Carving pumpkins. I'm not quite sure what I want to do, though. Ah, well. Inspiration will come to me. I'm also wearing a costume, despite the fact that I'm "too old." I guess I've never lost that childhood interest of "dressing up." I'm being the Takarazuka rendition of Der Tod from the German musical, Elisabeth. I enjoy being things that no one else would think to be.

I concur!! And how are you going to carve the pumpkin? For me, I kind of want to try something elaborate, despite the fact that I know it would never come out right. Haha.

I carve pumpkins every year with my family, I still dress up and buy a whole load of candy and watch horror movies with my younger sister. Some times we go out west a bit to where a person we know has mowed down their fields into the shape of a 10acre maze and I'd take a flashlight and try to find my way out. It would have been a lot better if my friend was here to go with me. =3

Carve fake pumpkins? Sounds interesting... so what do you do for that? Do you like go to the arts and crafts store and get those styrafoam like things and carve them, and then spraypaint them........ you know, I should do that. That sounde like fun >:)

We already carved our pumpkins. =D Lots of fun. It's pretty much the only thing I get to do for Halloween any more, other than sit around and watch horror movies and scary specials on TV.

i can't carve pumpkins. one reason is i can't afford to buy one. T_T also, i just suck at it. when i was a little kid, i used to draw a face on a pumpkin and enter it in the pumpkin contest at my elementary school's Halloween carnival. the last time i did that, i used a home grown pumpkin, and mine was so small in comparison to all the others. mine was only about a third the size of the others. it made me feel so insignificant! T_T

I myself actually just finished carving a pumpkin [x . Rather then going trick or treating though . i would rather stay home && give candy out to all the adorable trick or treaters.

Eh, just getting some vampire fangs and hoping to freak out little kids. And as for pumpkins, I'll prolly use one of the Homestar Runner stencils.

I'm going to carve a pumpkin and I'm going to try and carve a zucchini. I think the green squash will make an excellent monster jack-o-lantern. I can't decide though if it should have a little mouth and big alien eyes, or a large mouth with lots of teeth and three eyes.

I won't be able to carve a pumpkin this year - last year I tried to do it by myself and made a "dragon." It was... interesting. I'd like to try again though.

I carved four baby pumpkins,
but I guess I didn't clean them out properly, because within a couple of days they got moldy and rotted.
I've got one pumpkin left, and I have yet to carve it.

This year for halloween I'll be handing out candy. Usually my brother and I spend the day decorating the yard in spooky grave yard fashion, complete with bones and man eating spiders.
I am very tempted to get dressed up and go trick or treating this year, or at the very least get dressed up and drag my poor younger brother out geocaching with me.

I don't usually carve pumpkins, if I get one handed to me I'll take it and carve but other wise I don't. We have a lot of dinks in our area and some years they swip decorations (or destroy them) and smash pumpkins so we don't even tend to leave our decorations up over night.
