I was just in the kitchen then with my mother, and she opened the Irn-Bru. You can guess what's coming next. It sprayed everywhere for ages. We just ran around in a little space screaming for so long. But I was blocking the door and she couldnt get round to take it outside, but then the drink was spraying all over me and there was no space so I couldn't move anywhere. We were laughing for so long after that. The whole kitchen was covered in orange sticky drink (:. Our clothes were soaked in it too.

Anyone else been sprayed by a fizzy drink or have a story about it? ^.^

That happened to me once at my friend's birthday with grape soda. It wasn't even shook up or anything, and I just happened to be the one that had to open the new bottle.

I happened to be wearing a white shirt, too.

Well I have had some near experiences of almost having a fizzy drink/pop get on me.
Since I either messed with them or my friends were messing around.

Haha aww, and at a party too! Did you have to get changed or did you just ruin your shirt? I kinda have a thing about opening new bottles of fizzy drink, im scared of them haha.

Irn-Bru is soo nice, and orange (;. The name is Scottish so it was probably made there. They sell it in Britain in most places.

I've had a lot of issues with soda spraying everywhere... but the one that I remember the best was back when I was little and had a bit of a sugar craze... I used to love putting TONS sugar in everything, including drinks. So one day I put sugar in some type of cola... and it erupted like a mini model volcano. xD I can honestly say I never did that again.

I want to try that! Alot of people put extra strong mints in a bottle of Coke or something and try and screw on the lid slightly in time. Then it sprays out like a firework, its really powerful.

It didn't ruin it, but I had to go the rest of the party like that.

But when I was younger I had my mom buy me a sparkling flavored water and she gave it to me after we got out of the story. So I was in the car, my grandma and mom in the front seat and me and my brothers in the back seat. I didn't shake the drink at all and when i went to open it, it sprayed all over my pants and on my brothers to ( a little). Oh boy was my mom so mad. I can't remember what happened after that, but I drank it all up. It was delicious, although it was quite warm xD

Happens to me a lot when I try to open a bottle of soda or fizzy water. In fact, when I was bringing groceries home, I opened up a bottle of fizzy water and it sprayed all over me. I had to walk home kind of soaked. It was not fun at all.

Mentos and Coke? xD Yeah I've seen that before too... I really want to try that some day too. ^_^ It apparently works ok with sugar too... though it's probably not as satisfying as with mints. xD

My friends and I once got together, bought generic big bottles of soda, shook 'em up, and had a soda fight. c: It was the bestest.

That sounds so fun! Best not to wear your favourite clothes though :)

That has happened once at the girls locker room. We had a vending machine and my friend bought a coke. Usually they only sell Pepsi products but there happened to be a coke in the machine. Every time I buy a pepsi, I never get sprayed when I open it. But she opened her coke and it sprayed all over us. (We were also wearing our bras and shorts at the time. I felt sticky alllllll day and it was so gross.

my brother used to play tricks on me a lot, he used to get me drinks for the fridge but shake them up, when i wasn't looking, so when i opened them, i got soaked!

We also used to play a russian roulette type game, when one can was shaken up, out of like thrr or something and well, you can guess the rules, you were the loser if you picked up the one that would spray you lol.
