I have a necklace that brings me good luck and its not a necklace youe see on a lot of teens but oh well I get luck from it weir cause I usualy have crapy luck and I saw my lucky number five times in one day 0,..o and I went a hole week with out smacking into a wall XD...

I usually wear gold because to me it's something that in my country you wouldn't understand. Um...I get bad luck wherever I go. My sister calls me the negative hands. Because my hands are negative just like Donghae. xD

i used to. it was the eye of horus. and it did seem to bring me luck. sadly i lost it and haven't been able to find it. i suspect it's behind my dresser which won't be found until we move out of this house...which could be another 10 years....

I think they work depending upon how much you want them to. I had one, but never really believed in it, hence why not much luck came my way. That one was a small keyring of a Japanese cat.
Now i just have my ring. I wouldn't say lucky so much as it is protective. I always feel safe when i wear it.
As for numbers, mine is 7 without a doubt. Not really sure why, i don't apply it to anything in particular, i just would choose it give n the choice.

I've never really been able to feel a particuliar number was lucky for me, not really sure why. Still I tend to have pretty good luck if you don't count my health so I guess I'm my own natural lucky charm XD.

I think it's phsycological.
You believe that your 'lucky' charm will make you perform better therefore you do actually perform better because it is in your intentions to.

I had a charm that I thought brought me luck - it was a little pikachu and my sister had the same one. One day I took her pikachu to an exam with me and I passed (I thought the only I could pass was with my lil' pikachu XD) and when I finished the exam I realised that it wasn't my pikachu because mine had a chipped ear and this one didn't.

I actually passed the test and realised that it's not luck at all. It's whether you want to do well or not.

If bad things happen to you like you're in a traffic jam and late for work or you fall into a puddle - this isn't bad luck. It's just life and the world. If you start scrreaming and yelling, it's not the world that's the problem - it's you.

So yeah. I don't believe in luck. You do what you gotta do. You guys all do so well you don't need a little charm to help you out :D

I have a pair of earings that have the bust of the Egyptian goddess Sekhemet, with needle quartz dropped under her. I only have luck if they are worn so Sekhemet is facing me. The only time I ever failed anything, was when I forgot and wore them the wrong direction.

So thats were I disagree Couture. I believed in myself, I studied hard for that test, I had faith in my good luck charms, but it wasn't enough.
Yet I've had tests I knew, just knew I was going to bomb. Didn't have time to study, wasn't prepares, but I wore my earrings the right way and I passed.

I totally believe in luck.

When I'm nervous about something, say for example an important date like an exam - I usually wear jewellery which my family and friends have bought me. I've always felt that sentimental objects carry some luck, or at the very least they increase my confidence when I wear them. It's like you can relax because looking down at the jewellery you know their thoughts are with you. :)

My lucky charm is this marker that I carry with me.No matter what happens,I'm always get the good end of the bargain.Once,I skipped a whole day of school inside school and never got caught cause of my marker.Then,the day I didn't have it,I got caught.It was weird so now I carry it with me all the time.

Well, I really don't have any lucky charms. I do have a rabbit's foot that is supposed to be good luck, but it's on a keychain collecting dust in my room. But I do have a fascination with the number five. It's always felt like a good number to me :3, and I've also put the number on the side of one of my cars on a game, and I've done so well with that car in the game >w<. But I do believe what Couture_myass said, I think that it's all psychological.

Lucky Charms I don't think work except for the cereal when I eat it, I feel lucky that I can afford it lol...

As far as jewelry goes, I don't necessarily consider it lucky. I have a star necklace from my best friend in the world, and a 3-stone diamond "hugs and kisses" ring from my Mom.

I have a lucky glass pig my Mom gave me that I take to exams and such, and my lucky numbers are 1, 5, and 12. =)

I wear a lucky rabbit's foot on a chain almost every day. I'd say I'm a pretty lucky person, and it's a good conversation starter too. People ask me about it everywhere.

Well, I'm actually really superstitious, and always do stuff like knock on wood, throw salt over my should, wish on stars, etc. I always wear an upturned pentagram (though that's actually more for protection than luck :P ) and I have 3 lucky numbers: 2, 17, and 207. XD

am i the only one that read this thread's title and thought "why are we discussing cereal?" and yes im serious. and i still didnt get it till a few sentences into the first post. XD i was staring blankly at it like "what? how is this connected...." i felt stupid once i figured it out. :sweat:

i totally believe in luck! i have yet to find a lucky charm, though...its a real disappointment, ive always wanted one, i have awful luck! and, i dont study. ever. so itwould be nice for tests.

I did at first myself secretly. I won't ever forget an episode of Married With Children where everyone in that family got cursed by a gypsy and they each had a lucky charm to ward off the curse. I remember Kelly Bundy's lucky charm was a box of Lucky Charms Cereal!! I laughed so hard when she embraced the box of cereal saying, They're magical delicious!! They're magically delicious!! i dont have any now, but i used to wear this necklace that i felt gave me a little luck, that is untill the day it broke and my luck didnt really change D= nowadays i dont really believe that luck comes out of an object, it just has to be from yourself or by fate

Wouldn't call myself unlucky though ^^ I've won free t-shirts and concert tickets before, So i think that's pretty lucky. :P

I only really have a lucky number (2), and I used to wear a locket every day--not because it was lucky, but because it was special. :3 If I didn't wear the locket though, I would feel awkward--which made me more clumsy, and therefore more unlucky XD

I usually have okay luck. On my off days I'll have really horrible luck though. I don't really have any lucky charms or anything, but my lucky number is 11.
