The other crack
Yeah, we all have that one thing that we can not help but keep on sniffing it. It isn't a drug and I am pretty sure it isn't going to harm us when we do take a big whiff of it.
Mine is Pamper daipers. My husband and I just bought them after 7 and a half months of Huggies, which we are actually going to go back to it. Once I opened up the box and pulled out a diaper and caught the smell of the poweder, I couldn't stop sticking it up to my nose and sniff the wonders that it brings. Right before I stick it on my son's butt, which we all know it is better to it before than after, I have to smell it. It is just my big addiction. I am saddly to say, we are going back to Huggies, because my son has had more leaks with them than with Huggies. The bad part is, the box says 12 hours and my son sometimes don't even last 2. I just want to know if anybody out there has the same addiction I have to Pampers and the same as Crackheads have to crack(no, I am not wanting real crackheads to reply. Read the title "The Other Crack") |
I love the smell of Tide detergent. The powder not the liquid. Also I love the smell of fresh gasoline .

My absolute favorite smell of all time is the smell of a burning house.
HANG ON A MINUTE! I'm not a sadistic arsonist. I would never set fire to a person's home or wish it to happen. But when I DO smell it I just can't help it. I love it! It is a different smell than a burning wood or burning trash or a bon fire. It is the smell of a burning structure made of wood, paint, steel, and a lot of other things. And it is what my dad smelled like when he came home from work every day. He is a firefighter. And he is my hero. So yes, I get happy and giddy when I smell a burning house. |

Smells.
Like other people said I like the smell of gasoline... I don't know what it is about that smell but it seems everyone likes it. XD I also love the smell of new cars. I am sad now that after five years my car no longer has the new car smell. Although I do like the way the AC in my car smells, it's not exactly the same as the new car smell but it smells nice. I like the smells of most Bath And Body Works products, I use their soap, shower gel, body splash, etc all the time. They have so many wonderful different scents. I like the smell of the air at the beach. And I like the smell of suntan lotion. Anything that reminds me of the beach or swimming. I even like the smell of chlorine. I like the smell of clothes fresh from the wash with the smell of detergent on them. I like, to a minimal amount, the smell of nailpolish, but not when it is overbearing, I don't like it when it fills the entire room and is strong. More like after it has dried and only has a faint smell, mainly this particular one I have that has a scent where it is supposed to smell good, and I like that one. It is kind of weird because there is still a bit of the regular nailpolish smell, but after it dries on my nails, it smells good. Oh and as a kid I remember there used to be these markers that smelled nice. Like the purple one smelled like grape, the orange one smelled like oranges, etc. I liked smelling them. It was only later I learned that sniffing markers was bad. XD But these were supposed to be non toxic... Still not sure how good that can be for someone. I wonder if they still even make those markers.

Gasolone, Oxy-Acetylene, and candles. I cannot get a new candle without sniffing the hell out of it. I also love the smell that matches have right after you light them. That sulfur smell..mmmm.... so relaxing.

I love the smell of receipts and that yellowy business paper which the name of just slipped my mind. I sniff that paper any time I get my dirty little paws on it. I'm pretty much addicted to wet cement, too.

The smell when you walk into the perfume/shoe department of a chain store.
The inside of a VHS plastic case. Baby Oil. Faint smell of gasoline and wet paint. Downy, the liquid. I just can't quit it, I have a problem! |

I love the smell of people's chimneys. Whenever I smell the scent of burning coal it makes my day. I always look forward to winter because of this. :D |
I really like the smell of my pumpkin pie hand lotion. I bought a few weeks before Halloween, and after the first time I used it I fell in love with the smell. I tend to sit and smell the lotion for several minutes before applying the stuff to my hands. I also love the smell of new cars, burning wood, scented candles, gasoline, and a rainy breeze. Whenever I see it raining outside I either have to go outside or open my window just so I can smell the breeze. Watching rain and storms comforts me, and the scent of the breeze that blows through helps even more. |
You can snort it too, Caroline...hell, you could probably inject it too. It would kill you, but at least you'd be high when you went out.
My vices are probably Gain detergent/softener sheets, chocolate, and bacon. >_> |
I like the smell of shea butter, fresh pomegranates, vicks tissues, rain, and burnt matches :P
