I had an epic dream before. :] It was from when I was little, like maybe 8 or 9, but I still remember it.

In my dream, I woke up. It was kind of dark in the room, the color of dawn begins to crack. The blue-air feel, kind of thing. I was on the bed, and my mum and sister was next to me, quietly sleeping away. Not feeling tired in the dream, I got up, and then saw the closed curtains done on the windows. I undid it, and then I literally saw rainbows. It was almost as if the building I was in was a million stories higher from Earth, and it didn't feel scary. When I opened it, there was light, and I saw mountains, lakes, rivers, and all that great landscape. It's quite a vivid picture painted in my mind. :] And that was the end of it, I think. O:

Another one from like two weeks ago included escaping to a normal world through a toilet. :( Don't ask. xD :D

There is one dream I may never forget. Well there are a few dreams I may never forget, but this one is my most recent, ever since this dream its seem like its happening to me.

I was at a swimming pool and my little niece had some how gotten to the latter and got into the pool. She was drowning and I rushed in after her, I grabbed her and handed her to my boyfriend. He pulled her to safety, but something was wrong with me, I couldn't swim. I screamed for him and he dove in after me, he swam grabbing my arm and pulling me up. The water was so slippery and I was drowning, but I knew I was a VERY good swimmer, so why the heck was my body so numb. His every touch made me fall a little more... Finally... He gave up on trying to save me, as I sunk I had seen him getting out, a female hand stretched out to help him as he looked back and smiled. As I seen myself through his eyes I turned into a timer, floating to the bottom of the clear water I seen myself with all but 9 mins to live.

Creepy, but it seems like every day that goes by he drifts farther away, and he has been giving up on me. Not only that but my patience is growing thin and I'm feeling more numb every day, his touch I can barely feel and it makes my heart grow cold.

My dreams are not normal but I like them, they revolve around my dream self(I was smart enough to create one of those really young so I could control my dreams to a certain extent) who is an eternal guardian of the coldfire(I was 5 when I came up with this idea) which is essentially the force that runs through everything in every dimension and hold everything together; essentialy it is the ultimate force in existence. In my dreams my dream persona(who I will not describe because I plan to make a book or video game based on her and her adventures) pretty much jumps through space time dimensions(not like doctor who because these dimensions encompass everything from manga/anime style dimennsions to ones that seem real until I wake up) and pretty much goes on adventures and fights the evil forces trying to disrupt certain balances in certain dimensions and occasionally "accidentally" destroying or contaminates a dimension because the battle with the negative forces causes her to lose control(this has only occured 20 times). if there are no evil forces to fight it turns into a treasure hunt or assasin style dream or at it's mushiest a flashback to her childhood before a incident that destroyed her home dimension. I don't want to wake up half the time because my dreams are better than TV and video games, I mean really what i posted here isn't even touching the surface of my dreams and doesn't even begin to describe them. I mean really my dreams are just that cool to me, you may think they are wierd but I like em(especially since the idea of my dream persona has evolved to the point where I can turn my nightmares into good dreams) and they are very entertaining. I am also a expert daydreamer as in I can be awake and literally daydream"as in see the dream like movie during the day" and it is really cool, one of my favorite ways to daydream is to put some form of my dream persona(most of the time a weaker form) into my favorite shows....
well that is my dreams, you may think it is a crazy kind of dreamworld but i like it...

Wow that is truly interesting.... I hope I stumble upon your book and or video game someday!

I've tried to do something similar with my dreams, but I don't really have complete control over them. How did you manage to get so much control over your dreams? I know that thinking about something a lot before you go to sleep has an affect on your dreams, but having complete control is awesome!!! My dreams come in so many different forms, from video games to real life.

In fact I've woken up before and I actually pulled something out of a dream of mine, this was when I was VERY young. I was truly scary, but it gave me hope that dreams come true, in a strange way, I felt powerful. Ever since then I've wanted to wake up and find myself holding what I had before I woke. Its never happened again though, maybe it wasn't true, maybe I was just a very imaginative child, but I'm positive that I had never seen that item before. You may think I'm crazy, but its something that keeps me going.

Dreams are strange, and I know how you feel about never wanting to wake up. you can travel to so many places, and do the impossible, I've flown a few times, swam with killer whales and I've solved mysteries.

Well I control my dreams by creating the ultimate dream persona and having a dream library to store my bad dreams doesn't hurt, a dream library is a imaginary place where you go to after you havve a bad dream to lock the dream away(mine is barracaded behind a forcefield, adamantium doors, and a diamind plated titanium steel door with mystic seals on all the doors to keep those bad dreams in the library) you put it in a book and put it on a shelf and then RUN OUT OF THE LIBRARY AS FAST AS YOU CAN AND LOCK THE DOORS BEHIND YOU!!! You shouldn't have bad dreams again if you do it right but you have to convince yourself the dream library is a "real" place or it won't work. i do not think you are crazy for having pulled something out od dreams you had mainly because I have woken up from a dream where I robbed a bank with a 20$ bill in my hand when I was 4, it was brand new too other than that incident I will wake up with scratch or claw shaped red marks on my skin that my hands could not have made after I have had one of those fighting evil dreams I mentioned. I don't think about what I want to dream about before I go to sleep(that doesn't work), I daydream and drift to sleep without inturrupting said daydream and since I had absolute control over the daydream I have 90% control over my real dream; it may sound silly but if you are a master at daydreaming then you can easily control normal dreams.
The places my dreams take me vary from ancient Japan with alot of anime influences concerning the myths to modern day europe on a mission for the MI5(I have a backstory for how my dream persona got involved in that but I will save that for a book or video game) you know kinda like a female James Bond without the romance but with better weapons and skills.
And if you dream in video games that might be another way to learn to control your dreams, just create a imaginary game controller and when you are going to sleep imagine it is there in your hands and you use it to control your dreams; my tactic before i gained control of my dreams was magic portals in a hidden room in my family's attic that defied the laws of physics and I stored my weapons, mythical creatures and I had a whole multitude of underground reserves for wildlife and mythical beings(including ones I made up myself). The portals were on the very bottom floor and it was an adventure just to reach them but they were how I accessed my actual dreams that would become really interesting. Nowadays my dream self can control time/space multi dimensions so the hidden room is now used only for everything but the portals, but it is a good idea to use if you want to start controlling your dreams....
