I really wanted to change my name when I was a kid. Not so much because I don't like my name (Molly) but because I kept finding other cool names that I liked too. (Also, I guess there was an element of wanting to escape, which can start with changing names.)
These days though, I'm very content with my name. Now when I find cool new names, I give them to characters in new stories, or if I really like it, I consider it for a pseudonym. Currently, I'm infatuated with the name Arden, which I'm considering as a pen-name for my fiction. @Claudia: I'm sorry that your name is such a source of misuse. Can I ask what it is? |
When I was little I always wished my name was Katie :)

I think I would change my name to Evangeline. Lol I think I'm going for the longer name just because mine is only 3 letters... Ann. But at the same time I'm so used to seeing Ann that I think I'm stuck with it lol

I'd change my name to... Aleu Wolvia Black |
When I was little I wanted mine to be changed to Kaoru, like from Rurouni Kenshin. But now I think just shortening it to Jessie would be nice.
|
I think I would like to switch my middle and first names. I like the name Lenore better than Rachel since it's less common.

i would change mine to
lira december or decembre(december in french) |
William, it's very Elegant and English sounding. Plus there's so much you can do with it. William, Will, Bill, Billy, Willy, Liam. The possibilities are ENDLESS!

hmmm... Damien, Maelah, Akima, Lyra, Meia, Rydia, Marionette, Setnochima... there are so many things I'd rather be than Jenny

I don 't know what I 'd make it. It 's not like I love my name either. Maybe Sara? I don 't know. @[email protected]

"Johnny", maybe. I think boys-names-for-girls are cute.
Or the original Hebrew version of my name, "Devra", but I think that sounds a bit too much like my real name. I'd have to spend all my time correcting people. Or anything, really. I don't really know. I just know that I kind of hate my name, "Deborah", because of the way people tend to pronounce it ("Deh-Bor-Uh" when it's supposed to be "Deb-rah"). I'm torn between liking that it's not some cut-up, modernized version of a classical name ("Debra", "De'Bra", "Debrah") and hating that it contains the word "bore", like I'm this dull person because it's right there in my name. |

I don't know why, but Devon would want to be my name.

I'd probably change my name to something more gender neutral, like Lee or something more original I can't think of right now.

I think I wouldn't want to change my name. It seems perfectly fine to me. :D
|
If I could change my name to literally anything else, I would go with Master Haemorrhage, simply because it was the first thing that popped into my head when I read the thread title :D

Í've always been attracted to the name Krystall, but since I'm not gonna change mine, my daughter will inherit what was never mine <3
|
I would change my name to Skye. My fiancee and I came up with nicknames for eachother and "Skye" stuck to me like ducktape to a long-haired kid's eyebrows. (:<

From May Sturman to May Gadawinski. Because it's WAY COOL. ;)
|
I'd change my name to Gabriel or Oliver. I don't know why, but I've always like those names.
|
Athena, Cassandra, Violet (my real name is Juliet) or Sybil
|
I've actually thought about this a lot, and pretty much settled on Marion. Why? Don't ask me, it just fits.
