There's a few things that either scare me or make my skin crawl.

Moths, if they're large, terrify me D: I just can't stand their erratic flight, and their insistence of getting right up in my face. They're ugly and they just scare me.

Telephones scare me loool. I can't call people for shit, strangers or people close to me. My mind goes blank and I basically say nothing. Makes calling my girlfriend pretty challenging :<

One thing that makes my skin crawl is when things aren't even. For example, if I click my left index finger, I have to click my right index finger as well, or else I go crazy. This also sometimes applies to objects, for example a box of tissues on a desk has to be right in the center.

Spiders and germs are my major phobias.

Every time I see a spider, I start hyperventilating, sweating, and jumping around. I have to get away from the area the spider is in pretty much immediately or I'll breakdown in tears. I'm not exaggerating. I just have a major problem with spiders.

Germs. How they disgust me. I cannot and will not use a public restroom. I can't touch door handles and rails with my bare hands. I have to wash my hands pretty much after I touch any object that's been in contact with another person. When another person's used towel is on the rack in my bathroom, I have to move it off the rack so it won't touch my towel. When I wash my hands anywhere in my house, I have to get a clean towel out to wipe my hands with. I can't use a towel that's already been used.

Wow. I wrote a lot...

Spiders and any other kind of bug or worm, heights, and drowning. I will not go near a swimming pool.

Pandy 04-06-2010 04:17 PM

Other people throwing up -- seriously, I start shaking and crying. u _ u
Steep, narrow stairs
hearing other people chew

Oh yeah, and cephalopods! Ew >.<

melonmilk 04-07-2010 09:36 PM

Oh god, ants. I can't eat bread anymore, because once I picked a up a piece and there were ants burrowed in it. And floating in my soup. It sounds stupid, and I'm normally good with bugs, but ants I can't take. Even writing about it makes me feel sick. ._.
I have to disinfect the kitchen surfaces and put away food now that it's gotten hotter, and I've sealed up all the cracks in the kitchen and sprayed ant killer. I feel like an idiot, but a safe idiot. :P
Oh, and when someone burps or coughs, I can't breathe in until I leave the area. I bet other people do that too, but I'm getting pretty good at holding my breath, lmao. I can just SEE the germ particles move through the air towards me. ^^;

Oh my god, I didn't read this before I commented but I used to have both of those! (Is it okay to post twice? sorry..)
Moths I'm better with now, but that even thing I still have real problems with. Like tablecloths that are on slightly squint, or tapping my foot. It has to be the same tapping rhythm or I go a bit weird. But for me it doesn't make me feel bad or freak me out, just.. like I have an itch or something.
My mom thinks I'm ''on the spectrum''. ;)

icandiee 04-07-2010 11:02 PM

SPIDERS! >____<;;
I don't like people touching me either, I make weird squeaky sounds, when they accidentally brush me D:

I can stand about everything else though. Me and my friends even re-did that one Fear Factor where they had tarantulas crawling all over you, and later the same day we had slugs crawl all over our faces and one tried to go in my nose and mouth. That was a fun day XD

But yeah, clowns and stuffed animals.

If you haven't seen Scary Movie 2 yet, don't watch it. It has a clown doll. xD

I have two phobias, but I'm just going to tell you one of them because it's too personal.

I'm afraid of wild mice. You don't know where they been, they might have rabies or other diseases. Pet store mice I love to hug and cuddle, but the wild ones...the ones they live outside in garbage...they scare the hell out of me. One time, there was a mouse in the garage, and I took a peek through the door of my kitchen to look at it. It scurried across the garage and I freaked out.

And the next day, I had to go to the garage to go outside to my driveway to wait for the bus. I couldn't go in the garage. I had to make my mom carry me by the arm and take me to the other side. :gonk:

I have a phobia of being alone. I know this might seem like more of a fear, but it's not. If I am completely alone, I cry and literally freak out. If I am ever home alone, I either have to have someone on the phone with me or one of my dogs in the room with me at all times and sometimes that's not even enough and I have to go over my boyfriend's house. I'm not sure as to why I developed this phobia. Hopefully it gets better. D:

When I was little I had a fear of Windshield wipers. YES, windshield wipers. I couldn't stand them. Anytime it would rain while I was in the car I would scream and cry my head off. It would get to the point where the driver would have to pull over because I just couldn't stand them being on. Dangerous. I think this phobia happened because of a dream I had about the windshield wipers taking over the world and killing me when I was little. I have long gotten over that fear (thank God.)

