Oh, It was a long time ago and when we used to live in California. I was alone in the kitchen and I saw the rice steamer and the smoke was coming out of it. So I thought "Hey...(There are more thoughts right here but I can't remember.)" then I just stick my palm right on the hole where the steam is coming up from the pot. My hand or palm I should say, was just on fire. D: It hurt...like holy hell.

You see that steamer on the top. Oh, My little palms were hurting. Dx

When I was 2 1/2, I ate an entire tube of cinnamon chapstick on Christmas Eve because I liked the texture and the way it smelled. I vomited for almost an hour on Christmas Day. Huzzah!

Guess who can't stand cinnamon ANYTHING anymore? Well, other than cinnamon rolls, which are damn tasty...

I've done a lot of dumb things as a child, but I barely remember them. I think one of the dumber things I've done as a child was accidentally traumatize my aunt's cat.

Apparently when I was younger I played "Shake and Bake" with that cat. You see, she had one of those crinkly kitty bags that cats like to play in. Well, she was playing in that bag and I wanted to play with the cat. So what do I do? I start shaking the bag like crazy, only I'm holding the bag open side up. So I'm shaking and shaking while wondering why the cat wasn't coming out.

She never forgave me for that one. :gonk:

Kaci: That's exactly why I'm extremely nerves when it comes to pets and kids, not for the child's sake that the animal is going to hurt it, but fear that they might not understand what they're doing to the pet.

When I was a kid I would climb to the top of trees that were definitely way to flimsy to be climbed all the way up on. Sometimes I would even try jumping out of them. Thankfully I never broke anything that way.
The dumbest thing I ever did was run around in a supermarket with my sister. Cut the back of my head wide open when I slipped and slammed it on a metal shelf. They had to cut some of my hair so they could still it up. ;-;
Either that or the time I was riding a bike like a jerk, fell off and permanently messed up my teeth. There was a blood stain on the road for a week until it rained really heavy. ._.

I remember when I was younger I had an obsession with rocks, and littles screws, and things. I still do like rocks, and collect crystals, but it was a bit different when I was around the age of three. I'd pick up any old dirty rock, and hold it. Keep it in my hand for as long as I could remember I had it, until I dropped it. My grandmother even told me, one time I fell asleep I had a rock in my hand, and I was gripping it so hard that no one could take it from me. Nowadays, I keep my rocks in a box so I can look at them, and observe their qualities. Yes, I do not hold rocks in my sleep anymore (laugh).

I somehow thought it would be a good idea to stick my hand in a geyser while at Yellow Stone National Park.

The only reason I still have my hand at all is because it was a dead geyser and was cold as ice.

Well, I wasn't that much of a kid when this happened, but in 8th grade we were remolding my house. The front door was a plate glass door, and it had been open all day. My dad told me to run over to the house from our family store to get my jacket so that we could head into town to go out to eat. I ran over to the house, but I didn't realize that someone had closed the glass door.

Weeeell, I believe you can all guess what happens when a 211 pound, running young girl hits a sheet of plate glass. I still have the scars from going through that glass door.

Oh, goodness that's awful! D: I ran into a freshly Windexed glass door while playing hide and week (thought it was open), but all I wound up doing was hitting it, bouncing off of it, and losing a tooth (baby tooth).

A weird thing I would do was stick dead crickets in a Dr.Pepper bottle, so I wouldn't have to touch them. Unfortunately, cockroaches and crickets loved our apartment. >.< I used to cuss people out when I was learning to talk. For example, instead of saying 'bless you' when they sneezed I would say f you. Hehe, I had my bad moments. Oh, and I used to eat dirt like candy, I really don't know why. I'm pretty sure there's been plenty more times, but I can't remember at the moment. One more thing, I too ran into a glass door. When I lived in apartments I was outside with my mom and sister, then I wanted to get something from inside. Forgetting that I closed the door, I ran into it, literally sort of. I bounced back and hit the floor. I didn't hurt myself, but then I ran into my room, after opening the door, and started crying because I was embarrassed. My mom and little sister were laughing so hard, I don't know why I got embarrassed, it was just them. I think I was 7 or 8 at the time. When I think about it now though, I laugh a lot.

When I was three, I decided to go down one of those really tall metal slides while I was at daycare, on my knees. I feel off less than half way down and broke my collarbone. D; The thing is, I wasn't even the stupid one then. It was the ladies running the daycare, who called my parents to tell them I got hurt, but I was perfectly fine. Later, when I got home, I couldn't lift my arm to eat, and my parents just thought it was something stupid I was doing. Soo, it wasn't until my mom was getting me ready for my bath that night and taking my shirt off, thus yanking my arm up, did they find out that it was broken.
D:
The hospital in our town didn't have the right size brace for me and wrapped my in gauze to make a makeshift one. When they took me to the bigger hospital in another city, our docotr told my parents to never ever take me to the other one agaion, because they were idiots who didn't know what they were doing. :D

I wore my grandmother's floral dress until I was seven because I liked the feeling of the fabric against my skin, and it reminded me of my grandmother. I can't really think of anything odd I did as a kid, I know that my brother accidentally ate chalk once because he thought it was a piece of his candy cane that had broken off.

I remember in kindergarten when my friends and I were supposed to be sleeping during nap time, we would wrap our blankets around ourselves and dance around other kids sleeping doing indian dances and we got paddled. It was stupid but very funny at the same time when I was a kid. It was a long time ago. *sigh*

One day when I was about 5, I got away from my mom when we were shopping. I had a bad habit of running off. We were in the clothes department at a K Mart. I saw one of those round clothing racks and it was totally devoid of clothing. And apparently, to a 5 year old me, empty clothing rack = jungle gym. So I ran over to it and began climbing on it. I was swinging from the main bar having a good ol' time. And wouldn't you know it, the whole thing topples over and I end up on my back, pinned underneath this big clothing rack wailing for my mommy.

The funny thing was, that store was totally empty, but when the rack fell on me, this crowd of people and employees just came out the wood work to help me. I'm still convinced there weren't THAT many people in that store...
