i'm 5'3, which is a few inches shorter than most of my friends.... they call m short. but i dont feel short, really. *shrugs*

I am 5'3 3/4" and it is NOT fun! Especially when ALL of your friends except for the ten year old are taller than you!!!

I do enjoy being people's arm rest. That means if I get mad at them they're right next to me and I can do worse things to them closer up.

ok I'm not short but when I'm around my friends and family they all dwarf me by about 6 inches. not so fun.

I am 21 and I am 5'8". I consider my self tall though. For some reason I wish I was taller. I mean, I always wanted to be 6', but it didn't happen. Oh well, I am content with my height. Small cars seem to be a problem for me though. :|

I'm average height for a woman (5'4"), but I always feel freakishly short because I have a majority of tall friends. Also, I am proportioned funny and have short legs. I feel like that dachshund from "All Dogs Go To Heaven"- I have to walk at double speed when with my friends and often have to shout "Hey! Short legs!" to remind them that I am being left behind.

This is why I prefer biking to walking any day.

I'm 4'7". Shelves love to mock me. When I was learning to drive, I had to sit on pillows in order to be able to see over the steering wheel. I keep getting kids menus in restaurants because, on top of being short, I have a young face. 8P That's actually decreased, though, thank goodness.

But it's fun being short because... I don't know, you're unique that way. Why blend in?

my dad is 6'3" and my mom is 5'4". thankfully, according to science, i will be 5'6" or 5'7" when i stop growing. thats semi-average, right?

i have a VERY young face, everbody thinks im younger than i am. T.T last year i was in a 5/6 split class, so i was with 5th and 6th graders, and everybody thought i was a 5th grader, even though i was taller than nearly all the 6th graders (they're all shorties). and once i was at wild waves with my friend, she had just turned 10 and i was turning 13, and she is several inches taller than me. we asked these 2 other girls how old they thought we were, and they guessed that she was 13 or 14, and that i was 8 or 9...i was stunned. (thats 4 or 5 years difference!) XD and thats only 2 of many examples.

my best friend is 12 and 5'7", nearly 5'8". O.o when she stops growing, she will be 6'2". she is literally half a head taller than me (well, thats how i say it), the top of my head is right where her nose is. XD her tallness makes me look even younger than i already do in comparison!

never grew higher than that.

I'm only 5 feet tall barely and have all the same problems as you! Although I don't look as young as I used to and I'm older then you. When I was 20 I went to apply for a job and they told me I had to be atleast 16 to work there when I asked for an application. >.< lol

I'm 5'43/4", almost 5'5", but not quite. I guess that's not too very short, about average I think. And I'm already as tall as I'm going to get.

I'm 4'5. It's hilarious how people predict how old I am. I tell them my real age and then they say ," NO WAY!" Its getting pretty boring now...:O

I know how you feel. My cousin is one year older than me. Then boom... She's taller :p. i can't stand being short....
