You know I think to be a true believer is to really experience it. I remember going to a graveyard one Halloween a while back with a bunch of friends trying to use a Ouija board. It was weird how the raining stopped once we entered the graveyard. We chose a random grave to use the board at. It was a girl named Polly apparently according to the board who died in a dynamite explosion. Right before we ended the session she kept saying duck bomb duck bomb!! Then moments later what sounded like an explosion happened, I thought maybe someone with a shot gun was trying to scare us and there was no one around; and we all dropped face down to the ground and took off from the graveyard and left the board there. A couple of my friends went back the next day to retrieve it and it was just fine. Weird stuff happened after that for weeks after wards! Supposedly the next time we used it trying to talk to Polly, Lucifer came on the board and started speaking Latin and we burned the board after that.

Ouija boards ARE THE WORST things to use, no offense i hate people that use them #1 it opens you up for anything, even though you wanna call one ghost you may get 14 who are angry and they you're haunted for the rest of your life #2 they are a fake. not so much the board but people who do them. I know of only one time that i saw a quija bored used for real, and something legit happened without their friends moving the stylist.

I do believe in the paranormal. Angel, ghosts, demons, and other spirits they all really exist. I think that they are messangers, and making warnings for us.

Well I'm sorry you hate me for something I did when I was sixteen. I know all about Ouija boards now, that's why I haven't used them because, well I won't get into that. You say they open gates in your first reason then in your second reason you contradict your first reason by saying they are fake. So which is it you believe?

Moon Flow 10-25-2009 11:05 PM

I said no offense meaning not you. but those people who use it for the wrong reasons.

The board and the idea of it is not fake, the people who move it with their hands are.

Then we were just wanting to go to a place where we thought it was likely to work at and yes there were many times people moved the indicator on the board and laughed saying "Ouija Board, you are full of shit!" and just continually laugh, usually the board doesn't work at that point. I think a board should only be used by a experienced group who uses the proper precautions and knows how to use it properly.

Gotta be relaxed, and prolly clear your mind.
When you're all like that, you interfere with anything trying to get in there. Also, it's not as easy to move allz yer hands around, I guess.

I very well may have no idea what I'm talking about.

----EDIT----
I really would like an Ouija board. :squee:

amulet 10-25-2009 11:42 PM

i made a homemade one once. i made it exactly how the internet told me to and tried to use it like zillions of times, but i could never get it to work. it works better with more than one person so thats prolly why... idunno

You have to have your mind cleared and be focused on the spirit world or a particular spirit you are trying to contact if there is a particular spirit you are trying to communicate with. It depends on how many people are using the board. Four is usually the magic number that has worked with everyone in my group and five but any more than that the message that comes through can tend to be a bit disoriented whether there is too much energy present, someone is putting too much pressure, or someone in the group just is not concentrating on the task at hand, I'm not really sure.

@amulet ~ Yes, Ouija boards work better with at least two people, but not always. You know how the saying goes that two heads are better than one, well in this case that proves true.

I can do all that stuff! :O
lolz, amulet, we should get one and go try it out in one of those places down near ya.

Wow, I like this thread too much, I just accidentally posted a whole ton of stuff that should go in here.. in that "association by... smell?" thread. amulet's fault. xP

hikari<3 10-26-2009 01:14 AM

Very real :)

amulet 10-26-2009 01:15 AM

@Chouno: that would require you actually driving down here.. are you ever actually gonna do that? if you are then that would be awesome to try it with you and there's so many better places to use it here than back home

Chouno 10-26-2009 01:20 AM

amulet could come get me, take me down ther, then we do stuff and come back and report it in the paranormal thread! xD

That would be sooo much fun. xP
Wanna ditch halloween for this??

Question to everyone/anyone:
Do you think paranormal stuff is stronger on halloween or is it unrelated, or just 'cause everyone is thinking about it making stronger... or what?

amulet 10-26-2009 01:27 AM

@Chouno: want to? yes. but quite a few people want me to be home for halloween. and why cant you just drive?????

and i don't think halloween affects it at all. it originally wasn't even a ghosty holiday it was just a harvest thing thats where the trick-or-treating sortof came from... though i may be incorrect...

angel of light 10-26-2009 01:34 AM

first of all, i think i should state my opinion of paranormal things. i believe in ghosts, aliens, strange occurrences, and generally everything paranormal. There's just too much unexplained stuff...stuff people call "paranormal". I think it's really awesome how we can't wrap our brains totally around it. It puts life into perspective.