Another fear I had when I was a baby was the automatic flushing toilets. It got to the point where I would hold whatever was inside of me just so I didn't have to use the toilet which was very dangerous for my health. I long gotten over that one to ever since one flushed while I was on it and I realized that I was not dead. Ha.

I have a huge fear of being raped/kidnapped. Every night I have to go around my house making sure that all the doors and windows are locked securely. Some nights, though, I am not able to go to sleep properly because I am afraid someone will break in. This might tie into my phobia of being alone.

Another fear is falling. (I actually just recognized that fear because my boyfriend tipped my chair over to mess around and I freaked out.) I'm not sure how this fear developed. Maybe because I used to always have dreams that I was falling and would fall out of my bed, hitting my head on my night stand in the process.

I think I've written all of my phobias/fears. (: Enjoy xD

Open water, like the ocean or a really big pool, scares the crap out of me.
If you can't see the bottom, I'm not swimming in it.

metalSin 04-10-2010 08:37 PM

lol clock, my fear is similar except I LOVE the thrill of knowing I could be swept away! But I am terrified of drowning.. possibly because I almost died as a child, my sister saved my life ;p yes she was a life guard and was watching me be a silly child. If not for her.. I might have like brain damage! *knocks on head* well I might be slightly off.. but its who I've always been not due to swallowing water.

Oh PS PS Clockwerk I was NOT laughing at you! I was simply amused that someone shared a similar fear!

Black.x.Heart 04-10-2010 09:13 PM

I have a phobia of swimming over deep holes in the ocean. Which kinda sucks because I love the water. But being over a hole that I cant see down just freaks me out! Oh and dead things, like bugs. Always scared they might come back to life (or look dead, but not be dead) and jump or something. Though I know it couldn't come back to life.

And I have a fear of dolls. Hate them, they're creepy. :gonk:

I'm not sure if this would be listed as a phobia or fear, or something else. But when the doorbell rings I freaaak out. Unless someone planned to stop by around a certain time it wont be as bad. However, if it's random/unplanned I'll hide away from the door and basically have a panic attack. My heart beat increases & I get really hot feeling. But if I think that the person saw me (since my door has a freaking window on it ) I'll have to answer the door or I think they wont go away. Then I'll be all shaky & not know what to say. ;_;

Forsaken Eyes 04-10-2010 09:23 PM

i really HATE bees but ive never been stung though ^.^
I hate bugs i mean wat r they good for???

kokonimo 04-10-2010 11:45 PM

Ha ha, yeah, spiders creep me the heck out too. It definitely lies in the way they walk. They walk all freaky like, all them legs going and they still manage to walk in a straight line. I can't do that with two.

ASakuraZaki 04-12-2010 02:14 PM

Well, I get these strange days when people touching me really makes me feel like I wanna throw up. It's kinda hard living with a boyfriend that wants attention, alot of it.
Also, well. There's another person inside my head. I have a split personality, and I'm kinda scared of him. He's the total opposite of me, he's violent and cruel and couldn't care less about others' feelings.

But my worst fear must be windows in the dark. I am scared to DEATH going near windows when it's dark outside, specially if they're large windows. But I can't sleep with the curtains open, either, because I'm afraid someone will look inside if I keep them open. I'm just SO scared that when I look to the window, there's no-one there, turn around, and when I look back there's someone staring at me. I actually fear that those zombie-like-creatures will come through my window to get me >_>

The other one is that I will never ever ever turn my light on when I've already gone to bed. I rather just try to find my way to the bathroom in the dark, because I'm scared that, once again, if I turn the light on, someone will be standing right next to me, staring at me, with an ill intend.

...I'm really scared of staring, huh?

