It all happened after a very long game of Tetris. xD So, I had this strange dream that I was at school and that we were starting a new unit in Math. "Okay class, we are starting a new unit called 'Tetris Math' Read the text book for information and we'll take it up when you're done." the teacher said. Everyone looked neutral. Like if it was something we've done before or used to. When I looked at the text book and the work I got very confused. It just sounded like the teacher was talking nonsense. But then my friend explained it to me but I just spaced out until I found out that what I was supposed to do. I was supposed to look at the picture of Tetris blocks and to see which blocks would've disappeared and to write/draw what would be left of it. I personally found it odd.
What would be your opinions on this is this was a real math unit?
Would you want to try Tetris Math if it was real?
Any comments?

yesss! That would be awesome haha :P preferable to matrices and polar graphs which is what were covering right now//. Though I don't think it would be a very useful unit of math.. the tetris math that is.

That sounds confusing to me, more like a memory game than maths. I hated maths, but I was okay at it, which made things annoyingly worse. I would prefer it to trigonometry though. I HATED that!

I'd definitely give that a try! Sounds pretty cool compared to Trig or Geometry...I actually liked Algebra; that was the one thing I was good at when it came to math. Other than that, can't stand the subject...

Quite confusing, but it would be great for learning logic skills, basic Tetris for middle school, then multiple pieces and results for high school. It would be quite the conundrum trying to piece multiple pieces to make up an end result with the least amount of pieces/smallest height. Great idea.

Tetris is kinda like math.. It's like geometry..So I guess that dream in a way could make some sense :P

That sounds pretty neat to me. I'd SLAY for a teacher like that. D: Even if it was just a dream.
Now, as long as no one is dividing by 0, I'm good.

I learned counting with blocks and things and my friends and I would play this tetris sorta game with it.
I think I know what you're talking about though. Sounds fun

its sounds like it could work, it be a good way to get the classes attention or have a fun group activity!
once i had a dream about the combanitorics of sudoku! this was after a particularly hard combinatorics lesson in my class and it was the day before a test to! I tol the teacher about it after the test and he was like "oh ive had those dreams!" @ [email protected]
