Hmm... or you could just join a nudist colony that would prefer your nekkidness over wearing clothes. I'm sure there are a lot of them that would welcome you, with wide open arms. You know I've always wondered if it's mostly uhm... unattractive... people that gravitate themselves towards nudist colonies? I've never seen one, never even seen a nude beach. Have been to a topless beach but that's not the same... :3

We wear clothes because, unlike animals, we have a sense of modesty. Women especially. No offense.
|
Hmmm... women ESPECIALLY, huh... yeah.... like anyone wants to see a guys twig and berries blowing in the wind. I don't think so. That should say, men especially :P
|
Not my point. I'm saying our sense of modesty tells us we must wear clothing.
|
People should always have to wear clothing, or else I'd have no business. Lol.
|
Ironic, since your avi is bare.
|
I was in the process of changing! I would never walk around undressed unless it was infact, naked wednesday :P

What the heck!? Where do you live then? That's crazy!

I would be totally cool with more chicks walking outside without shirts on. :D

I have modesty. I enjoy clothes. I spend a lot on them.
However, I would like to know why there is no law stopping the large guy with huge boobies to wear nothing, but I cannot. I'm not too sexist; I just think he should wear a shirt. |
Hey - let the fat guy not wear a shirt! He worked hard on that body!
I think as long as you're in your own yard, you should be able to do whatever the hell you want. |
need to play so many games to get money

Let's not make fun of fat people...

I mean - you are complaining that "a large" fellow should put his shirt on. So is it okay if a fit male has his shirt off? Or do you think he should cover up too. |

So this is mostly about gender equality and not physical apperances - that's good to know.
I don't think I'd want to walk around topless but there sure are some days where I don't want to wear a damn bra. Damn society and their expectations... |
I don't go outside nor do I want to step outside and be near any of my neighbors. So...I rather not see anyone outside my house naked or anything. If I did I would just scream for them to put a freaken shirt on. I also haven't met a neighbor like that. I am sorry you go through that. XD

Dude, I know those laws. So weird, I think! It's like no one ever went back to get rid of the crazy laws. |
I had the same problem but he moved recently
And its not hypocritical. Its just different when you don't have the body to show it off. I went to an anime convention not too long ago as the classic tifa and was going to wear the shirt that shows my tummy. so I started exercising more. I'm about 5 ft and i weigh about 116. I'm not saying i'm big but i do have a lil of a pouch. and i know i feel uncomfy seeing people in clothes (well less clothes) and sometimes I'm uncomfy with what i see. so with my own self, I know i don't want to make other people uncomfortable. I even ended up not wearing a belly shirt just a regular t-shirt. But there's a lot of people who don't think about what others might be seeing which just sucks sometimes is all. Jeez this is a really touchy subject huh?

I'm fat, but I love it. I get more attention from men than anyone else I know. I don't need to walk around naked to show it. I just want men to have to wear shirts too.
|
i find it disturbing when a big guy would be outside shirtless. it's one thing if he were in his own house and i just happened to see him thru the window.

But I much rather have someone say that regardless of size, clothing should be worn instead of "oh - well if he's hot then he can have his shirt off but if he's not, please put it away." As for your cosplaying, I think it's all an opinion of feeling comfortable yourself. I know plently of girls who did silent hill nurses that were skinny but because they were uncomfortable about how short the skirt was, wore things like shorts or made the skirt longer so they wouldn't feel awkard. I think that if a person is comfortable with their own body, then they won't worry about how others feel about them - and this can be taken as two different things where a person realizes that perhaps something revealing isn't a good idea or that the attitude of "who the hell cares - I think I look good and that's all that matters." Yep, one complex subject certaintly. Imagine if clothes just never existed at all. |