TalkingBackwards 04-12-2010 05:03 PM

Open water and telephones. I'm terrified of swimming in deep water. Even if I can see the bottom. Around 10 feet deep I start to get pretty damn nervous. I just recently realized I'm scared of it, too. Kind of a childhood fear that I thought I had gotten over, but never really did. I kept having weird, scary dreams about deep water and such, and couldn't figure out why they were so scary. Derp. That explains it.
As for telephones, I've been terrified of them ever since I was little. Even when I'm talking to someone I know reeeally well. It's frustrating, because you can't really get anything important done if you're scare of the phone. It's a little better if someone's calling me and I pick up, but it's usually nearly impossible to work up the nerve to actually call someone myself.

vomity 04-12-2010 06:12 PM

I'm afraid of dolls and clowns. Not for the reasons most people are, though. I didn't see the Chucky movies or Stephen King's "IT" when I was little. I used to have unexplainable nightmares about clowns when I was really little. And I've never been able to handle being alone in a room with a doll.

I'm also afraid of the dark.

I'm not quite "agoraphobic" but I do get a lot of anxiety about leaving the house.

musikfreakx 04-12-2010 09:48 PM

Phobias: I only have one main phobia. Clowns. Not just because of It (though that made it worse). I've always been afraid of them. I'd have bad nightmares when I was little and what makes it worse is that there was once a headline about this clown guy for a traveling carnival, who in his mind was still young, but had murdered a family or something. I can't stand them. I saw one flipping through the channels on TV and I started crying. My dad thinks it's funny to pause the TV when a clown comes up and call me into the living room. I hate it. I start yelling but soon after, when I get alone, I'll start crying really bad. Nice clowns, mean clowns, WHATEVER. They all scare me. I hate them. I have a deathly phobia of them and it will most likely never go away.
Fears: Dolls. Porcelain dolls. I hate them. It's a near phobia. I've had so many bad (paranormal) experiences with them. My mom loves them. My sister used to give me her old ones. I hate them. I hate them. I hate them. Yes, I do hate them. Ewie. Agh! D: Not cool. Not cool.

shinigamikarasu 04-13-2010 09:57 PM

Centipedes. It's not because they're bugs or have too many legs of anything like that. They just hate me. We only get the little ones up here, but whenever one gets in the house it always chases me. Like whichever direction I go in, it follows. At least until I find a shoe to squish it with.

Zombierella 04-14-2010 06:16 AM

Bugs. I am completely terrified of bugs.

paperstar 04-14-2010 11:02 AM

Heights: Because when I look down .. My stomach starts to feel all tingly..
It feels like I am about to commit suicide/ someone is pushing me.

2girls1cup: Me and my cousin watch it out of boredom. It's so freaking gross.
If I think about it. My appetite is gone. > o >

Dark Hallways: When ever I passed by in dark hallways. I get goosebumps..
Because I think of ghosts. etc. etc.

Zombierella 04-14-2010 07:41 PM

One of my fears is being alone, not so much relationship wise (boyfriend or husband.), but people-wise. The ones I care about. My friends, my family. :(

HenryFBP 04-17-2010 02:08 AM

Balloons (Yes, I hate the noise and they pop easy, Lol it's super funny)

And long hallways, no reason for this, just REALLY creepy.

LilAnimeEarth 04-18-2010 01:19 AM

I fear scary animals, and animals with rabies.

payas0 04-18-2010 02:16 AM

My skin crawls whenever i hear musics that i dom't like.
Im afraid of being rejected.
Im afraid to approach anyone.
Thats why i spend all my time over the net and make friends on sites like this.
I don't know why, i don't have any real friends.
I only have online friends ..

sailor star rainbow 04-18-2010 03:33 AM

I have a fear of the darkness ever since I was a little girl. I can't sleep with out a night light on in my room at night. don't ask I'm not even sure how I became fired of the dark.

one other problem I have is roach's I can't stand them nasty little bugs. as a kid and in my early teens I all ways had to get someone to kill them for me. now that I'm adult I can kill them pretty well unless it's a huge out door one. those suckers are hard to kill even with a broom.
