who here has heard that the earth will end in 2012. i dont want to believe it. it scares me. IM TO YOUNG TO DIE!!!!!

I think pretty much everyone knows about it, they did make money off it with that stupid film after all.

They also said the world was going to end in 2000 so don't pin your hopes on croaking in 2012..but on the bright side if we do all croak in 2012 we won't have to not win at our own Olympic games.

I agree with Jeanie that "You are never too young to die." They often have these things coming out to scare people. Try not to worry about it.

I didn't bother, the trailer looked rubbish. I haven't seen any of these end of the world films they seem to like making recently. They don't interest me in the slightest.

i watched the one with the guy from national treasure and it was ok but it kind of got me thinking which if you knew me u would know that is a bad thing

it wasnt my fav movie but it was watchable. then again i dont have very good taste in movies cuz my favs r the twilight saga... Twilight and New Moon

Aanyway, 2012 would it really be bad if we did die? It's not like it would make much difference. Life would end but then it wouldn't matter because you wouldn't care at that point. It just seems pointless to worry about death, it's creepin up on ya every single day and one day it's gonna get ya.

I just have two friends obsessed with it always trying to get me to watch it even though they know I don't like it. I managed through the first one but no way going to the second. We'll just push that into the corner there and stick to world destruction eh? ^_^

We all have a ramble sometimes. I just waffled on to myself in the shower about my fiance.

I think it'll probably be all right, besides it's what three years away not much point fretting for three years about what could happen. May as well enjoy the time you have and not worry.

Eh, don't worry too much about 2012. Remember 2000 and the Y2K virus? Or there was 666, June 6th '06 where the Devil was supposed to be released from Hell and kill us all. Or 777, July 7th '07, where God was supposed to cleanse the Earth of all evil.....

yeah, don't worry about it to much. Either way though me and my friends are getting drunk that day, so we'll either celebrate our deaths, or we'll laugh at everyone that was wrong, in our drunken glory. *giggles*

So I have heard that the world is going to end but not in the explode and turn to dust sort of way. More like in the computers and technology are going to go away. That Mother Earth is going to take over and reclaim its right to the earth. I'm so ok with that and hope it does happen. Im actully really sick of how dependent we all are on cell phones and email and everything has to be done right now or it will never happen.

I know if that happened there would be mass panic and people would go crazy and riot, but I'm ok with that too. I'd love to run for the hills and learn to live off the land.

Well I REALLY doubt that anything is going to happen but if it does I will be living with Bambi and Thumper...and eating them, hehe... in order to survive....and just having a grand old time.

Nah I wouldn't worry about it. If something bad were to happen I'm pretty sure we'll be alerted immediately. Oh yeah BTW my birthday was at 7/7/7. Nothing special really happened. Supposedly something bad were to happen at that day and stuff....

I wouldn't worry too much about it, but if it does happen so be it. Someone told me that the reason people think the world will end in 2012 is because its based off the Mayan calendar, but the Mayans didn't finish the calendar because they didn't think the earth would last that long. So, yeah.

meh twenty twelve is actually technically supposed to be a reawakening of the powers of nature. Supposedly that is meant to wipe out the nonbelivers of magic, destroying them all!!!! nah. really, nature is supposed to reawaken and bring magic back to our world.

Yeah. I don't think anything is going to happen. Just like with year 2000, there was so much hype about computers going down, etc. But in the end, nothing happened. Like you said, we'll just have to wait and see.

I don't believe Earth CAN end in 2012, maybe in the few generations later, but definitely not in my time. ^_^
The world might become a place too tough to live in, everything will cost so much, but it won't end I think.
