I can't believe my school doesn't block Menewsha
I wonder why Menewsha isn't blocked. It's probably because I go to an adult education class, in which case they may be less strict about those kinds of things - unlike the staff in high school. But ya, I just finished all of my online crap except for the final test, which I don't want to take until next week after my teacher can grade everything. Therefore, my teacher (because she trusts me) is allowing me to do whatever for the day. After I take the test, I'll just have to study for the GED tests (and of course pass them) and then goodbye school and hello job and community college. Whoo! -celebrate- I plan to probably be a zookeeper in the future, or anything else that handles cool animals. That is my lifelong dream, oh yes. ^_^ If only I was diagnosed with ADD years ago, or atleast before I was kicked out of high school. But oh well, life goes on hehe. It's weird using a school computer though. The colors and overall art design look terrible (if only it had NVIDIA so I can configure it more to my liking) and I have to use an old version of IE rather than my beloved updated firefox. I wonder if the Asteroids game works... Where're you people posting from by the way? |
the more you go on it the more likely it will be. I used to go on Gaia in high school and for a while there were no problems. Then more and more people were going n it I guess or they were checking odd sites kids were going to an banned it.
I just post from my room in my house these days, being out of college and all. |
I post from my room on my laptop... sometimes i go to the computerlab at my college to go on the internet, but menewsha isnt my first stop. XD more like 1. DeviantArt 2.Gaia 3. Myspace 4.Facebook lol

Dinning room a home

I post from the basement. When I had a laptop I would usually tag it a long with me everywhere until I felt comfortable

Aw I wish people in my previous schools had an account on Gaia or any of the other online games that I had played at the time. I never talked to anyone, because I never seemed to have much or anything in common and therefore lost interest in people very quickly (I blame my ADD for that :p). Ya I always play in my room as well. In fact, I'm in my room right now haha. ^_^ So your out of college now? That's great, what're your future goals now, if you don't mind me asking? I'm a very curious girl. Quote:
I haven't visited DeviantArt in quite a while. I might check it out later. <3 Quote:
Sorry for not quite understanding, but do you mean in the dining room at your home? ^_^; Quote:
I was thinking about getting a laptop at one point as well, but as an online gamer, I changed my mind. Games (the 'high class' games) generally run terribly on a laptop. The portability is very nice though. |
Usually they don't block sites that aren't as populated among the students,
I'm posting from home<3 in bed, where it's nice and comfortable :] |
e_e I wish my HighSchool wouldnt crack down so much and block everything I like Bull Spit.. |

If it isn't blocked and you are using it in class -be happy, don't complain.
EVERYTHING WAS BLOCKED IN MY SCHOOL o.o But we got over it haha. |
wow I remember when I was in high school and everything was blocked and so we get inventive and used other sites to get on until they blocked that one and so on and so on until people stopped giving out their sites to other people.
I am in college so you can find me in many different places using the computers. I am at home in my living room right now. okay now I have to try to get off of here so I can finish my homework (Hard for me to do) |
Back when I was in high school they had blocked Google's image search. Us studio arts students figured out the Google.ca worked just fine. ;-)
We have 2 desktops and a laptop. I spend most of my doodle time on the laptop and the business stuff on the desktop. We do a lot of traveling so the laptop comes in handy for that. |
It's probably because Menewsha isn't that well known, so not many people visit it in school for it to be added to the blocked sites list. It was never blocked in my school, either.
|
maybe they like menewsha
|
Menewsha wasn't blocked at my high school either. I was really happy that they didn't know about this site. In my final year I had one spare period so I would usually go to a library computer and play tetris on here. xD
I was probably the only person in my school going on Mene since it is such a small site. I did get in trouble once by the librarian for playing tetris, but he didn't connect the game to Menewsha in any way. |
I post from my fam computer in the living room, it's one of two computers in the house that gets internet and it's the only community one
|
i usually post from home. on my laptop in the living room. that way i can talk to hubby and watch the boys play. sometimes i watch tv with them too. :)
|
In my school gaia, menewsha, myspace ect. were not blocked. But like games and stuff would not work because you had to install like java. In my old school, all the classwork, except for english and math, were on the computer. I was only able to go on the internet in this one class, if we had a sub, before school and break.
|
hehe this post coming to you live from my apartment at work!! hope every1 is having a good night and day. @OP it seems to me that menewsha is rather underground atm, and since many ppl dont know about it, that might be y it hasnt been banned yet.
|
Yeah, Menewsha isn't blocked at my high school. I just posted from there yesterday.
A few years ago Gaia wasn't blocked either, but that changed. |
www.peacefire.org its a circumventing site that sets up websites that help get around blockers. check it out if u like
|
Ha ha that's funny I never thought about a school blocking the site!
|
It's not blocked at my school either! XD Everything else is, but it's ok, I use Mene in all my classes. :D
|
I post from our living room. I used to post from our art room, but have since moved my laptop out to living room.
As expected, Mene is blocked at work. :P |
I think you might need a special qualification to work in a zoo, its fairly competive down here if one wants to work with animals, like exotic mammals and birds.