Also, i have seen and encountered ghosts. i have a friend with a "haunted" house...except it's not scary. it's just kinda strange. I've actually seen ghosts. some with well defined figures, some that looked just like blobs, others that looked like smoke. ive seen them from silver, to blue, to white, sometimes gray, and only once have i seen black. that one really did freak me out.

you can call me a freak or weirdo (which i doubt cuz this is a paranormal thread), but i know what i saw and i know paranormal stuff exists, and it IS very real.

now on Chouno. why are you so interested in Ouija boards? I believe they're very powerful but i wouldnt touch one. i dont want that kind of stuff happening to me. i guess you're just weird... (i know...stating it AGAIN)

If you are wanting to communicate with spirits you can do it without a Ouija board. I think about five people are needed to do it properly, but I would not mess with the board if I were you without having someone there who knows all the dangers about using the board and the proper precautions one would need to take in protecting him or her self. There are ways that are posted online as to how to communicate with spirits without using the Ouija board. I would listen to the last person who posted. You really need at least three to four people to really get it flowing.

Kilene 10-26-2009 06:18 AM

Actually, yes. I do believe in the paranormal. I love to read up on UFO's and aliens. And I do believe in ghosts. We actually have 2 of them that live in my house. My mom thinks they are my grandmother and my grandfather. I think so too. I've watched the Ghost Hunters enough to know what is just your eyes playing tricks on you and what is really a ghost. I've felt eyes on me, I've felt warm spots, cold spots, someone sitting on my leg while I was sleeping (never opened my eyes), heard things shifting in my room, felt presences in my room, had my named called by both a male and a female, things have moved and disappeared from my room, my bed has shaken before, I even heard moaning, I've seen shadow figures and even a dark silohette of my grandfather in a mirror, I've felt cold hands touch me.

Now some of you may think it's just my parents...but no. Late at night they're sleeping or they weren't home when this all happened. So, this is totally real. But, lately they haven't done anything probably because I haven't been paying any attention to them anymore.

Good night everyone!!!

Lol nah, the reason we come here is to talk about our experiences, not to criticize others.

I only know of myself and amulet who could join us too easily. :(

And I has a friend that says if I ever go to anywhere paranormal, I gotta give her the scoop first, so she can tell me what protective stuff I need, so as to not go crazy.

She says the spirits will overwhelm me because I'm not strong enough yet in what I do. Being stubborn, that's why I wanna go try this stuff out.

XxBetrayed-by-allxX 10-28-2009 01:53 AM

I completely believe in the paranormal.

my experience~
When I was 12 I woke up for some odd reason during the night and looked over at my closed door and my sister's closed door (you had to walk in my room inorder to get to hers)That's when I saw an elderly woman standing in between our doors staring out of my window into the wood that surrounded our house. She was wearing an all blue dress and her face looked kinda gray.she also had short curly hair.I looked at her and then looked at the window and then looked back at her. I just laided back down for a bit and looked back and she wasn't there anymore. And I know what I saw wasn't just something my sleepy mind made up,because as soon as I saw her i wasn't tired anymore. And she seemed to look out my window like I use to every time i walk into my room, and I continued to look out my window until I moved.

Chouno 10-28-2009 11:11 AM

@XxBetrayed-by-allxX
You shoulda tried looking up previous owners of the house and such.

I'm willing to bet she was there at some point, which would've probably been really cool for you to have found out. >.>

Tenshi 10-28-2009 11:59 AM

I do believe in the paranormal. But with the things I've seen it is hard to dispute the fact that there are things out there that aren't "normal". I've done EVP (Electronic Voice Phenomena) I've gotten recordings of things talking to me when there was nothing there. The list goes on, it is hard to believe that there isn't something else out there.

Chouno 10-28-2009 12:54 PM

I just realized this thread's going to have a bias. People are only going to bother to join if they have something to say... like someone who believes and wants to share that, or some stubborn, close-minded funny person who wants to say "there are no such things as ghosts."

It's safe to assume everyone whom enters here will probably be pro-abnormal circumstance.
I could be wrong, though.

Well just keep in mind it is a very powerful tool and to take every preventative measure to be safe. I know it's a very exciting experience but don't delve to deeply until you know you are ready or without the guidance of someone there to help keep the situation under control.

You intrigue me.
You sound like you know what you're talking about more than just some worried person would.

You sound like you're talking from experience. >.>
I be so curious and wanna pick you apart.
