I find these very interesting to read about. I don't think I'm psychic or anything, but I think I may be sensitive to what's around me. I've actually seen a person walking by my window and he was translucent. He wasn't even looking this way, I don't think he even was aware of what was around him. I've also seen a shadow person leaning over my bed, whatever it was it was at the end of my bed looking at me. I couldn't see anything but a figure of a person, nothing else. It freaked me out though. I wouldn't want to be apart of a paranormal team, because spirits and demons can follow you back to your house. It's not safe in my opinion. I just wouldn't do it. |
the paranormal interests me a lot and i've experienced some ghosty things, but i'm not a medium by any means. :P its cool that you are though. it must be really interesting. do you ever get scared of ghosts? or are you used to them enough that they can't scare you?

There are times I wonder if there are ghosts and other supernatural beings out there. I think that the many legends and folklore, existing in virtually every culture, didn't come from nothing. Exactly what the truth is, and just what ghosts and the like are, I have no idea. |
When I was younger, I use to see what looked like a person out of the corner of my eye, but it would look totally black. Like a "shadow person", I guess you would say. Except, It would always appear like it was just running out of the corner of my eye, but when I looked, nothing was there.
I just figured it was nothing, though. Maybe it was nothing, and it was just my imagination. It happened from a very young age, from what I can remember, until I was about.. maybe, 8 or 9? Then, after the years went by, I've never had it happen again. |

I don't really wanna get into this, 'cause I'll REALLY get into it... most all of it's real. You'd be an idiot to think otherwise. Sure, lots of lies are tossed around, but almsot everything is based off of some kind of truth. I KNOW A BOOK. It is so crazy, scientists say it was false, then guy's like "Disprove anything in this book with your scientific tools and methods" and to this day, nothing can be disproved. I'm only to page 9 and it addresses aliens, bermuda triangle, your appendix, vibrations (everything is vibrations), alternate realms of reality... umm... *thinks* Eh, it's a lot. Higher being abducted this guy and told him all this stuff and said he needs to write a book. I hate talking about this stuff because without a proper introduction, I just sound like any other idiot babbling about false crap. It sucks. :cry: At the site you can also read about people's aura and stuff like that... and there's a shirt that makes ya feel good. Really, all this paranormal stuff is science that our scientists haven't addressed yet. Nothing too crazy, just gotta get your head out of the limited box that you grow up learning in. |
I'm sure that most of the things you mentioned are mostly true. But, some people may not want to believe it, or that they don't understand it and refuse to believe it. I would want scientist to prove some of those things are true, but are they ready for the truth? I'm not sure, I just hope people know what they are getting into. |

In my opinion they are real in that they are an illusion caused by The devil and his demons in order to scare people into beiliving in them. I think that they can harm you and indeed do when given the chance but as long as your not afraid they can not bother you at all.

"Convert or burn for eternity like we'll burn you now, you're going to hell you pagans and friends of the devil." If they said "Convert or we'll burn you only to have you be reincarnated and we'll convert you then." That wouldn't really work. :no:

I'm a total believer, even though I have had very little experience with the subject matter. Definite believer in aliens and ghosts, not so much for Bigfoot, but I'll do the Loch Ness creature for sure.

If you look at that link I linked on page six, in the FAQ it mentions how our technology sucks -- does nothing to address our consciousness. We aren't able to justify ghosts or anything yet because we can't even justify that we ourselves have souls.
It's quite stupid. :/ So really, I don't think any of this stuff we speak is PARANORMAL. It is quite NORMAL, just everyone ignores it and turns their blind eye to it. Religions don't wanna touch it, scientists don't wanna talk about it. People don't want to challenge their own beliefs... because people like status quo. ~~my sentence got misdirected. xP I meant to point it in direction of this stuff not being questionable, just not proven yet... or something. the paranormal is definitely real, but what it is exactly, no one can ever really prove for certain. personally i believe it is leftover energy from the deceased person. it has been proved that humans carry a form of energy and since energy cannot be destroyed, it continues on in the form of ghosts. not everyone leaves behind a ghost however because everyone leaves behind different amounts of energy. people of violent deaths leave behind high amounts of energy and this causes people to see their ghosts or effects of the ghost. also there is the issue of poltergeists, which usually center around one person. it's that person's emotional energy that i believe causes the poltergeist. ...idunno how solid my theory is but this is what i've believed for a while so yeah *shrugs*

Anywho, it is kinda known... might be in that book I referenced and always talk about. As for the energy thing, from what I know, yeah that makes sense. Higher emotion causes higher energy. Angry spirits = powerful spirits. Furthermore, everything's vibrations. Vibrations can be amplified, like harmonization of voice. That is why when people act angry, an angry ghost nearby can get even more powerful. It's all quite interesting stuff. :O |
Oh yes spirits thrive off energy, if you have a demon negative energy, if you have a normal ghost they take energy form around the room (this is why it is said to get cold around the area on is standing)
One thing about ghosts, some are stuck in a familiar state where even though they are stuck here, they do the same routine over and over as they did the day they died. They will never acknowledge you are there because they see only what they remember. once case is in a theater in the west. There is a ghost of a woman, who walks from back stage, to front stage, down the stairs to a table and then walks down the isle until she fades. Same time every night, not including day light savings, same time, same girl, same everything. Nothing is off. She is stuck like that and sadly there is nothing anyone can do. |

If for no other reason, their relief they feel of finally being able to be freed... if I can pick that up like I do living peoples' emotions.... it's said to be such a wonderful feeling, it'll bring you to tears. :cry: (and of course, I just can't stand to see someone in distress! :heart:) |
I do believe that there are things more then just our planet's worth out there, but honestly? I don't think anything like that exists here. I also don't believe in bigfoot or what not... thinking about it is giving me the creeps, though.

Yeah i felt bad watching it, but there is really nothing you can do, they are trapped in a state of limbo, they can't see you, hear you, or sense you. They are just there. As for helping spirits.... Ghost Whisperer anyone? =D But really I know where you are coming from, i've never been able to help, my team likes to anger the spirits to see how strong they are, i don't approve of this type of way, but i'm not the leader...and i'm getting paid lol |
I have an open mind when it comes to the supernatural or paranormal. I say let others' believe what they wish if it's in their culture or too convincing to argue against.
