|
Let me know how it is.
|
I will. But I heard that the original was more of a documentary than a movie.

I had something strange happen to me a few years back.
It was in the middle of the night, probably around three or four am, and I was laying in bed on my stomach, having woken up for some strange reason. Anyway, I was half a sleep when I felt paws start walking up and down on my back, pushing me down into the bed. At first I was all like, 'Aww, its Pekoe (my cat) and she's finally decided to enter my room! (she never enters my room, she hates it in there) ... but then I was like, 'WAIT A MINUTE! She isn't in my room and the door is closed shut! I always have my door closed at night!' ... whatever it was that was crawling up and down my back stayed there until I fell to sleep. I was far to afraid to move, so I just sort of shut my eyes and let it go about its walking on my back duties... ... >.> it sort of felt like a ghost back rub anyway, I think I sort of liked it. But it was still freaky as hell though. --- Another time I was sleeping and in my subconscious I heard this really harsh breathing, it sounded sort of deep, like a man's breathing so I totally woke right up and bolt up into a sitting position, looking in the area of the room that the breathing suddenly stopped after I sat up really fast. I literally sat there for two and a half hours without taking my eyes off the corner of my room where I got this horribly bad vibe! God it was dreadful! It was one of the few times I actually prayed to God to send whatever it was in my room away. I hardly believe in God, so it was really strange for me to just suddenly start praying. Surprisingly, after I did a whole bunch of praying I felt as if something really heavy left the corner of the room and I was able to tear my eyes away and lay back down. Now my bed sits in that exact corner of the room and I'm always worried I'm going to wake up to that breathing in my ear again! D: --- This one time I have to say, was more like a really horrible half-dream. Do you ever get those dreams where you know your awake but you just CAN'T MOVE for the life of you. You think your paralyzed or something? Apparently to some people, they say that it's the Devil trying to possess you, but I don't know. I bet it has something to do with your brain still asleep but your body is awake. Thats my guess, anyway. Well I had this horrible experience where I was awake and unable to move an inch in my bed and I had my eyes wide open and I was staring at the window beside my bedroom. It was bright as day and the light was shining through my window all peaceful like when suddenly I heard this really high pitched screaming/singing the same tune over and over again. Oh god, it was SO incredibly loud, I felt my entire body vibrating from the sound. I was unable to take my eyes off the window and I had this feeling that something was going to come smashing through my window. Then through the curtains I saw this freakishly large bird sitting on a branch outside, peering at me with these big round yellow and black eyes through the gaps in the curtains and it had it's beak wide open and I guess it was the one screaming really loud. Then there was this really loud smash and I was finally able to 'wake up'... or move, for that matter. |
Hi
@Kristal Aww, that was a sweet story, I really do hope that it was your grandmother there, showing you she's still with you...
I, personally, have never seen a ghost but, I have felt and heard them... Once when I was being babysat by my oldest sister and her boyfriend they went downstairs (which was like the basement) to watch tv, and I stayed upstairs in my bedroom, while my parents were out shopping... Anyway, I heard the cupboard drawer open and close and some talking, so I assumed it was my parents home, so I walked out to the kitchen, (where the sound had come from), and there was no-one there, so of coarse, I freaked out and spent the rest of the time till they did return in my bedroom... Later, I confessed the situation to my older sister, and she said that she had heard it too but, had assumed it was me... Also, once when driving past a pretty bad car accident, I felt someone grab my hat... again, I freaked out... lol |
nice. Did it ever happen again in your house?
|
My friend's mother had to use a public kitchen to sell her food. So therefor, the only option narrowed down to cooking at midnight at the old Masonic Temple in our little town. Her mother invited me to go one night; so that she wouldn't be alone and her daughter//my friend wouldn't get bored. So near three A.M. she requested us to go down 3 floors and get two carts to carry the food back down to the car. My friend and I decide to take the elevator. We close the gate and press the worn out button. It unevenly goes down two floors and drops three feet and continues to the first floor. We both get out thinking that 'that was strange. We walk towards the carts across the large ballroom. We walk up to the stage. Footsteps caught us off guard, large clunky footsteps, walked across the whole stage- then a door closed. It was too dark to see figures or anything at all. We both froze. i-is that the night guard?' she whispered to me. I said 'n-no... i saw him upstairs in the office...' Her and I ran towards the stairs and were back up to the 3rd floor in just seconds. |
This was just after my grandpa died and I was sleeping in his room(because it made me feel safer) and my cousin was staying the night.
Well, she was sleeping on the floor and me on the bed. She and I never remembered to turn light off, and knew that we had left the light on outside the room, but when I sat up there was no light coming in from under the door, so I woke up my cousin and we were absolutely spooked at this point, so then we opened the door, but the light was back on! We then walked out into the front room and all the other rooms of the house, but there was no one. Needless to say, we didn't sleep that night, nor did we find out who or what turned off the lights. |
@Aaawhyme: Yeah that has happened to me once and i will never forget it. We had moved to this apartment. Really tiny. and i was laying in the bedroom on the bed with my boyfriend. The lights were off and i finally fell asleep i woke up really scared and tried to shut my eyes. but kept opening them. Then all of a sudden i couldn't move and the tv in front of the bed started doing the loud No connection thing? Like the grey and white dots all over and it makes that loud annoying noise. well it felt like foreverand finally i could move and the tv stopped. i looked over at daniel and he was just sleeping like nothing happend. i tried to fall asleep again and the same thing happened again. It happend 3 times. me not able to move and the tv all scrambled. then the fourth time the tv did the same thing and then this black shadow screaming in a high pitched tone started swooping around the room and again i couldnt move, scream or anything i was freaking out so bad i just wanted to wake daniel up or scream for my mom r something. but nothing. and it kept getting closer. then finally i shot straight up and it was gone. that time i did wake up daniel. He told me it was going to be ok and held me. One of the scariest things i've ever been through no doubt. My brother said it would happen to him all the time. Its called sleep paralysis. but here is link to describe what it actually is.
http://www.medterms.com/script/main/...rticlekey=9806 @laniparis: yeah, thats creepy lol. |
@Aaawhyme: There's a reason your cat doesn't like to go into your room. I had something similar to the last two of your stories happen to me in high school. Praying really does help, just keep that in mind, there's a reason why it was a kneejerk reaction to the situation.
My experience happened in a friend's room though. She lived in on of the three houses that weren't destroyed by the Bitburg bombings in WWII. I've never really loved to be in her house, but it's never bothered me either. So when she asked to spend the night I didn't see any reason to decline. I was sleeping on the floor that night, I sleep on my side in an awkward way that keeps my right forearm from touching what I'm lying on, and something tapped my right arm till it hit the floor. It might be good to mention here that I'm NOT a light sleeper so it wasn't a light tap by any stretch of the imagination. I heard this urgent whisper in my ear to 'Wake up!'. My friend had been telling me her ghost stories that day to freak me out so I instantly assumed it was her trying to get a rise out of me. So I turned to give her a hefty piece of my mind and found that she was sound asleep turned away from me. Ooookay weird. At this point I noticed that the room was unnaturally silent. I laid back down and kept on eye cracked open looking at my arm. This time my arm was tapped twice, I saw it move, but it didn't look like anything had touched it. The whisper was louder and more urgent this time but it said 'Get up' instead of 'wake up'. I scrambled out of the covers and felt a pull to the left corner of the room opposite me. There it was all dark and sucking the light out of the room. I looked like it was going to move and I instantly started praying for it to be bound to that corner. It seemed to be caught by something like a silver spiderweb for an instant before it was gone. I couldn't see it clearly enough but I had the impression of LOTS of teeth and it was grinning at me like a cheshire cat. I could see it nodding, as if it heard my thoughts and was acknowledging it's own existence to me. Needless to say after a few screamed prayers for it to leave in the name of the one who's blood covers me I tried to wake up my friend and slept in the living room that night. @ K0a: XD! I hate it when that happens. It makes me feel silly sometimes. @ Kristal and Aaawhyme: I hate it when that happens! XD Sleep paralysis sucks and the science behind it makes me feel crazy. |
didn't happen to me. it's just a story i hear all the time

