I don't want to go trick-or-treating...I had a perfectly good Halloween last year, scaring the snot out of children...But now they wanna go out an do it again >>' We really are too old now if you ask me. By Halloween 2 of us will be 17... When we were 15 some young dad with his toddler looked at us and said "Aren't you guys a bit old to be trick or treating?" We asked,

"isn't your son a bit YOUNG too be trick or treating?" He looked 2 months or somehting...

And some older lady glared at us when we went to her house and was all "so what's going on at the high school now days?"

We are clearly not appreciated so I don't see the point. We can buy our own candy, dress up and scare people. That's a whole lot better in my opinion...

Last year two of us dressed in black and made ourselves look like Zombie body guards for the Zombie Prom Queen :D

Children stared at us and were all afraid of coming up the drive way.

I want to dress up and go somewhere and do something.
23 is too old to trick or treat.

my friend and i went trick or treating last halloween, and that was fun, but she can't trick or treat any more, her mom said she's too old. i personally disagree, but it's no fun alone. the year before that, i didn't go trick or treating, i just sat at home and ate the candy i was supposed to be giving trick or treaters. i gave them some when they came, and ate it in between. i got a sugar rush, it was fun, but it's better to trick or treat, so maybe i will, but i am dragging Kaye along with me! i wonder if anyone else will...i love halloween, it's really close to my birthday, so i get presents and free candy, AND i get to dress up and look ridiculous without getting odd looks. *giggles* october is an awesome month! oh wow, it's not far away is it? huh, i'm just now realising that. now, what will i be..? i love trick or treating, but mainly it's a little kid thing here, and i don't have a younger sibling to use as an excuse (damn! i hate being an only child!), so it would probably be a bit embarrassing. which is why i need to have a few friends to be with me. but i hope i can. if anybody comments that i'm too old, i'll just ask how the hell it is that i'm too old for free candy. and it's fun!

I want to go trick or treating. But it might be too much of a walk for me. I want to be pregnant catwoman! I think that would be really cute. Then I can borrow someones little black kitten and bring it around on a leash, aww! actually that sounds kind of cruel..nevermind the last part!

Unfortunately I'm at that age were Trick-o-treating is sort of frowned upon. That's why I made HALLOWEEN CAROLING for my residents and I a few years back. Not only do you get FREE CANDY but you get to spread the joy of song and the holiday spirit!

My Mom and I took famous Holiday songs and changed the lyrics so that they would fit Halloween. The neighbors get a kick out of it and we get the candy!

As for my costume, I'm going as either a Sora Vampire or Alice. I can't wait!

Aww, halloween. Im stuck at the age before you go to the parties, but over the age your supposed to stop trick or treating at. But, the magic of having little cousins, friends that look a lot younger than they are, and neighbors with littlwe munchkins. Im probably going to go again this year. -le gasp- I don't know what Im going as~! D:
i need to pull out the sewing machine and tape measure soon. hmmm...I think if i can sew fast enough, ill go as my gaia avi, current or the last one. I just need a top hat, the rods for the inside of a corset, and some yellow glaoshes or squeaky, rubber boots :D Halloween, here I come~!

I would love to go trick-or-treating! But I'm 20. XD; So hopefully I'll get to go to a fun party or something.

When I was in high school, I used to go Christmas caroling on Halloween with a bunch of my friends, that was a lot of fun. :3

I dunno what I want to be this year... something cute, I think. I've been looking at some Alice in Wonderland costumes...

This will be my second year not going trick-or-treating. 10th grade was my last year.

I will probably dress up, though! I really want to be Princess Peach, and have my boyfriend be Mario. ><
I doubt that will happen, though, so... I'm thinking of going as a 50s housewife. Or a girl from Slytherin.

Last year she was a Zombie Bunny, she even walked with a limp, but everyone thought she was the Easter bunny. D:

This year she wants to be something along the lines of "Alphabet Soup".

It should be easy to find tomato-ey colored clothing and I can paste little letters all over my costume. :D

I'm not sure if I'm going trick or treating. In Ohio it was easy because it's nice outside. But in Alaska, there is tons of snow. Plus my boyfriend says I'm too old to trick or treat, so he won't do it with me. What stick in the mud! :|

sorry, no halloween for me. To be honest, I hate it. :lol: There are still pieces of an egg in my mailbox from last year, and if I see someone doing such thing this year, I'll hunt hin through the whole city...

I think im abit too old for trick or treating now which is a shame because I used to love it so much as a child. Ill be decorating the whole of the outside of my house though as its a tradition now and all of the kiddies in the neighbour hood come to our scary house for candy :]
It lets me enjoy the holiday and spread a little halloween cheer to the kiddies as well as get very creative with the decorations >D

I love Halloween. I dress up every year, always in a homemade costume. Last year I went as a Padan, but I didn't go trick-or-treating. D: I was waiting for my then boyfriend who showed up late and drunk. I was pissed.

Anyway, this year I am dressing up as Athena, finally, and my school is hosting a costume contest on the 30th, which I will enter. I don't know if I will trick-or-treat this year, I may, but probably not. It'll be parties for me. :D

Actually I'm not trick-or-treating. Much to old... maybe next year I'll go with my neice. But this year will be special. I'm dressing up as one of the six mascots owned by Canada's largest mall, then dressing that mascot up as a Butterfly, and then I'm going to prance around the mall getting tons of candy and stashing it away every few hours and starting again from scratch.

The mall will be super busy and it'll be one of the most exciting events I'll do as this mascot, so I'm quite excited. :]

Haha, I probably will be, me and my friend usually use my friend's little sister and her cousins as a (lame) reason to still go trick or treating! :P Even though her sister is now about 13, I bet anything we still cling to it. xD :sweat:

I usually go as a "witch", as that was the best closet outfit I could manage, but recently I've been going as nothing really, just a general gothic lolita with maybe vampire teeth or something. :lol: It's all good fun!
