Pocketwatches... What do you think??
I didn't see this anywhere so, pocketwatches....
What do you think about them? I like them. Are they only a guy thing or can girls have/use them too? I think both can have them. Which is better, covered or open? I like both. Also do you have one? I do, as a matter of fact, I'm working on a collection of them. |
I love pocketwatches but sadly have none. It seems everytime I have enough money for one, they're either gone or the price was raised.

Try going to yardsales. I got my favorite pocket watch for five dollars at a yardsale in Manhattan, NY.

(Randomest topic ever :XD ) I never really felt the need for a pocket watch, but i think their really cool. Whenever i think "pocketwatch" my mind pops up the picture of the rabbit in Alice in Wonderland with his cute golden watch...good times...

two guys in my english class last year received them as gifts in our gift exchange and i was jealous because all i got was a regular clock :C |

I LOVE POCKET WATCHES! I gave a silver one to my gf as an anniversery type of gift.. well she's an ex now, but we had awsome pocket watches and they're the most awsomeest accesory other that top hats!

I HAVE one. :3 I got it for a penny on ebay. Like, five dollar shipping though, but it's still amazing!

i don't like watches lol i have a cellphone
who needs a watch and a cellphone? but to answer the question pocket watches are pretty nifty cause some are pretty detailed and what not. |

I love pocket watches. I think they are very dashing. They remind me of the victorian era, in which is my favorite time period. My boyfriend used to collect them (until he realized that college was drawing closer and he was in dire need of a license and car...) and I think that's what got me so attracted to them.
As for me, I prefer how the closed watches look. Something about a man casually pulling a watch from his breast pocket and flipping it open to check the time is attractive. |
I would love a pocket watch. Though, whenever I think of them, I think of Doctor Who. I'm so weird.

I haven't seen anyone (man or woman) wear a pocketwatch but I think they are cool just the same. I don't see anything wrong with a woman wearing one (I would personally anyway).
