Have you ever done something then wondered...

If it was the right thing?

Like, say you walk over to a homeless man, and give him some money, but you don't know if he's actually homeless, and later you wonder, "Was I right to give him money? D:"

My "Right thing" is...

Once during 8th grade, we had a huuuge project due, and if you didn't pass, you'd flunk the year. So, I was supposed to do a comparison between crawfish, and lobsters, other then the obvious things. So, I spent three days with her to do it, and I do all the work while she piggybacks. When we turn it in, we get a D because she didn't do anything, and I didn't tell the teacher. After that, I wondered if it was right, for me to get an almost flunking grade, just because she was my friend.

Man, I would have told the teacher if I was in your position...

My story is this:

When I was in the 11th grade I moved to a new town and didn't have any friends. I sat next to another girl in Spanish and we hit it of right away. Now at the time I knew she was a lesbian and I didn't really care. But one day she asked me if she could could borrow some lunch money because she forgot her money. Now I only had money for myself to get a sandwich and a few candy bars but I didn't really care if I ate that day. I gave her my wallet and expected her to take what she needed.

She gave me a huge bear hug and ran away to buy lunch. Turn out she only bought tons of Gatorade and no food with ALL of my money... and after that there were rumors going around that I was her girlfriend. It didn't help that she was super clingy... After she stole 20 bucks from me I stoped talking to her and was able to convince people that I didn't swing that way (they weren't discriminatory, but they loved to make fun of me for "being in denial")...

I woulda made her pay me back. Why should she use your $20 on drinks, that she probably gave out and not pay you back? All she asked for was lunch, not her own personally gatorade fountain. I hate it when people pull shit like that. :< "Oh hey can I borrow your money to buy lunch?" I used to let my friends borrow money, instead of getting lunch, they'd get treats. She always wanted salad, which, in my opinion she should have gotten because she was extremely overweight. (Not bashing becasue she's fat, but becasue it's not healthy. D: )

...Now that I think of it, the one who borrowed my money was the one mentioned in the first post...

That sucks about your twenty bucks. ):

I do stuff all the time that I question. I often don't think before I speak or act. U^U
Like, I'll end up saying something totally rude or offensive without meaning for it to be. But then I make an idiot of myself by explaining what I meant. :(

Yeah, I do it all the time xD

I'm a young mother and I'm always worried about how people view how I raise my child and my morals so I always get petrified if others think that what I teach my child and what I don't allow him to do is right.

I know I shouldn't worry and be confident, but I'm so sensetive on other's judgements.

I've done the same before; it's a terrible feeling, isn't it? Working with friends can be the greatest or worst plan for group projects.

These days, I'm not shy about telling someone to pick up the pace.
