I am happy with the time period in which I was born, mainly because of all the technology we have. However, I have big issues with all the people and the lack of plant and animal life.

I am a total tree-hugger and animal lover...I was devastated when I had to move away from the mountains in which I took so much solace in, and move to an island. >> Most people would think it's a dream-come-true paradise, but personally to me it feels like hell because the place is totally packed with people as a tourist hotspot.

I have always felt that I was born in the wrong era. I always felt I belonged somewhere in Fedual Japan, or in Medevil England...But I guess what is, just is.....

I know what you mean, sometimes I feel like I should of been born in an earlier time. Most likely the 1920s, not that I would want to change anything. If I was, I wouldn't of been alive past a few months. I had a un-diagnosed problem that caused me to loose so much weight. When I was 9 months old I weighed only eight pounds. So, I probably would of died back then.

The 60's or the 80's. Music or awesome cartoons.

I know what you mean. Maybe the era we belong in hasn't happened yet? Maybe we were born before our time?

When I was younger, I fantasized about living in the Renaissance, and even now I wish I could visit that time period, but at the same time I know I would not be who and what I am now without the internet, for better and for worse.

No, I totally know what you mean. I feel so out of place here in modern-day America. I feel like I belong in Western Europe, in the late 1800's, or the Late Medieval-Renaissance time period.

I'd always thought the mid or late 1800's would have suited me. Perhaps living in London or Italy. Somewhere old fashioned. Back when literature was truly magical and investigative journalism was thriving.

This is a very good question... a friend and myself were discussing this earlier today and we both came to the conclusion that I should be in either warring states era (Japan or China) or in mideval England... but neither of us belong in this day and time...

Can we chose some future era? I would like to have been born in the future, like about 100-300 years from now.. I want to see what technological advancements we will go through, and how future medicine will have developed a panacea, if that happens :P you can always read about the past, but knowing the future is impossible.. XD

Sometimes I wish I'd been born in the late fifties, so I could have been a flower child in the sixties. :3

I'd love to sit out in a field of flowers with my good friends and listen to the soothing sound of a guitar all day, thinking about the universe and whatnot...

Of course I realize I could probably do that now but, man, come on, it's the sixties. XD

This is true.

I keep reading Anne McCaffrey's futuristic books, and sometimes I wonder if our society might be like that.
Someday, in some distant future, what is currently happening to us now, will be considered "ancient history".
It boggles the modern mind to think of it, but really. What kind of things could happen in the far future?

i wanna be born in the era that doesn't have war and............less money for everyone......GAH! XO XDD
Oh yea, and more anime fans!

My sister was born in the wrong era. She's a huge movie buff, and wants to be a screen writer, but she's into the old black and white films, like in the fifties and earlier. She needed to be in the Golden Age of Films. Ask her anything between 1900 and 1950, and she'd know it.

I feel pretty content with this era. Very advanced and open minded compared to other eras. I'm all about progress and change. There would be no way I would have survived in the past. Either for medical issues or personal opinions. lol.

I felt like I was born in the wrong era. I should've been born 60 years later, in the year 2047. Then that means I would've been young enough to grow up with 90's influences, then by teen years have 21st century's influences, and then by the time I'm in my 60's I'd have early 22nd century's influences.

Instead I was born in the late 80's...too late to experience the 80's, and my dream of seeing the 22nd century would only come true if I live to be 103.
