I'm bored tonight as I wait for my RP's to be posted on, and for my restaurant on face book to level.
(Don't ask for my face book your not getting it)
So I thought I'd pose this question to menewsha.
Am I crazy?
Let me explain why I ask this.
I am a girl. But I play a guy, in all RP's I play men.
I don't want to be a man, I also find men to be incredibly attractive.
But I just don't like playing female Characters, in fact even on this site I chose a Male avatar because, well I want people to think I'm male >.>
So I ask you...do you think I'm crazy.

I have no clue. I don't know you that well though, so you might be.
I play Cafe World and I'm working on leveling again. Is it hard to level in Restaurant City?
Ah, I just saw the rest of your question.
You're not crazy, not unless I'm crazy too. That's just my opinion though.
My user names are androgynous for a reason.

I don't see anything wrong with wanting to play male characters or have people think you're male on menewsha without the desire to actually be male.

No, you're no where near crazy. Until you sanity depletes and you loose interest in everything would I even consider you to be crazy.
Haha, I'm about to play RC right now. Still working on getting the Halloween dishes.
Oh, and I like to role-play as males too. It's just fun... same goes for me having a male avatar.

Maybe you're more comfortable writing from a male's perspective? I think everyone is a little crazy, but not mental asylum crazy. I don't think it's bad for a woman to play a man in rps. Think about the great authors out there, there's plenty of female authors that have to look into a perspective of men. So I don't think you're crazy.

You're not crazy. There are some games were I will play male characters or pretend to be male just to avoid harassment(read WoW). The only people on there who KNOW I'm female are in my raiding guild, and they got over the fact I'm female years ago as the guild has been together since 2004. I'm just one of the guys, which is what I want to be.
As for roleplays, I have an almost equal amount of male and female characters. Or I should say have as I've mostly retired from roleplaying. My favorite is still my completely insane male who thinks he's a different animal every time a bell rings. Oh man was he fun to rp :D

God its so nice knowing that I'm not the only person like that lol
I dunno I always felt like maybe my brain had been wired wrong XD
But you do make a really good point about some of the writers out there.
And I Agree with the wow thing too...It can be ridiculous to be female on there sometimes D:

Oh its very ridiculous. I've made the mistake of speaking on vent while in a pug on one of my alts. And oh god did I get bombarded by tells about how 'sexy my voice was'.
With my guild I only get wow your a girl things with new members to guild. They get over it after a while cause I don't milk it like I've seen some people do.

I find that a majority of female role-playing characters are not so interesting. Most suffer from a damsal in distress complex. =\ Not all, but most.

I'm born female and I RP as males all the time (gay males usually) and I find no problem with it at all. ^_^ Don't ever think that you're wierd or your "brain has been wired wrong," you're perfect the way you are.

None of my Female Charaters (the very few that I have)
And Damsels in distress...
They are damsels ....that are completely out there.
The only ones I have fun playing are totally crazy XD
I'm think it really is just a matter of ...wanting to play an interesting character.

Let me put it this way, you're no crazier than anyone else.
If anything, it shows how creative you are in that you can play something very different from yourself. Have you thought about becoming a writer?

I don't think you're crazy, a tomboy maybe, but definitely not crazy.
Most males do that you know, play as a female even though they are male.
I think it's because it's exciting to put yourself into another person's shoes.

Crazy? It's possible, I suppose. xD
Maybe you just fit better into the traditional male role than the female one. As far as gender stereotypes go, I'm pretty androgynous, so if I'm ever writing something I tend to go about 50/50 with the genders of my characters. Not all of us were born to be girly girls, I guess. I don't really understand the stereotypical female >_>
