No box spring that is held above the floor is safe.
At least not around my cats.
They've done this with ever bed at my mom's house and my dad's house. You know that sort of gauzy material underneath the box spring? My cats make little lofts and hammocks out of them to sleep in. They absolutely love that area underneath.
I don't think I would care so much if they hadn't done it to all of the beds. (we've had at least four beds come and go, aside from the first one they destroyed) We've even tried taping the gauze down, but that doesn't work.
Our cats are on a mission. D<
For my cat Harry, the little loft underneath isn't good enough for sleeping in at night, he'd rather sleep on my neck and face. And he is HEAVY.

Hey Vomity. :]
My cat likes to attack my feet when im sleeping in the middle of the night...I tend to wake up angry and throw her out.
But its funny when she greets you at the door...Kinda like a welcome home type thing. Haha. =P

Hello darling. :]
My cat, Koby, used to do that. At the time I was also sleeping on an air mattress. That didn't last very long.
That's cute. :] Our cats never do that.

My insanely fat cat does that.
Our obnoxious younger one likes to lay down on my work, and eat our atlas. He also likes to lick our soap, paint, and lay in the sink while you try to brush your teeth. :sarcasm:

I have a cat that's obsessed with biting toes. If you walk into a room with that cat without socks on, she runs over and tries to attack your toes. It gets really annoying, because this cat is extremely persistent in whatever she does. She also continuously jumps back on your lap if you push her away the first time.
I have another cat that always wants to come in my bedroom. She goes and sits in her basket or on my backpack like she plans to stay for a while, and I always get up and close the door. Normally as soon as I close it, my cat suddenly decides she wants to leave, and she walks over to the door and paws at it so it moves back and forth and makes an annoying sound until I get up and let her out of the room. Normally she does this in a time span of about three minutes.

Aw, my cats used to do that with that thin gauze-like part under the couch. They'd go hide in there. As far as annoying, I've had a cat pee in a toaster before. We had to get rid of it, obviously. My dog likes to attack feet. If he gets in a playful mood, he'll start biting ankles and toes. It kind of hurts.

My cat likes to sleep at the top of the bed, resting on the top of your head, it wouldn't be so bad if she didn't claw your face in the night. and it would be better if she wasn't so heavy!
It makes me laugh how my cat, to prove a point when she's hungry, will walk like three steps then lay down sprawled out like OMGZ I HUNGRY FEED MEH BISHIES!

My cats have never done that, to my knowledge--but my boyfriend's cat has found a way to do it, even after they specifically repaired that part of the bed to prevent catnaps. No clue how, yet. XD She's a clever one.
One of my cats will haul out anything that he can find, meowing loudly the entire time. Usually tissue paper, but before we thought about it and set up a basket that he could get things (that we don't care about) out of, he'd go after anything that he could possibly get a grip on, even things that he shouldn't have been able to get to.
Another of my cats will eat ANYTHING. Meat, cheese, broccoli, yarn... The possibilities are endless. D:
*has a ton of cat stories; is such a crazy cat lady*

One of my cats ran away about a month ago, but my other cat is still around - he's about a year old and he's HUGE. His name is Loki. He becomes especially annoying whilst I try to sleep.
See, he's good all day. Quiet, rather lovely company.. but, once I'm in bed ready to snooze, he's at the window scratching the blinds, jumping all over me, attacking my feet. Sheesh. I get nocturnal, but c'mon. ;P

One of My cats likes to climb curtains, we have these windows in the living room and theres this little ledge above them. My cat Mama likes to climb up the curtains and walk across the ledge. She usually tears huge holes in the curtains so my dad gets angry at her alot, but. Its normal now so we just seem to buy new curtains alot =3
Dad seems to have accepted her little habit without resorting to taking her to the pound. He threatened to do that for ages...

Well, while we lived in Californina (with my mom) my sister refused to clean the cat box, and I wasn't going to take her turns anymore so our poor cats were left with dirty boxes (I felt bad for that ;__; ) so one night, Noah, my sister's cat, decided to go complain to the master of the house (my mom), by peeing on her bed. He crawled around, waiting for her to wake up and once she looked up at him... Nasty cat.
And then a couple weeks ago, now at my dad's house, my daddums went to bed but forgot to let Noah out of his bedroom. Now, a normal cat would have meowed and scratched at the door. But Noah, oh ho ho, he is not a normal cat. He's the devil. And he peed and pooped next to my dad's head on his pillow.
Nasty little shit.

Oh, feel free. I laughed my head off when it happened. And I don't even have to worry about it happening to me. That stupid cat lives at my dad's house. And the cats we do have, love me. x3
