I would have to say I was torn between Teleportation or flying.
But shapeshifting seems pretty sweet too. There's just so many places I'd love to see and visit and having the ability to get there without having to pay a steep fee is appealing. |
I want the ability to control lightning, electricity, and the such. Being able to zap like that is the coolest ever. ZZZZZZZZZAP

I would love to have the powers of teleportation, shape shifting and mind control telepathy. Although since mind control telepathy is so powerful and corruptible I would use it at a very dull minimum. But just one? *sigh* I suppose if I had to have just one teleportation could come in most handy in my life currently. So I would take that ability. |

I think teleportation would be a totally kick-butt ability. I mean, you could never be late for anything regardless of traffic! Wouldn't that be tight? :3

I would like to have the power of Electricity. I think that would be awesome! Yeah your weakness is water. But you just don't go in to the shower charged up. ANd were a rain coat in the rain. But I think it would be awseome!

I know you said only one...but if i chose i would choose to be like a bender of Water,Earth,Air and Fire... if you don't know what im talking about its a show i use to watch called Avatar the last airbender its a Anime/cartoon type show on nickolodeon... and that would just be cool to me! i could be able to protect people
*edit or maybe the power to leap through time...like on the Anime movie the girl who leaped through time..except without limits..like i don't run out of numbers or whatever ah yes whoever said shapeshifting that would be cool too! i could protect people doing that too!! like turn into a tiger or even a dinosaur XD id probally turn into a giraffe alot since they are my favorite animal...id be in the yard like that and my mom would be like .. don't let the neighbors see you! |

Oh man, that's a tough one!
In my rpgs, I've imagined myself most with having magic. Other times, I've played someone who could influence others with her voice (Jedi Mind Trick), but couldn't turn it off. Lately, I've been wondering what it'd be like to be an ectomancer (a.k.a. medium, ghost whisperer, etc). If I HAD to choose from the three, I'd pick the gift of magic. If that wasn't allowed, I'd choose ectomancy. |
I'd like to be able to breathe underwater (No gills please!) Then no worries about drowning ^^

I personally like the powers of Rogue from xmen since with just the slightest touch you can have any powers you want ...though unfortunatly side effect include having the memories of said person and the whole 'untouchable' thing too.. but then again they didn't say that last part wasn't 'cureable' xD

If I were being purely selfish, and not like thinking about all the good that I could do for others, I would like to have the ability to Glamour. Kinda like shapeshifting, but not actually shifting, just making everyone see me (and feel me too, I think) as I want to be seen. I can be either gender, any age, any color or race... that would be so cool. Also, I could be wearing whatever I want! I could be my own dress-up dolly and no shopping or paying or anything!!! There would never be any worries about weight or acne and no bad hair days. I could fit in, or stand out, in any crowd. It would be amazingly fun! Of course it would be even better if I was immortal, too. Just more time to enjoy it all. And I really would try to enjoy it all.

Definitley shape shifter for me. I would be able to change into anything or anyone I've ever seen, mythical or otherwise. I think my top three forms would be a wolf, a fairy and a mermaid.

I pondered this question long and hard when I was younger and came up with the answer. Despite all the wonderfully fun things that can be associated with super powers, I've always wanted to be useful and help people. So the power I desire is that to heal those who are sick or wounded.
