Hey everyone!

I have recently started a blog about health and beauty tips. So far I only have 2 but I just started yesterday! I've written about how to get rid of those pesky pimples and also about how to care for a rolled/sprained ankle. So what I'd like to know is...

What would you guys like tips on?

Just a little about me, I'm a medic in the Army, so I've got a lot of good information about health and wellness, and I really really love to help people! So if there is anything you would like to know, or have an idea for a blog, then let me know! I want to make it a regular and try to post at least one new thing everyday!

So what are your suggestions? Hit me with em! I can take it, lol:sweat:

I can't really think of anything, I usually just have to deal with acne. All I do is take vitamins, lmao. Which helps a lot with skin problems and stuff. However, I've heard birth control takes care of that and makes you look younger over time. Then some stuff about prenatal vitamins or something being really good for your skin, hair, and nails. BUT, that's just stuff I've heard, I haven't tried most of it. Maybe this'll help.

You could post about one's metabolism, like how to keep it at a healthy rate. Or, for the beauty part, you could write about make-up for one's facial shape, and include hair styles.

Metabolism and exercising sound good for sure. And growing hair... I haven't cut mine for 3 years and it's past my hips! I think it's time for a change but if you want to know how to grow it ;)

Thanks for all the suggestions!!!

Ok. First of all, is this blog on here? As in, is it you blog on the profile? Or is it on some other site. Because I would like to read it...
Nail care is a great idea, I need help in that area.
Maybe good styles for certain face shapes.
Or tips in wearing make up such as mascara or eyeliner or eyeshadow.
Also good exercise ideas.
And such.....

The blog should be found in my profile :) I've only got a few things but I can seriously only type so much before I get bored O_o Computers are my friends to a certain degree. So it seems nail care and good exercise tips will be next.

Since there are many different exercises for different areas of the body, I might make a separate section just for that.

Thanks again guys for the suggestions. Hey... I'm here for you ;)

Expanding on the exercises idea (which I also think would be good), I remember a phys ed teacher talking to my class a few years ago about not exercising the same area of the body too many days in a row. So maybe something about safe exercising practices or things to be careful about when exercising? There's probably a better way of wording that.

True. There are certain things you aren't supposed to do, and areas you can wok everyday of the year without having to give it a "break" (Like your abs!) But I've posted the first one ;) Yay for working on your thighs, and the good thing with the exercise I blogged, you can do this everyday too. ;)

you could do something like telling people how to make their teeth whiter, or how to make a homemade splint for a sprained finger, or how to make scars go away quickly, or how to naturally make lips fuller, or tips for hairstyles for different lengths and types of hair

Could you possibly do a blog on how to treat a shoulder or a wrist when you pull a muscle or hit them in a certain spot and temporarily immobilizes the shoulder/wrist?

I know sometimes when I hit those two spots, I lose control for a few minutes and I'm in major pain. But I have no money to see a doctor so I was wondering if there happens to be a home remedy that could ease the pain slightly?

I've used ice and icy hot pads/heating pads before but that doesn't work at all. Just makes things worst.

Personally... well it depends on what you are talking about really. If you mean caring for it, I'd say that it's your skin... if you mean exercising.. then your core... But your brain is also important and needs to be stimulated, but I think people can come up with their own ways to stimulate their brain :P

Just posted blogs on ab work out and nail care ;)

I'd like to jump in with support on the issue of nails. I personally have a lot of trouble with mine, and I have no idea what to do with them. Currently I just clip them all the way down around once a week because I don't know what to do about chipping, shaping them myself, or anything like that.

Just my two cents.

I think everything everyone is suggesting is great. Just a list of things I would like to learn about (May include some previously listed items)
-itchy scalp but no dandruff
-how fast DOES hair grow anyways?
-yeah, that dry winter skin
-horrible cuticles
-organic makeup/ lighter makeup that doesn't cause worse acne
-*cough* feminine health if you know what I mean, like not always having some sort of dumb infection...I really am not careless either just bad luck lately
-fighting depression when you live in a small town, have no friends, and no money to entertain yourself with
-cheap and easy health foods.

Thanks and good luck!

My suggestion would be how to effectively fight off a migraine. Since I'm always getting them about one or twice every week.

Or at least a way to subdue the pain until you take meds and have them kick in. Because during that time period, it seems to take forever. D;

I am curious about the following things:
How to get rid of slight bags/dark circles under the eyes
How to make pores smaller
Easier ways to make your make-up symmetrical (especially since I have unsteady hands)
Best foods to eat, in combination, to lose weight and be healthy along with exercise, disregarding "special" diets, and when to eat them

Good job and thanks for the info~! :3

How about a blog on stretching before exercising? This is often something people forget to do/don't know to do before exercising and end up really hurting themselves.

Also, got any help with shin splints? I have to walk all over campus and once in a while I will get them.

How about treating & preventing foot blisters too? Last time my friend told me to pop one and I really regreted it xD

I'm curious about the benefits, and drawbacks, of foods, herbal teas, and and supplements that are called herbal, organic, etc. Which ones really are what they say they are? Which ones have real benefits? How much is too much?

For instance, I like to drink herbal tea for the taste of it, but I also drink something like Celestial's Seasonings Tummy Mint when I have stomach problems. I've had no problems with it, but could others have?

Strengthening nails and hair, maybe? Moisturization of the skin? Perhaps quick-fatburning tips? You should pick a day and have a "healthy meals of the week" post. Pick a very healthy and fairly easy breakfast, lunch, and dinner recipie. I could help you with that part if you'd like me to :) I love to cook, and could definitely find you some good recpieies to use. You could try halloweeny recpies this week, and in november, perhaps some healthy variations of the fat and calorie-rich thanksgiving foods.

I'd love to read a blog with suggestions like these and the others' ideas incorporated.