@Tacit: Wow, what country was that in?

I probably have a few stories of mine. Especially when it's dark, I'm in the kitchen putting a cup in the sink. I turned around and started moving back to my room. Before I went through the archway of the kitchen door, I see a white figure in the corner of my eye. Maybe I'm being watched over? I dunno, but I get scared easily. Another time, I was in my Mother's room reading a book. I look outside the window, and I see this guy with shoulder length brown hair. He was in odd cloths I couldn't make out. He looked like he didn't see me. I could see him as clear as day. For a minute I thought he was real, and I realized he was see through. Now that I think back on it, I'm thinking wow, that was so cool. Other experiences I have are in dreams, when they are trying to scare me. :sarcasm: They know it works. Darn it... The other day, I was looking up the internet. I was on youtube, looking for any spirits that was caught on camera, there was a few I thought may have been real. There are these noobs making these videos of themselves in sheets. I laughed so hard. Even the cat was looking at them weird in the video. There was another one about the stupid tooth fairy, it was so retarded. |
XRAIKI: That story actually freaked me out for a few moments there! ... GOD that eye part... -shiver- YEESH! D:
Tacit: Why do you think my cat doesn't want to go into my room? I don't think my house is haunted or anything, she just really doesn't like it in there. :< |
@ Kristal: Most of the stuff that's happened to me has been in Germany or Japan. A few things happened in College thanks to an EX-friend of mine who gets off on adrenaline. That particular occurrence happened in Germany in a town about 25 minutes drive from my own.
@ Aaawhyme: I'm not saying that you're house in haunted or anything. Animals tend to have a higher sensitivity to the spiritual. I don't believe in all the crap about cat's being half in and out of the spiritual realm. But when weird crap happened around my dog or cat they react. For example: I was walking our dog, Skye, in Japan near one of the dilapidated shrines near the Air Base. This dog is a sissy, she usually doesn't even bark...ever. I caught sight of a Dark Shape in the corner of my eye and that very moment Skye started barking and growling and put herself between me and the entrance to the shrine (torii gate). I could feel a pressure and could see dark figures about the size of children at the edges of my vision. A second later Skye, little white poofy dog that didn't even reach my knee, was literally dragging me away and turning ever so often to bark or growl at something behind us. After about a block she calmed down and went back to her normal self. I've had my cat speed by me just before I heard a voice or the lights started flickering. Sometimes the animals just freak out and nothing that I can perceive happens. Long story short: I dunno why your cat doesn't like being in your room, but she has a good reason. Maybe your room is a place that things pass through, not that its haunted only on some kind of whacked out spiritual layline. I couldn't say. I don't want to freak you out or anything, you most likely have no reason to worry or read into any of this. |
@Blkmage Disaster: haha funny. Thats pretty cool though.
@Tacit: I believe it. with all the war over there in the past. I saw the new movie paranormal activity. It was scary but cute too. untill the end.kinda feel sorry for the guy. haha. i don't want to spoil it for any one though. |
okay, is anyone watching the live Ghost adventures right now?
|

!!!!!!!! SO EXCITED!!!!! Thanks!
|
no prob. It's really interesting. BUt since the people conducting the investigation are trying to see stuff, you need to try and debunk the stuff yourself.
|
aw ok
|
yea, though I think it's fun to try and debunk them yourself. You need to make your own decisions on everything.
