I usually carve them, and my family would make them cool. Not like the silly old jack-o-latern faces, but like cartoons or video games.

Last year, my pumpkin had a Boo on it, it was so cute. Then my Mom and sister's pumpkin has Mac and Bloo on it. (From Foster's home for imaginary friends)

Except, I can't carve a pumpkin, I find it very hard. I have no upper strength, the least I could do is just puncture it.

I've only painted pumpkins when it came to Elementary school contests, that was it. I've never eaten a pumpkin either, like not right off the bat.

I also don't like the idea of smashing, as long as it is your own pumpkin it's fine. But when it's other people's that is just mean.

If I had the choice I would carve the pumpkin. In elementary and high school our class would carve a pumpkin and it was tons of fun! I haven't carved a pumpkin with my family yet because of the mess it makes. =_=

I hate pumpkin smashers though. My street had its pumpkins smashed a couple years ago. It is very rude. If I really wanted to smash pumpkins I would buy my own ones.

None of the above. I just sort of... look at them. >∆>
I used to carve them, but it's too messy, and it never turns out right anyways. Once, I tried painting one, but the paint got all goopy and smeary. ...And I don't think I'm aggressive enough to smash a pumpkin.
