Sounds like something I would do. I don't like cooking and I'm terrible at it anyway. I don't like getting near all the hot things like the stove and oven. Usually when something goes wrong like stuff landing on the stovetop I just start yelling because I'm afraid to try to clean it up with the stove being hot. @[email protected] I generally try to avoid cooking but my mom likes to try to get me to do it.

Haha, don't worry. I can't cook at all and I would probably have just burnt myself to a crisp if I'd tried to fix that. XD

I have the same problem, i tend to get worked up over little things, like how i can't make a overeasy egg because i'm afraid that i'll get a egg shell in my food or won't be able to flip the egg right. XD

Hmm, for me growing up, that sounds like something my mother would have done, and I would have been the one banning her from the kitchen. D=

I suck at cooking - I leave it to my mom and sister. Seriously, my friends say I make the worst grilled cheese T-T

But when the pot boils over you... take it off the burner 'til it calms down... Wow.
To be fair, I suck at cooking. My worst kitchen experience involved candy-making, though. Managed to burn a lot of sugar. Nougat: Do not try making it at home. XD

As for the cooking, I'm not so good myself either. My best friends dad on the other hand is really good and is always showing us these neat tricks and stuff.
Yesterday I was over there and we discovered that the only popcorn they had was a bag of un-popped kernels and no way to pop them. Her dad came to the rescue and showed us how "he used to do it as a kid". He got out a pan and put some oil in it. After the oil was warm he added the kernels and put the lid on. We heard the popcorn popping and all was going well until the lid popped off...apparently he added too much corn.
After the lid came off he tried to transfer the already popped corn to a bowl while there were still kernels popping themselves. Popcorn kept landing on the hot stove too and burning up badly.
Aftermath...the kitchen was covered with popped corn.

That made me smile. I used to consider making cereal cooking, but now I can actually cook, yay.
However I'm not allowed to use matches or cigarette lighters :P

I wish I would be banned from the kitchen. I don't know why anyone should let me cook, I'm horrible at it and I hate doing it too. D:
I, personally, cannot make those little oven pizzas. I don't know why. All you have to do is put them in the oven and take them out, but somehow I always manage to fuck that up. So I have my boyfriend help me. It is the most pathetic thing ever.
