I've been taking a class all summer. So I'm looking forward to Monday, which will be my last day of that class, and then I get two weeks off. Yay, two weeks.
Then it's back to taking two to three classes a day four days a week. Awesome. :cool: |

I actually really like classes and things like that at school, I just despise the majority of the people there.
And getting up early. I normally don't get up until about an hour or so before noon, because I stay up all night. I'm always really tired in the daytime, so it's normal for me to be asleep then and awake at night. School ruins my entire schedule... I'm skipping that orientation thing. I already know where all of my classes and everything are anyway, and I went on the tour in eighth grade. |
I actually quite enjoy school. For some reason I like learning more things about almost everything. I am pretty smart for my age. I get around A's and B's. : D
And yeah, getting up for school stinks, but I think it makes me more alert at school sometimes when I get up early. (: And yeah I don't like classmates that much but they are okay at some points. I get my schedules next week I think. Don't know when my orientation is though. Might be the same day. XD Well good luck with your orientation. Only reason I wanna go back is because I miss my teacher. D:
(She's like twenty-four. I think she's awesome. :O) And seeing my friends. I miss that too. Otherwise, eff that! xD My school has no windows, so~yeah...it's very prison-like. (Which sucks when your rival school looks like a freaking castle.) And many of the students are so obnoxious and loud...I'm having trouble with what's helping me keep my sanity and not shoot up the school. >_> I remember my freshman orientation though. It had pizza. :] And our tourguides were lol-worthy. Why? They were the nerds who got picked on. You could just tell. They kept telling us we were going to get stuffed in lockers and stuff. xD Yeah, no bad things have happened to me for being an underclassmen. |
I am soooo looking forward to going to school!! Because in my case I'm going to college. The only thing that I'm going to hate is my 8 am class...calculus. Ugh... I just hope my 18 hours doesn't kill me. :gonk:
Now my freshman orientation in high school wasn't that bad. But the one for college was awesome. No lectures, just lounging about on campus, lunch, ice cream...it was fun. :lol: |
I dislike school, but something good is that there you got friends. You can see them there. And there are also fun parts. Boring parts also i have to say. What i really hate is to wake up early, that's what i really hate. Anooying people is what make me wanna go. I don't know how to explain it really. But something that i have to add is that we learn things there and yeah i probably sound like a mom but it's real.

Ugh, school
I'll admit, I feel great about learning (well, regarding the classes that I actually learn new things in) and having productive things to do, but... Registering at community college is a NIGHTMARE Fall will be my second semester. I love that I get my classes for about 1/10th of the price of a private university's (which I do plan on attending eventually, but not for GEs), but I certainly do noooottt love waking up at six in the morning to get on wait lists, having the school's site fuck up on me, and having to spend five hours to get my classes. We don't even have a wait list this semester though, so I'll just have to go to the classes I want to add and hope for the best. :( Also, I have to wake up super early to take the bus. A ten-minute drive to school is an hour by bus. I'll have a car a little into fall semester, but I'm actually considering taking the bus still because even if I drove, I'd have to get there early for parking, and I can't do my makeup and/or homework while I drive, like I do on the bus. :P It just sucks in general to wake up at 5:00 for an 8:00 class!! As for classmates, I found almost my entire English class last semester super irritating because I got placed in a lower class than I should have been in, and no one was motivated AT ALL. I did make some friends in my sociology class though, and I loved the teacher as well. |
