If you were trapped on a island with no way getting home for ten years and you only had one item and one person with you, who and what would that be? (You don't have to currently own the item.)

I would buy a iBook and have all my books on there. And I would get stuck with my cousin Chelsea. C:

Defianly a labtop and my ferturnal twin sis. So then we could play games and that thing gets internet access any where I sware.

If I were stranded, I would take my dog as my one "person". I wouldn't want any of my family with me; I'd want to know they were all together and taking care of each other. The one item I would want is a resource that would tell me what on the island was safe to eat and what wasn't. My dog and I could live off fish, local animals, and vegetation. We could watch each others back, keep each other company, play together and even talk to each other. I've got a good enough imagination that I could make up movies in my mind for when I got REALLY bored. But honestly, if I ended up all by myself, I don't see myself making it the entire ten years.

If i was stuck on an island i would either have my dog or one of my friends as my one person. I'd probably have either a sketchbook or just a book with me as my one item. I think I would first try to find something to eat and find fresh water, and make a map of the area after exploring, then i would make a fire, and a good shelter. Probably sit and enjoy watching all the stars at night.
Only problem with bringing my dog is i think i would get a little lonely from not talking to anyone but an animal that couldn't respond. But he would possibly offer protection :)

I don't think my dogs would like it.. They need AC. They are too lazy. c: But so far everyone's pick is very wise/interesting.

well, it'd be nice to be stuck on an island with somebody i knew... like somebody that was close to me, but i think it'd be better for me, and for my friends, that it was just me and some other person... like, maybe a dude that's sexy and i can easily get a long with. [:
but.. hmmm.. as for the item thing, i think i'd have a BIG bulk of clothes and tools, that way i would be able to make myself, and maybe even the dude, some clothes, and that way i'd be able to make a house with ease. i don't think i'd need food, since i'm guessing that there'd be fruits/fish and things around the island.

I would bring my best friend with me and a knife. (I'm assuming this island is deserted) Knife is for food, not killing my friend. >_>

I'd so bring my friend Larrisa because we know how to entertain each other if we were trapped on an island... Plus I think I'd know how to survive in a type of situation like that... Also, I'd make sure to bring my labtop, so I could do everything I wanted on it! It even let's me talk to more of my friends!

So yeah... I'd have it made... Then I'd need to build a hut and live happily.... Not ever after because I know I'd get bored at some point.

If I had to bring anything, it would be a knife and I would bring my dog.

I'd bring a boat and someone who could sail/drive that boat, then get everything else I need from the main land. I would love to live on that island then, I love islands.

My one person would definitely be my brother. Well, I wouldn't want him with me because I want him to be safe, but I'd want him with me because he's my favorite person in the whole world. I'll probably be selfish and want him with me anyway though. o.o;;

As for the item.... maybe something useful like a sharp knife or a blanket to keep us warm. I dunno, just... something useful. Ha ha.

If I were stuck on it an island it would have to be with an attractive Asian guy and my cell phone. If i were stranded somewhere i would want to call for help but if its with a hot guy the phone call can wait.
