i've only gone trick or treating once in my life, and that was years and years ago. i still like to dress up, tho. right now, i'm wearing a pair of cat ears and a bow tie to match them. they're just cheap dollar store peices, but it's a good costume.

Halloween is right around the corner! Literally! I can't possibly be the only one that's super excited about dressing up! Yeah, I'm almost 20. But Halloween is still my favourite holiday ever!

So what are you all dressing up as? Menewsha AND Real Life. Are you going trick-or-treating? Going to a party? Doing anything totally wicked?! lol.

It's freezing cold and there's snow on the ground where I live, but I'm dressing up as a sort of raver cat girl with sweet fuzzy leg warmers, hand warmers, a tail, and ears. If it's not TOO cold I'm going trick-or-treating. If not, I'll party with my friends and watch movies! :D I'M SO EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

@Miruku: Haha. Nazi Zombies? That sounds like it'd be awesome! Is it just a local theatre movie? Cuz I haven't heard of it.

The plan is to give out candy and count down to NaNoWriMo.
I'm thinking about turning on some old horror movies and watching them all night.
I'm also going to dinner with my mom before trick or treating starts.
I don't think I'm dressing as anything in particular.
My Halloween is going to be fun.

@Inevitable: That does sound fun. Some of my favourite halloween movies are Sleepy Hollow  And Shawn of the Dead. Serious, and hillarious. But both awesome. lol.

Shawn of the Dead!
I haven't seen that in a long time!
I know they have it for sale at Wal-Mart for $5.
I may go buy it.

I also will be counting down to NaNoWriMo. Until then, my friend says she's going to go trick-or-treating, so I'll probably tag along with her.
I'm going as a generic masquerader, I guess, since I'm going to wear a red ball gown, feather mask, and a cloak.

@Inevitable: Oh it's deffinitely a must-have! Actually, I'm not sure if I own it.... OH NOES! I may be going to WalMart too! lol.

@Chexala: That sounds like a pretty costume! I've always wanted to go to a masqerade ball since I was little. The masks and the dresses are sooo pretty!

I'm going trick-or-treating with my boyfriend and well one friend is for sure joining, we invited others but haven't heard from them yet. >_> I was just going to wear my Indian costume I bought last year but it's going to be cold so I was just gonna maybe wear one of my old cosplays that has layers. :) yay warmth! We have NO idea what we're doing after though! I know we were invited to a drinking party but those kids are crazy so we'll see.

@Olla: Throw your own party! lol. Maybe your other friends would come if you said you were having a party? If not then movies are always good. Cuz then you can eat your candy while you watch! *nom*

A party with 3 people!? :D Awesome. I was thinking of that, that's sort of what we did last year but my boyfriend has an insanely strict mother and she wouldn't want people coming over, and I don't know if my mom would really want people here either. But I'm sure we'll find something to do! :) We always seem to.

@Olla: My mom and my boyfriends' are the same way. They don't want people over without a bunch of prior notice. My mom is more ok with it, but if it's like, a party? She wants some notification. XP

I had my costume assembled and ready to go (Cardinal Biggles from 'The Spanish Inquisition' Monty Python sketch), but I'm rather sick so the costume will not be getting used today. =\ It will just have to wait till the next event to be used (hopefully won't be collecting dust till Halloween next year). =p
