don't tell people "uhh i'm in the shower" ever. If my mum picks up or something, she just tells people I'm not in. Period. xD I don't want to give people mental images... you know?? D: |
One time, my fiance was working a theater show. I was hanging out at his place with a bunch of our friends waiting for him to come back. There isn't a lot of seating so some of us were laying on the beds. I was laying next to my bff Noah and my fiance called to tell me he'd be back soon. He asked what I was up to and I said "Just laying in your bed with Noah"... then I realized how that sounded.

I'm home all day in the summer, too. D; I have no life. Anywho, I take really long showers. :] When I'm at home alone I don't get in until sometime in the afternoon. I like to take my time. If Im in for a long time (with someone else home) and someone knocks on the door to tell me to get out, I just shout "I'm on my own time," or "I'm going at my own pace," They usually leave me alone, muttering to themselves. |
lol that happens to me a lot. I take about an hour to get ready to go out, so if I'm short on time, I'll take the phone into the bathroom with me. It's also just as awkward when I'm out of the shower and looking for clothes and I get a call.
I think the weirdest phone situation I've been in was when I was in bed with this guy I was dating, and my friend was calling. My phone is usually by my bed, though I ignore it when I'm busy... he told me to answer it while he continued :o lol I opted to text my friend back later instead. |
