YamiSora 02-27-2010 08:31 AM

now Sora's NEVER had a long trip where it took a few days.....just a couple of hours, so who knows, maybe Sora'll sleep in a moving thing when it's overnight XP

Amika66 02-27-2010 06:05 PM

haha funny cuz i sleep better in a moving car than in my own bed. i dont know why but ive always LOVED sleeping in moving vehicles... lol i find it so relaxing and i usually sleep reall deep and dream reall awesum stuff ya know? lol

Wyndi Ayr 02-27-2010 06:21 PM

Oh I can definatly sleep in the car. With relatives that're hours away to drive to- it was a skill I quickly learned.

Especially since if I do bring a book to read- I can only do so for a half hour before I start to get motion sick :gonk:

So I learned to sleep, and can do so in a car at nearly a whim. Though I wake up when we start to slow down- but I'm pretty sure thats rather common ^^;

DearSweetAru 02-27-2010 07:25 PM

I can NOOOOOT sleep in any vehicle unless I am on the brink of passing out D: and even so it's not for a long time. I'm very picky with where I sleep aaaand I apparently suffer from motion sickness! So, it's kinda hard for me to sleep.

My brother, however, could sleep on a jagged boulder if he wanted to. =\

XD So, yeeeeah. No sleep in cars for me =D

Drigan 02-27-2010 08:00 PM

for me it's nearly impossible...
I can't even sleep in a vehicle when it's not moving.. lol xD
unless I can sleep with the chair almost completely down or on the bench..

otherwise... I can't xD...

way too many sounds...

end next to that..

it isn't very comfortable is it? >___<

kabbiee 02-27-2010 08:19 PM

I can sleep pretty much anywhere (car, bus, train, plane...) as long as i've been there for at least 2 hrs...
And im tired, of course.

Shiruvya 02-27-2010 08:27 PM

I was never able to sleep on vehicles except once in a car on the way to New York - never before. We had blankets and stuff though.

YamiSora 02-28-2010 06:34 PM

yea, it always helps to have blankets and such. XP

The only time I can get to sleep in a moving vehicle is in the car, after a long day at school, and even then only when no-one is talking, I'm in a window-seat and the radio is on at medium volume :P I am seriously bad at going to sleep though.

In the bus, I can never sleep, but I do doze when it's like 8am and the bus is moving all rhythmically - my eyelids just sort of flop down, and my chin drops to my chest... get some wierd looks from the other passengers though! The worst thing is when I don't know how long I've been asleep, or whether I've been snoring (I carpool, so that would be embarassing!) etc, etc.

I wish I had that knack where I could fall asleep anywhere, anytime - my mom and dad do these annoying holidays where we camp in the car (:@!) and I have to squish up, and shimmy around until I'm lying down and mildly warm - I CANNOT sleep sitting up, I have to be leaning on something, preferably with my legs up, xD.

YamiSora 02-28-2010 07:35 PM

buses have those big windows, so that makes Sora a little more scared to go to sleep.....especially when it's towards the sun >x<

Abduco 02-28-2010 07:36 PM

When I'm tired, I have no choice. But just because I sleep doesn't mean it's comfortable. I usually have a pounding headache once I wake up D=

ArsenicAttitude 02-28-2010 08:08 PM

Yeah, I can sleep.
Sometimes, it can get a little uncomfortable though.
My brothers decided to take the backseat, instead of the middle, and before I used to have the back all to myself so I could stretch out and sleep comfortably.
Now I have to lay my head against the window.
D:

iiangel.love26 03-01-2010 12:52 PM

it depends ... if i'm not comfortable with the atmosphere inside then ofcourse, i won't be able to sleep in it ...
But if I feel carefree and have nothing to worry about, and I know that there'll be someone to wake me up or something, then i can ...

:vicky::vicky:

FAGGY CHAN 03-01-2010 09:45 PM

Depends if I'm tired enough.
If I am, then yeah.
I used to fall asleep in the car while my grandma didn't stop talking to me about flowers and books. ug.

YamiSora 03-02-2010 11:22 PM

ah thats another thing, Sora feels bad for the people who are driving and Sora doesn't want them to feel bored XP

Deviant 03-03-2010 12:16 AM

Cars, buses, and boats I never have a problem with.

Airplanes on the other hand, I can never sleep in those things, because there is never a point in an airplane where I feel completely comfortable and safe. As negative as this sounds, I want to be awake so I can text my family if I fall out of the sky >.>'

Jobunneh 03-03-2010 03:48 AM

I can usually sleep in a car. But I cannot on buses. I hate buses. They give me motion sickness and I always get a headache. I'm so glad I don't have to deal with field trips anymore. >_>;

Megas2point0 03-03-2010 04:10 AM

I so can. << Every day on the bus and train to and from college. Fun fun. Only missed my stop on the train once so far. <<;;;;

drachenlady 03-03-2010 10:32 AM

I can sleep in a moving vehicle, but I don't want to. There are just so many things to see when on any trip for any period of time. Even when I just go to the liquor store or ride the same route over and over, I always feel like there is always something interesting to see no matter how many times you see it.

Snort Like A Pig 03-04-2010 02:00 AM

Awww, don't worry! My siblings are like that too. :) But I sleep like a baby anywhere.

divasri 03-04-2010 02:36 AM

I actually sleep very well in a car...well, providing the person driving isn't falling asleep

Satisfied 03-04-2010 04:50 AM

Ah good topic. I sleep on my bus every morning, unless there are loud people then it's hard to sleep. I can sleep just about everywhere... okay not everywhere but just about. Like last week I was headed to the doctor, there was so much traffic next thing I know I'm getting tired, car starts to move and I fall asleep. Next thing I know were at the doctors office. Woah short trip felt even shorter after sleeping :sleep:.

MiRode 03-04-2010 05:00 AM

lol i fall asleep on the bus in the mornings too
that is if my friend isn't talking to me about her weekend : P
I can sleep in just about anywhere that isn't too painful or with an annoying noise like snoring or clocks ticking.

Wat3rElem3nt 03-04-2010 08:13 AM

OMG Lol, as long as I am not the one driving I am out like a light! Something about anything in gentle motion makes me want to go to sleep!

YamiSora 03-04-2010 09:20 AM

yea, Sora'd hope you'd be awake when your driving O3O XDD
